Artisans! We never thought our house, a '60s tri-level in Parkwood Hills, could ever have curb appeal. But the team at Exterior Renovations knew exactly how to make it stand out. The results are amazing and even more surprising, came within our budget! A year later, we still get neighbors stopping by to discuss the look. We really came to see the team as family, they were so fun to have around. We wish they did interiors as well, would love to have them back. Michael, Jason, and the entire crew, thank you so much!

Cannot recommend this company highly enough. They got us out of a tough spot with a previous roof job gone wrong, and were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. Likely not the cheapest out there, but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality, workmanship and customer service. We would recommend them to everyone we know!

I had to get some work done on my house in a hurry for water damage to a basement patio door. This was no small task, from what I could gather there was a rotten header above the door which if left unaddressed could spell serious structural damage to the entire wall. Exterior Renovations responded to my request right away and within a week their crew was on the job fixing the issues with top notch quality and true professionalism. Everyone I worked with from Exterior Renovations was kind, courteous and answered all the questions and concerns I had so I could understand as I had only a small amount of construction experience. I was also pleasantly surprised at the up front and affordable price for the repairs.
I whole heartedly recommend this company, they are great at what they do and care about the work.

Exterior Renovations is an incredible company to work with. Hire them for your siding job and you won't regret it.

Our house originally had cedar lap siding, which looked great but was constantly attacked by woodpeckers. We needed an alternative that would look right, and also prevent woodpecker attack. At first, we weren't sure what the best approach would be, so we invited a number of companies to assess and give quotes. We were immediately impressed by Exterior Renovations and Matt Bruesch, their representative. Matt didn't simply say "Yeah, we can do that, and this it what it takes." He took the time to assess the job, to listen to what we were thinking and were trying to do (originally we were thinking of steel siding), and then persuaded us that Hardie Plank would do the job we needed and would have the look of cedar lap without the bird damage. We really got the sense that he was thinking about what would look right and not just making a sale. With a quote that was competitive, we took their offer.

Our home was not a simple job. Lots of ins and outs, overhangs, and porches. Other companies had said it would take them 3-4 weeks to do. Once work began, Exterior Renovations really demonstrated that they are superior in every way. They were able to do the work a few weeks after we signed the contract, and they put a large, well-organized crew on the job and completed the work in 7 working days. Attention was paid to every detail to ensure that our home has a durable, weather-proof finish. The equipment they used, such as pump jacks instead of scaffold, was state-of-the-art so as to minimize disruption and damage to our property. While the work was ongoing, we worked with Jason, who oversaw the work on site, saw to it that we were kept up to date with everything as it happened. Jason went the extra mile to get things done quickly so as to minimize our disruption.

It's rare to come through a job of this kind and not have something that isn't quite right, but in this case we were completely satisfied with every aspect of the work. Full marks to Exterior Renovations. We will surely seek them out for future work on our home.

This is a class A company. They completed a siding on a commerical apartment building and they were great. Jason and Casey were amazing to work with and can't wait until our next project with them.

We were in need of a new roof due to hail damage. Exterior Renovations LLC was quick to come out and give us a quote and work with our insurance. We were told it would take two days to complete the project but it only took them one and they did an amazing job. We have gotten a lot of compliments on our new roof and recommend them to everyone we know!

We recently completed a whole house cement fiber siding replacement. They were helpful and thoroughly professional. They did not try to oversell the project and gave me a couple of options for various job sizes to manage our budget. They kept me updated throughout the project and answered any questions I had promptly and thoroughly. I was also impressed by the crew they sent to work on our house. The crew was professional and polite at all times. And of course, the job was done beautifully. I would definitely recommend Exterior Renovations. Two thumbs up from me.

10/10! Highly recommend! Siding our home with Exterior Renovations was an incredibly positive, smooth, seamless experience! I have never been a part of such a large scale project and financial investment so the task was initially daunting. When Matt first visited our property he was friendly and knowledgeable and nothing about it felt like it was just a sale. As he referred to his team he spoke highly of each one of them and we later met many of these team members. It was evident how well this company is run by the highly skilled professionals and respectful people that make this company and our experience such a great one. Jim has a well seasoned resume of all things related to homes. He suggested some things we had not noticed but added a better aesthetic appearance to the home. There is also 'the other Matt,' the craftsman 'Yoda' who worked hard in his workshop for us and even left his workshop to come on site to ensure an important detail I wanted would be done with the right parts for the job. We were lucky enough to have G as our project manager and he came out to the property prior to the beginning of the project to introduce himself, ask questions and answer my questions. This provided him an opportunity to see what the project would need, what us as homeowners were looking for, and offer a detailed approach to what the process would look like. He was on site almost every single day, sometimes multiple times throughout the day, and available by phone throughout the project. We have a 50 year old home and were not surprised to find some unexpected things as the old siding came off. These required work order changes outside the planned proposal and they were seamlessly incorporated into the project. While we were able to visualize the majority of the new exterior prior to the tear off, we made some color changes to details such as trim and gutters. G and his team again were able to accommodate all of these with ease which only enhanced the beauty of the final result. Our home and yard were carefully considered as the project required using a lot of ground surface area. The supplies were placed thoughtfully that allowed minimal disruption to the yard and landscaping. The team worked long days and always cleaned up our property before they left. When the dumpsters arrived we had advanced notice so we were able to prepare our use of the driveway. This might seem inconsequential, but while the portable restrooms spotted around work sites are necessary, they are also unsightly. I was pleasantly surprised to see they use a company "redbox+" which has them inconspicuously incorporated into the dumpster - so very clever. These spent some time on our property and we were never reminded of them as they were not easy to spot. Even the driver and owner who dropped them off allowed me to collaborate exactly where to place them in our driveway. That may seem insignificant but it made all the difference in navigating our vehicles in and out of the garage. We were able to park inside and the most vehicles I believe they had on site were three which I appreciated for all of our neighbors who use the street. During the project we had a significant storm that caused destruction to two of our neighbors homes. Matt took no time to consider that my neighbors were not his customers nor was he there that day to help them, but he grabbed a ladder and immediately surveyed their damage. Even Jim came out again to offer his years of experience on what looked like a significant repair. For.My.Neighbor. Both homeowners that morning were able to have the information they needed to plan the necessary repairs. Talk about "Finding The Helpers!" When you don't know what you need to know this is when you're thankful you know a "Matt." We are beyond thrilled with the transformation of our home that Exterior Renovations took from my ideas, put them onto paper and then into materials that produced a beautiful result. We have a long history as customers of Exterior Renovations from the initial construction of our home 21 years ago through several roof replacements and other projects over the years. We unfortunately had to deal with another roof replacement due to hail damage however working with Matt on the estimate and with Trae on the execution of the project we had another great experience. Communication during all stages from estimate, to scheduling, to rescheduling based on our needs, to project execution and follow-up was excellent. Also, very happy with the end result and we'll be calling again for future projects. Highly recommend the good folks at Exterior Renovations!

This company is a rare find. I had siding done on our duplex in Sun Prairie. I can't say enough about all aspects of this project and experience. The crew was experienced, clean, professional, diligent with the details-they cared and were good at their job. In addition to doing a fantastic job on the siding, they repaired underlying damage from a botched window replacement job done a few years ago, which included some minor sheathing and framing repair and insulation replacement.
I thought their pricing was straightforward and incredibly reasonable as well. I want to pay experienced working folks a livable wage and not line the pockets management you know?
The site manager had over 10 years of actual on-the-ground working experience so he was able to explain in detail what they were doing. He also responded to my questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
I could go on and on. At the end of the day, I am sleeping better knowing that things were done well, done right, and I paid a respectable price.
Always get multiple quotes...but then go with these folks knowing things are going to get done right.

I was very happy with the process from quote to finished product. The work was completed nicely and very quickly! We were very happy that we chose to complete our project with Exterior Renovations. We worked with Jay and Trae and they were professional and reliable. I really appreciated how nicely the area was cleaned up when they were done working.

When we have more work needed in the future we will be back, and I will recommend them to family and friends.

Just a fantastic experience with Exterior Renovations from start to finish. The team as a whole was thoughtful, diligent, helpful, and pleasant to have around. We had a complete exterior overhaul, and Michael was so thorough with addressing every single one of our questions--with more detail and explanation than any other company we talked with. The pricepoint beat every other company we talked with (except one who was willing to match the price), but they also were meeting our unique needs with creative ideas and personalized solutions to our unique problems (for instance, unique fascia and soffet design for an old home in order to maintain the character and more inventive and effective gutter installation to avoid strap-hung gutters). John, the lead on our project, had a great attention to detail and obviously took great pride in his work (as he should) and was always happy to answer questions. We ran into a couple of hiccups in house structure (rotting wood, etc) which were also addressed promptly and efficiently. Communication and promptness were amazing throughout the entire experience. Two small details were left unfinished, and Michael noticed them himself in his own followup to the project and were taken care of promptly. Honestly, we’re still shocked at how smoothly and and pleasantly such a giant project went. For one of the best-priced quotes, we were worried we’d pay the price in some way, but instead we really just found the best company to work with. We’ll most definitely be using Exterior Renovations for all future projects with no hesitation.
