Excellent work ethic and craftsmanship. They did a beautiful job on my kitchen and primary bath renovation. Communication and project updates were easy and timely.

As a prominent, North Shore and greater Milwaukee Realtor, I rely on knowledgable and trustworthy referrals for my clients. I never hesitate to refer Jeff Koenig of LaBonte Construction to my most discerning clients. He is detailed, thorough, trust worthy and does some of the best work in town. Highly recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with LaBonte Construction on our renovation project in Milwaukee! The entire team is professional and delivers a high level of customer service. I highly recommend them!

LaBonte Construction has been an amazing partner to Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity, creating a value add for their clients and helping to support our mission by diverting materials from the landfills that are then sold in our Restores.

Dave, along with his team, was so helpful from start to finish. We had many questions and they had solutions! During the project the crew always cleaned up; the team was professional, polite, and timely. This was a fairly large project for us and even with some of my requested changes/additions, they completed when expected. We LOVE our new space – wouldn’t change a thing – couldn’t be more grateful to LaBonte!

Great remodeling company with attention to detail. Your remodeling project will be a clean and easy project with LaBonte Construction. Their subcontractors are second to none. Their knowledge of the building process gets your project done right the first time. Their project manager(s) work hard to give you a stress free experience.

The whole Labonte team was fantastic to work with. We did a large addition and garage, which required a lot of coordination with a different subcontractors. They have a create network of subs, who were also great. They did a good job keeping on schedule and we're really happy with the quality of the work.

LaBonte Construction remodeled our kitchen. The process was so professional with a personal approach. They guided us in our decision making and designed the perfect kitchen for our home. Stayed within budget and time schedule. Highly recommend them

Dave LaBonte and LaBonte Construction are true professionals. I'm very satisfied with the work they did on my home on the North Shore in the Milwaukee area. They were prompt, customer service oriented and did very high quality work. They kept me well informed. Thanks, Dave!

Jeff and his team have worked with me on several remodeling projects. The first time I hired LaBonte Construction, they made updates to my home in Mequon including decorative molding, a bathroom, and a kitchen remodel. When I moved to Whitefish Bay, they helped with custom cabinetry. Most recently, they are acting as owner's representatives while I am remodeling my condominium out of state. In a world where few are accountable, they always answer the phone and make sure things are done correctly.

We have done a lot of work with Dave LaBonte and his team. They are always great to work with and are organized with the customers best interest in mind! Their communication to all sub contractors is on point and they don't delay. Causing less interruptions in the remodel/new construction process! We are very thankful work the work that Dave has brought to Budiac Plumbing, Inc.

Jeff and the team at LaBonte Construction worked with me as owner's representatives when I was considering building a custom home on the east side of Milwaukee. They had thoughtful advice, helped with budgeting, and made introductions to quality architects. I would use them for remodeling in the future and would recommend them to a friend.

Dave LaBonte is a pros pro.
As head of LaBonte Construction he never lost contact with us as his client. His prices were fair and the work was finished on schedule. Any issues that always come with major construction projects were dealt with immediately. The project included windows, doors , siding, driveways, tree removal and demolition and construction of a new garage. I’ve dealt with good GC’s before and Dave runs rings around them. His written status reports every two weeks keeps you in the loop through the entire process. Highest praise.

Our family has used Labonte construction on a number of projects over the last five years including one major whole home renovation and a basement remodel.

There is so much more than price that goes into selecting a good general contractor (although they were price competitive as well).

Trust, communication and honesty are critically important. Coming in on time (or having clear communication about changes), coming in on budget and standing behind your work. Labonte does all of these and more.

The sub contractors they use are excellent and their site managers are very professional. We’ve referred multiple friends to them and heard nothing but good feedback as well.

I can’t recommend them highly enough.! 👍👍👍

We have done electrical subcontracting work for LaBonte Construction for years. They are great at providing accurate timelines with a quality finished product. They are very detailed, organized and have excellent communication. We always look forward to working with LaBonte Construction because the end result is always top notch with happy customers.

Dave LaBonte and his team were exceptional. Dave took on a very unique renovation and addition that other contractors weren’t able to wrap their heads around. He worked with us to bring our vision to life which exceeded our expectations. He was very honest about the challenges and cost to our project and managed a tight timeline very well. We lived in the house for part of the renovation and Dave’s team were on time, respectful of our space, and effectively communicated each step of the way.

When I bought my home and decided to gut it, the thought of going through that process was very intimidating! Dave LaBonte was the only contractor that I met with! From the moment we met to talk about the project I knew he was the best fit for me and my family to create a home that reflected us and our lifestyle. From the very beginning Dave listened to what I wanted, offered his opinions, and was upfront with what I should expect! He was always very honest, communicative, and helpful during the project! The subcontractors that he works with were also very respectful, communicative and punctual! Dave made sure the project stayed on course and on budget! He was always available when I had questions or wanted to make a change! It was really nice to know that I could trust the person I was working with and he was always looking out for my best interests! If I ever decide to do another project Dave will be my first call!

Dave LaBonte and his team, including our project manager, Pete Jendrzejek, they were simply “the best”, on all levels. While vacating one’s kitchen is certainly no walk in the park, having the LaBonte crew and their subs taking care of business, it was wonderful! They are totally organized, great communicators and, super nice people.

You know the phrase, that “the best surprise is no surprise”? Well, that’s them. They do exactly what they say they are going to do, on time and of the very highest quality. The quality, absolutely spectacular. Pete and all of his subs, the greatest group of people you could ask for, working in your house, day after day. So easy to have around…while I was thrilled to be back in the kitchen, I missed them when they were gone! Did I mention that the demolition team, Jonathan, the owner of Demo Boys, gave me a cookbook and a bottle of wine when he finished their work? Signed, One Happy Camper

BY. FAR the best remodel experience we have had. We have done several large projects (not with LaBonte) on our home and the kitchen addition/3 season room we did with LaBonte was our best experience of all. The communication, attention to detail, and follow through exceeded expectations and their entire staff is so professional and just amazing to work with.

LaBonte Construction is amazing. When looking for a GC you hope to find someone who is honest about cost and timing - Dave is both. His bid was spot on, and he gave us the keys to our full-house gut renovation with 2 additions one week later than originally projected. As an interior designer who works specifically in new construction, that is unheard of! His communication is constant and clear. The quality of his subcontractors are impeccable. I would recommend LaBonte Construction to my family, friends, neighbors, and the whole Houzz community! I can't speak highly enough of him. Do not pass go, this is your guy.

One word: AMAZING! From our first interview to the completion date, Dave LaBonte was nothing short of incredible. Dave is knowledgeable, hard working, communicative and honest. We did a whole house renovation and had to move out during the process, Dave and his team kept us informed every step of the way. They were respectful of the property, empathetic about how stressful the process is for homeowners and they were fun to deal with. Josh made the custom cabinets throughout the house...he's a real artist and craftsman. Everyone from plumbers, tile guys, electricians and window reps were great. From the beginning Dave and Josh understood our vision and made our dream a reality. And they finished ahead of schedule! ! would highly recommend!
