Rick went out of his way to help me when I was in a pinch. He had a machine break down and instead of telling me I was out of luck, he grabbed a shovel and hand loaded a trailer full of dirt. Please use Rick any chance you have, he’ll get to work for you!

Rick and his crew did an amazing job landscaping for our new home. After building, we needed a lawn and were dealing with lots of sloping terrain that had the potential for erosion and water damage to the house. Rick took NO shortcuts putting in our yard and it is now paying off a year later! We needed a lot of erosion blankets and waterways created, and two retaining walls. Rick also took his time to talk me through what I would need to do for maintenance to ensure the grass would grow. During all his work, he found problems left by our home building contractors - shotty excavating and crushed drain tile - and he went above and beyond to fix it all for us! He didn't cut any corners, even through all the difficult grading, to ensure we were satisfied, and we are! We'll have Rock Landscape back for our next landscaping project!

Rick was punctual, professional, and created ideas to enhance my hosta masterpiece of a garden that he helped create several years ago. Rick spent quality time on a Sunday with my sister, a family friend, and me as we toured the gardens at his business and discussed ideas for all three of our yards. Those ideas were followed up with selection of the perfect plants and accent pieces for our yards.

I have known and dealt with Rick Rock for over 10 years! Never been disappointed. He does what he says he'll do and better than you expect. He sells hosta and other perennials which are of great quality. He has built and maintains gorgeous gardens at his home/business. I have seen many designs he has done for others as well. Rick's attention to detail is unsurpassed. You won't be disappointed! He is a great go-to person for plant and design advice as well as for problem solving. Highest in my review is his straight forward approach and honesty along with excellence in his work. He goes above and beyond with each job.

My sister and I visited Rick's place last week and enjoyed a personal tour of the gardens and plants. Rick was so kind and picked peonies, lilacs, alliums and other plants for us along the way. We ended up with an amazing bouquete of gorgeous flowers. Rick's place is full of the most beautiful and strong peonies and so many varieties of hostas. We were so happy we stopped by!

Highly recommend Rick as your source to buy hostas and companion plants. His gardens are beautiful and the plants are healthy and disease free. He takes the time to sterilize tools equipment before and after digging and pruning plants.

You can walk around the gardens with him or on your own and pick out plants that interest you. He will give you a price based on the size of the plant you want. You can buy the whole mature plant, a division from it, or smaller ones growing in pots in the nursery bed. If you need help deciding what will work and look great in your garden, he will take time to help you with your design.

During our conversation while making my appointment, he said “ I want you to be successful”. After being there, I know he really meant what he said. I left with beautiful healthy plants and also an education to successfully grow them. Well worth the 3-1/2 hour drive for me to get there. I’ll definitely be going back!!

I called Rock Landscape & Gardens to see if we could do Senior pictures for my daughter at their property. She wanted flowers and she wasn't disappointed. The owner, Rick, was very friendly and knowledgeable. While we were waiting for our photographer, he walked us around and told us about his gardens and showed us some good spots for pictures. His gardens were beautiful, and we had a great time. Thank you Rick!

I am completely delighted with my first purchase from Rock Landscape & Gardens! All of the hosta plants I received are nice, sturdy, healthy specimens with excellent root systems, and at reasonable prices. They were very carefully packed, and shipped without issue. Rick takes time to offer guidance on planting methods, and is very responsive to questions asked. I'll definitely be ordering here again, and highly recommend this company!
