In June we called GritOn Construction for another project. Adam along with help from Scott Guelig replaced all of our windows. It was quite the undertaking, between Mom and I there were a total of 28 windows and 2 patio doors. Did I mention that we both live in upstairs units, so yes a lift was needed. We also have an irrigation system. They were both on their hands and knees looking for the spouts to mark so they wouldn't run over them with the lift. If you remember in June it was very hot and rainy, they did not miss a day! Adam had to use a lot of plywood on the grass for the lift, this was all picked up daily, he even went as far as to rake up the grass. Everything that was used was picked up daily, you wouldn't even have known they were here. We watched them put in a couple of windows. Ever one was vacuumed up, new flashing put in and anything else that needed to be fixed or replaced was. They were so precise putting them in making sure that the insulation would be evenly distributed around the window. This is where we would like to give a shout out to Blaine (Adam's dad). He didn't just stuff some insulation around the windows, he made sure it was in there nice and tight and full. He then washed them all and they looked awesome! We always enjoy seeing Blaine.
Adam worked with Ted(Meixensperger Painting) to do the staining of our windows and trim, of course we both have different colors. We have used Ted for other painting so we know he is very particular too. Shout out to him also, because both of our stains match perfectly to the other trim in our house and the windows look fantastic!
We know this is a lengthy review, but we really didn't even break the surface on how well Adam manages and tackles every detail big and small. There were a few issues with putting in a couple of the windows and we barely knew about it because Adam took care of it. Any issues or questions we thought we had Adam already had thought of. I'm sure it seems like we are over exaggerating how good Adam (and all the people he uses) is but until you use him, you won't truly know and understand!

I did a fairly extensive project on my kitchen and living area. Adam who is the owner of Griton spent a lot of time before we ever began getting details figured out and the numbers together. I am extremely happy and highly recommend Griton Construction. Adam is just a great guy with big attention to detail and he makes sure all of his workmanship and that of his subcontractors are done right. No cut corners. Adam treated my project like a million dollar project (which it wasn't) He cleaned up everyday It became obvious pretty quickly that Adam has handpicked a very impressive group of subcontractors who all have the same work ethic he does. Just great to find his level of service in today's world i had guests coming for Christmas so we were on a pretty tight timeline Adam coordinated all the timing of who came when to do what. I didnt have to worry about it I just watched my vision come to life My guests arrived to a completed and beautiful kitchen and living area Thanks Adam. You definitely earned 5 stars

We’ve had a kitchen remodel, two bathroom remodels, and a finished basement completed by Adam at Griton. For each project, Adam started off by listening to our needs and provided fantastic recommendations and solutions. At each step of the way, he maintained excellent communication and craftsmanship. We are extremely satisfied with everything and highly recommend Griton!

Adam was amazing to work with. He took the time to listen to our thoughts and worked diligently to make our vision a reality. He was upfront and honest keeping us informed through each step. We appreciated his honesty and creativity as we proposed many different options and ideas. Additionally, Adam and his team went out of their way when we/I (😊) came up with new visions along the way. Their willingness to “pivot” was remarkable. Despite all of the chaos that renovations bring, they worked around our schedules and always cleaned up after work day.
All of our projects turned out better than we could have imagined.❤️ The craftsmanship and attention to detail was exceptional and we are so thankful for Adam and his entire team.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We cannot say enough great things about Adam. He completely transformed our kitchen, removed a wall, installed new flooring, and helped bring our vision to life. With an older home, we expected surprises along the way — and there were definitely a few — but he handled every unexpected issue with professionalism, skill, and a positive attitude.

What stood out most was his willingness to tackle challenges instead of cutting corners. He communicated throughout the process, offered solutions, and truly cared about the quality of the finished product. The craftsmanship and attention to detail exceeded our expectations.

Renovations can be stressful, especially in an older home, but he made the experience so much easier. We’re beyond happy with our new space and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for honest, reliable, high-quality work.

We’ve worked with Adam on many projects over the years, but our most recent one was truly exceptional. He transformed a very old, dark basement family room into the best room in the house.

Adam brought creative ideas to brighten the space and add character, including encouraging us to add an egress window. He showed us examples of the impact it could make, and it ended up being a complete game changer. He also reconfigured a wall and created a nook under the stairwell, which added charm and avoided the long, narrow feel the room would have otherwise had.

During demolition, Adam discovered a cracked foundation. What we assumed would delay the project for weeks was handled seamlessly—he contacted an excellent basement repair specialist and had them on site within a week. Had we tried to manage this ourselves, it would have taken much longer.

Every subcontractor Adam brought in was top-notch, and Adam was consistently present—there at the start, checking in at completion, and ensuring the work met both his standards and ours. The workspace was always left clean and organized.

Adam handled everything from planning through finishing touches. His communication is clear, his workmanship and attention to detail are excellent, and he’s genuinely easy and enjoyable to work with. GritOn Construction is built on integrity, honesty, and quality craftsmanship. Adam will always be our first call for any home project, and we recommend him without hesitation.

We hired Adam for a couple kinda big projects at our home. We hired him primarily from his reviews on Google. Those were reviews were quite good and he certainly lived up to them and more. He removed a built in fireplace from our dinning room (I know, we have no idea why the previous owner put a fireplace in the dinning room). Adam and his crew member (Dad) did a fabulous job with both removal and repair and finish of the wall. We also had him install a man door in our cinder block garage. Again, unclear why it wasn't built without one. Adam brought in a crew to cut the sizable hole in the cinder block for the door to be installed. They did a fabulous job on that as well. Adam has a ton of resources in both talented people and materials. He is very, very good at what he does. We are 100% satisfied with the results of both projects. This includes workmanship, friendliness, materials used, timely manner on which they were completed, competitive price and cleanliness. Thank you Adam. You rock... :)
We will definitely look to work with Adam again if we need anything else done at our home.
