The owner was very knowledgeable and took the time to listen to what we wanted. Him and his team were very efficient in their work and provided a stunning end product. To whom it may concern. Over the years I've hired a lot of landscape contractors and building contractors but quite simply Wallla Walla Landscaping is a company unlike any other company that I've ever hired before. From blueprint to completed full landscape of our retaining wall, irrigation and water feature, these guys 100% have my trust and respect. They have the experience and the straight forward business practices to get your job done quickly and correctly. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who needs a landscape construction project completed quickly and correctly.

I needed my approximately 15 foot tall overgrown evergreen shrub trimmed. Checked with some different lawn services and they didn't feel like they could do it properly. Gave Walla Walla Landscaping a call and he said it would be no problem to get it looking good again. John Palmer the owner and his helper WIIL came out and did a good job and didn't charge me much. I would highly recommend them and they do a lot more besides that

For the record, I would like for everyone to know about Walla Walla Landscaping. These guys really do amazing work. From Landscape Design to job completion you will be very glad you hired this company.

We hired them to help improve the curb appeal of our property, so we could sell our home quickly.

They gave us a fixed bid on the job of $14,500. Which was substantially lower than the other quotes we received. When the work was completed one week later, we truly had an amazing new landscape that was the talk of the neighborhood. But the really neat part about all this was when our realtor raised the asking price by $45,000. And we were closing on the property 3 weeks later at the full asking price.

The guys at Walla Walla Landscaping are second to none in our book and we would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs landscaping work done. Thanks!

You do realize none of these reviews are legitimate, right? This company is a joke. Avoid at all costs.

They will take your money and do nothing for it don't do it

They did a job for my mom what a joke it took forever to get the job done they over charged her by thousands of dollars.

Came out and looked at the yard, told my wife they would text an estimate, I called back days later, since i hadn’t received a text or call back, and they stated they told her that day they were gonna pass on a bid! Thankfully I pressed em for an update or I would still be waiting for an estimate!

MATT SCHACK was my contact. He did not show on a Thursday morning as scheduled, THEN rescheduled for noon - did not show up again, AND without notice, THEN rescheduled for Friday morning - and CANCELLED. Was not responsive to telephone calls nor text messages, except the last cancelled appointment.

Do not believe a word John Palmer tells you. He will promise to replace plants and give you a one-year warranty then refused to cover them and even discuss the situation. The most unprofessional way of handling a business that I’ve ever come across. All you would have to do is answer a phone call or return a message and I’m sure we could get it straightened out but he refuses to do that. Do not hire this company they will take your money and then leave you blowing in the wind.

I saw that you just now responded to my review on Google. Why don’t you pick up the phone and call me so we can discuss the problems. you refuse to do that! You have never spoken to me about what the problems were. I sent you photos of dead plants all over the place yet you still do not return the phone call if you would like to really respond and take care of this I’m happy to discuss it with you until then you are absolutely the worst company that I’ve ever dealt with . You need to live up to your word and follow thru personally.

Update: They flipped the section so the sprinkler blow out valve is on the correct side, but they didn’t flip the backflow preventer. I won’t be able to get water flow this spring to my yard. I notified them within 72 hours of the error occuring, and have followed up with texts and emails multiple times. ZERO RESPONSE RECIEVED!!! It’s been nothing but problems twice now!!!!

They dropped our piping into the ground, but put the sprinker blow out valve on the wrong side of the backflow preventer. I’ve reached out 8 times for them to fix it and can’t get a response! I can’t blow out my sprinklers!

MATT SCHACK Came out to my grandparents house back second weeknight May 2021 , did a walk through on what we wanted done. Promised to have a estimate done the following Monday. It’s now July. I’ve also called numerous times, no one was ever aware of my messages how ironic. No ONE ever called back I’d someone answered and said I will have this person call ya back ..I will never recommend this company to anyone. This is my family’s and I’ experience with them. Not even worth the 1 star however I could not leave a review with out clicking a star..

They made lots of promises, started like gangbusters, and then abandoned us. John’s word is meaningless. Get EVERYTHING in detailed writing. Include substantial penalties for late finish. Pay only initial fee until you have inspected finished work -hard to follow after three months for a three week project. Get everything in DETAILED writing. John’s word is worthless. In writing, in detail, or you will regret it! Better yet, go with a reputable contractor. No add-on will be respected. Not even slightly. John talks a smooth line. Don’t truest it.

We had a very unfortunate experience with these guys. Twice we scheduled meetings with William, who never showed. He sure did show to get his money before the job was completed however! No after care guidance given. When a section of sod completely died because it didn't take hold, they said they'd return to replace it & have never called or replaced it. We are now paying someone else to reseed & fix the mess this outfit left behind. No communication, poorly completed yard project, no follow up. Avoid this company at all costs.

John came out to bid work for our backyard/stream. The bid came via text two weeks later after I reached out to confirm if he was still planning to bid.

He returned the next week to bring a copy of the bid/contract and collect the down payment (large). He walked the property, confirmed the plan, took the check and we haven’t seen him since.

The check cleared the next day. Absolutely no response since (email, text, phone call). So I went to visit the office in person. When I got there, the office was being emptied of all material. I spoke with the property manager who said he could also not reach anyone.

There is an answering service taking calls, but no one is returning ours. We have called numerous times.

I 100% expect we have lost our money.

And, we also heard he left town and that others are in a similar situation.

If you know him or see him, we’d like our money back.

John Palmer Came out and bid 3 projects for 10k not to go over and was agreed upon, on chicken scratch estimate he did not put the price on it. They did not do any prep work for our gravel driveway and it needs constant spraying, it was supposed to be 3 inches but is less than 1/2 inches in some spots. They were supposed to landscape fabric and that did not happen but there were some guys wanting around weed whacking. They were supposed to clear a small spot by our pump, that was not done. Lastly they were edge the inside of the yard and fabric that and to put in barriers, they scraped it but no fabric or barriers. After only working mostly on the drive way for 3 days they handed me a bill for 16k with projects not completed and supposed to tell me when they were close to 10k. We had to get a lawyer involved and John sent threats over text message and threatened to harass me at my work place and kids schools. Also a lot of high reviews are from the owners and registered agents so read all the reviews before you make a decision.
