Kitchen Remodeler reviews in Birmingham, Alabama

We absolutely love our built-in cabinets! 10/10 would recommend this company and adding the optional LED lighting!

Cabinetry Refinishing is the best company I have dealt with in a very long time!!! It was so refreshing to have a company actually provide true customer service! Paul and his team were terrific. Everyone was so kind and focused on doing a great job to make sure I was satisfied. I was updating my kitchen and Paul coordinated everything, not only painting of the cabinets but the countertops, tile installation for the back splash, plumbers and electrician. He kept me informed every step of the way and was very patient with all of my questions. If you are considering work in your home, I highly recommend Cabinetry Refinishing – you will not be disappointed.

When I first began researching local companies to update my 90s kitchen, I spoke with several other businesses claiming to offer cabinet refinishing services. Before even meeting with me in person and seeing my existing kitchen, several of them began pressuring me to purchase brand new cabinets, despite the fact that I told them I wanted to keep my existing solid-wood cabinets. Eventually, I reached out to Cabinetry Refinishing Services, and they quickly arranged an in-person meeting with Paul at my home. Paul evaluated my existing cabinets and offered several options for updating the kitchen, including both refinishing the existing cabinets and providing new cabinets. He never pressured me to pursue the more expensive new cabinets and was very helpful in offering ideas for making my kitchen look more modern without making any expensive layout changes. He also listened to my concerns and offered clear solutions (additional lighting, removing dated trim, etc.). I knew immediately that I was in good hands with Paul and Cabinetry Refinishing Enterprises. Paul facilitated my meeting with the countertop company, offered help with paint colors, hardware, lighting, etc., and kept me informed of all timelines and costs. I was also very impressed with the various professionals that were involved in the process, particularly the electrician. They worked quickly and were very respectful of my home and family. Renovations necessarily mean having strangers in your house, but I always felt very comfortable and had no concerns about giving the team access to my home. The ultimate result is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I believe Cabinetry Refinishing Services offers great quality, great value, and a personal touch that matters when dealing with your home. I would recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their home, regardless of their budget.

We recently completely a fairly large kitchen "refacing" with Paul and his wonderful team. He was very helpful in helping think through several options during the planning phase. He was able to give us a detailed line item budget on the front end so we could see where to make small changes to make the project work best for us. We knew the cost of the project EXACTLY before any work started which we really appreciated. Paul orchestrated all of the workers for us- the plumber, electrician, carpenter, counter fabricators etc. It was the most smooth process. We could not be happier with the finished product and are thrilled with our new kitchen. His whole team is friendly and easy to have in your home which made the process enjoyable. If you are wanting to redo your kitchen, I would recommend that you strongly consider this company. We were able to save a lot of money by using most of our old cabinet boxes and building them up to the ceiling, then doing new doors. He worked hard for us down to the finish line, helping tweak last minute requests until we were finished! Wonderful company with wonderful people.

It was a pleasure having Cabinet Refinishing guide us through our kitchen project. Paul and his crew were absolute professionals throughout the process, keeping us informed, always on time, and maintaining a clean work area. A special thanks to Ginger for always giving us lots of options and making sure we loved the final product!
Great experience!

Great family owned business! Everybody we encountered was professional and courteous to all of our needs. Paul was exceptional and extremely responsive. They are so creative with their vision of what can be. They do incredible work from kitchen/bathroom cabinets and any other remodels. Would recommend 1000 times over

Paul and his team did a great job replacing doors and drawers in our kitchen and painting the cabinets. They made good recommendations and the crew were always courteous and cleaned up each day. I highly recommend Paul and team for any renovations.

We are so pleased with Cabinetry Refinishing! They did a refacing of our kitchen and replaced the doors and drawers almost 2 years ago. It still looks amazing! The process was so easy, reasonably priced, and their team did an excellent job!
Just recently, we needed to do a refacing of three bathroom vanities and we knew exactly who to call!
Paul Salter and his crew have “wowed” us again with their expertise and easy installation process. Don’t hesitate to call them for any cabinet needs and beyond!!

From our initial contact with Cabinetry Refinishing, we were impressed with their professionalism. They updated our kitchen and the end product was exactly how I had it pictured in my mind. Paul was always quick to respond to emails and text messages and worked with us to make our dream a reality. The sub-contractors were always polite, on time, and did an excellent job. We will definitely refer them to others.

Excellent company to work with. Paul gave us a wide range of options to fit our budget. Great attention to details and perfect customer service. You can’t go wrong with Cabinetry Refinishing Enterprises.

My kitchen was old and outdated. CRE replaced my cabinet doors and now my kitchen is BEAUTIFUL! I was nervous about picking out the cabinet color and style but Paul was very helpful with that process. The guys who painted and installed my cabinets were all friendly, never left my kitchen messy, and did a great job! Communication between Paul and us was good..he always let us know our job status and responded to our texts quickly. CRE worked within our budget and gave us a beautiful kitchen! I would highly recommend CRE for your cabinet projects.

We had the very best experience working with Paul and his team to update our kitchen.

Our kitchen is HUGE, but was designed in such a way by the original homeowners that it was much more ornamental than functional. Paul’s innovative crew was able to completely update the space to make it much more useable for us, including adding pull-out cabinet drawers and a trash bin cabinet. They also replaced all of our cabinet doors and added all-new drawers throughout the kitchen - and that too in record time.

We’ve worked with a lot of people in renovating our house, but Paul was undoubtedly the most meticulous, thoughtful, and patient of all our contractors. He was involved in the design and implementation process from the very beginning to the end, and was always available to answer our questions.

His team was just as hands-on and efficient. We had them change the paint color of the cabinetry half a dozen times, but there were no complaints or issues at all. They were keen to ensure that we got everything that we needed, even if it meant additional time and energy on their part. Paul was also able to get us connected us to a great electrician and appliance specialist.

We love our new kitchen and are so glad we chose Paul to help us redesign it. Would recommend to anyone looking for a crew dedicated to their work and very good at it. 10/10!

We used Cabinetry Refinishing to remodel our kitchen, laundry room, and master bathroom. We were highly satisfied with our whole experience. Owner Paul Salter was wonderful to work with. He was courteous, prompt to return phone calls, and texts, and all the subs he used not only did an excellent job, but showed up when they said they would and were trustworthy. They remained on schedule and lived up to what they promised. If you want someone you can depend on to do what they say, I would highly recommend them for any remodeling jobs you have.

Excellent team who did the work. Very professional, tidy & efficient. Explained what would happen that day & how long it would take. Its a process having a kitchen repainted, but they made it easy, quick & the end result is fabulous.

Paul and his crew did such an amazing job. They were very professional and respectful of my time and worked around my schedule.
I would definitely recommend them.

The CRE team was great to work with! They took our kitchen from an eyesore to a room we now love spending time in. They worked with us to make our custom cabinet ideas come to life and made functional space out of an area we never used before. We can’t wait to make so many memories with our growing family in our new kitchen!

We have been very pleased with Paul and his very capable team. Their meticulous attention to detail during our project has produced results far exceeding our expectations for cabinets nearing 30 years old. They also accommodated us by incorporating a decorative element and went above and beyond in their fulfillment of that request. Thank you!
We highly recommend this company.

There's a reason over 170 people have given these guys 5 stars. It was a pleasure working with Paul, Steph, and the rest of the crew. Professional from beginning to end, fair pricing, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our kitchen before they closed out our project. Excellent experience!

A friend recommended Cabinet Refinishing Enterprises (CRE) to me after I had a bad experience with a very unprofessional, difficult to communicate with cabinet company. CRE came in on short notice and did an amazing job building custom, wheelchair accessible cabinets. Paul stayed in constant contact and worked closely with the counter top company to get my cabinets completed. There were no delays and I never had any difficulty reaching Paul by phone or email. I could not have been more pleased with the quality of the work done or the price paid for the great looking, highly functional cabinets CRE installed. My favorite feature was the lazy Susan in the corner that provides very convenient access and maximum use of that space.

Paul and his team at Cabinetry Refinishing did an absolutely amazing job with our kitchen remodel! The whole process was smooth and Paul walked us through step by step. Cost was low but the quality was high. We loved the results so much we are getting them to come back and redo our master bath. Highly recommend!
