Ernster heating and cooling are a group of exceptionally reliable, trustworthy, and competent technicians. When your heat stops working on the middle of winter you want to work with someone who gets the job done quickly and correctly.

That was the case with us recently: our furnace stopped working in the dead of winter. Brian was able to come quickly, identify the cause of the problem, and provided me options for fixing. He also explained the trade offs of those options.

When we elected to replace the furnace, he and the team were courteous, respectful, and took great care to get the job done correctly. They talked through the maintenance schedule and verified that my nest thermostat was working properly with the new furnace.

Brian and his team are extremely professional, show up when they say they will and have fair pricing. I highly recommend Ernster Heating and A/C. My family and I will only use them when it comes to our HVAC needs!

I originally asked Brian to come out and chat about options to heat my basement more efficiently, and instead of trying to sell me on something I didn't need, he offered reasonable alternatives that would be more cost effective.
While he was here, I asked him to investigate if my April Aire system was working... and it was not :( He suggested replacing vs. repairing, gave me a ballpark estimate and said he could install it within a few days. As a homeowner with zero knowledge of anything HVAC related, I'm grateful to work with someone who is not only knowledgeable and professional, but genuine, honest and trustworthy. I'll definitely be using Ernster moving forward :)

I got a quote for a new furnace from 4 companies they where the second lowest price! They installed my furnace 2 weeks ago. I would highly recommend them for a new furnace! I also need them to come To adjust a few settings will give s update after that

Brian at Ernster Heating and A/C did a full replacement of our furnace last year and also a repair on our outdoor AC compressor unit this summer. They have the best pricing we found and Brian is responsive and professional. We’ll be using Brian for all of our HVAC needs going forward, hard to find a solid contractor these days, Brian is the best!

Last year, Ben Ernster and his team installed a new AC unit for us. They were quick, efficient, and got the job done for a great price. Fast forward to this year and our unit stopped working due to a manufacturing defect (no fault of Ernster). It was 87 degrees in our house and we were melting. Our unit was out of stock in Wisconsin so the manufacturer was going to delay replacing it under our warranty and leave us in the heat. Ben went to bat for us and got the manufacturer to give us a newer model at no extra cost. He even drove several hours to pick it up for us and install it the same day. Once again Ben and his team were quick with the install process and got the job done right. We've had it for about a week and it's been running great. Highly recommend Ernster Heating and A/C. A family run business that truly cares about their customers--a rare find these days.

Highly recommend Ernster Heating and A/C. Great people, great service, super fast response time. These guys are exactly who you want when you need help with your heat or A/C. I just had Brian out to fix our furnace and will continue to use the Ernster's for now on. It's hard to find this kind of service and kindness anymore
