I think this is a one person shop, so be patient. Nothing glamorous as far as the store goes, but good work and very fair pricing on rewiring a chandelier.

These people are fantastic. They have managed to fix my old Sunbeam Mixmaster not once, but twice. Their prices are reasonable, and I am glad they are still in business, since it is very hard to find places that will repair older items.

Last in person visit was to a classic 1960's repair shop. Nice people who still do repairs, hard to find now. Excellent blade sharpening for dog clippers!

I found Keifer by doing a search through the Oster website (makers of professional quality animal clippers) and was pleased to see they were right here on Monona. The fixed up my clippers, and took the time to explain to me how to maintain them it good condition. When I needed a clipper blade they took the time to talk with me and help me figure out which blade would work best, saving me a lot of frustration. I would definitely recommend them for small appliance repair. They also have a lot of re-furbished small appliances in the store that might save you some money.

I was referred to Kiefer Appliance by Sunbeam Canada as being the ONLY source for replacement beater blades for what they refer to as a "Vintage Mixer" in other words an appliance that is older than dirt...

The communication between Kiefer and myself to determine the actual model - Canada vs. USA models have different numbers - was timely and professional. The part was on hand and I was given the option of NEW or USED parts. The transaction was handled smoothly and seamlessly.

I appreciate a company such as Kiefer in an age of disposable everything to facilitate the renewing and revitalizing of small appliances. They are a godsend to the MAKER/FIXER Movement.

I phoned their place of business. The associate that I talked with was very kind, very informative, and very patient. My impression of this company left me very comfortable, informed and satisfied. I was trying to find a replacement part for my food chopper. This company specializes in warehousing appliance parts for many brands. When I have a need for a replacement part I will be calling them first. Very nice experience for me on a tough day👌

I had them repair my electric razor ten years ago. The battery finally has worn out. I'm going to them again because they do such good work and their prices are very reasonable - I trust Kiefer.

I brought in an antique violet ray machine expecting that they never would work on it as it can produce up to 50,000 volts. It took a couple of weeks to replace the main feed wire and the owner found that an older farm tractor motor used the same type.

I showed this machine to some regular electricians that work commercial property and they didn't know or have any idea to repair it.

Kiefer Appliance is the best. They're honest and skilled, factory-approved for many brands, and experienced with everything from electric shavers to electric lawn mowers, mixers, clocks, vacuum cleaners. Basically, if you've got an appliance that needs work, they'll very politely tell you whether it is worth it to repair, or not, and whether they should make the repair. Their work is skillful and timely. I've had them repair vacuum cleaners, electric sanders, drills, air purifiers, mowers and mixers. The price was more than fair, and keeping my excellent old tools out of the landfill is, to me, priceless.

I took a lamp in that was my mother’s. The switch was broken. He did a nice job fixing it, and took good care of it. The price was very reasonable.
