Beware of this business! This business sold and planted a magnolia tree for my Mom who bought it in memory of her brother. That was a year ago. The tree has struggled to live. We had an arborist out today who found the plastic bag still around the root ball and it still strapped. It was dying. We went to them based on these reviews. The arborist called to let them know and not even an apology to my Mom, let alone a portion of the very high cost in the first place. Very disappointed in this company.

Wow! Don and his crew managed to turn my out of control jungle of a backyard into a paradise oasis. Their work ethic and dedication to the project was exemplary. Don Gregorius, Taylor, Larry, and Travis are an awesome team. I am talking over 60 years of combined experience doing quality landscaping. These guys know exactly what needs to be done, how to do it, and get the job done on schedule. They completely restored over 2 acres of yard that was damaged by Hurricane Sally et al, plus new flower/plant beds and planting new trees. In addition, they are super personable and a delight to work with. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Belforest Landscsaping.

This review is for their Christmas tree lot, as it is owned by the landscaping company.

We arrived to the lot in early December with the hopes of purchasing one of their advertised $15-$25 Christmas trees(advertised by a large sign on the side of hwy 181). However, upon arrival, we were informed the only trees actually available for purchase were the Frasier furs at a much higher price. Since we were already there, we decided to get one of those. We chose a tree and the man told us it would be $70. He then tied it on our car while we put our children in their cars eats. Once it was time to leave my husband went to pay the man. He informed us it would be $90. So either he changed the price, tipped himself $20, or there is a $20 fee for loading the tree. Either way, we felt cheated and were very disappointed in this business. We will definitely not be back, and will warn all of our friends not to patronize this business with questionable practices.

Don is very knowledgeable about plants and worked with me to provide a design that was exactly what I wanted! He and his team were very professional, showed up and worked very hard to get the job done in a timely manner. It was obvious that they take great pride in their work!!

Our irrigation system had been greatly damaged as we had a circular drive put in--Don and his team worked so hard to salvage what they could and get the system working with the new landscape design.

They are responsible for creating the best landscaping in our neighborhood if not our town. Did excellent work at reasonable prices. Went above and beyond the call and had excellent customer service.

Belforest Landscape, with the expert guidance of owner Don Gregorius, has been an excellent company with which to work. Don is responsive and gets to our projects in a timely manner. He looks at our yard from a designer perspective and is very knowledgeable about what type of plantings will work and look good. He has also provided good feedback to our questions about the health of some of our existing plantings.

Our yard was already established with landscaping when we moved here, but we wanted to continue to make improvements. So far, Don and his crew have installed new flower/shrub beds, planted a variety of bushes and trees throughout our yard, planted grass (Empire Zoysia), moved existing evergreens to a different location, added a new irrigation zone, moved sprinkler heads, repaired a damaged irrigation line, added new gravel inside the fence around our pool mechanicals, and cleaned up our flower/shrub beds.

We have also contracted with Belforest for regular and ongoing maintenance of our flower/shrub beds with trimming, edging, weed control, and new pine straw twice each year. I have always had trouble keeping up with this myself, so I am delighted that our landscaping is professionally maintained by Belforest.

Belforest Landscape is a full-service company. We have not yet utilized all of what they offer, but they do landscape design and installation, irrigation installation and service, lawn mowing, and everything related to the yard. They are our go-to landscaper. It is comforting to know that whatever we need with our landscaping and yard, Belforest can handle it.

Don and his team bought my lawn back from the dead. We had a pool installed and my yard was a red mud dirt pit. His price was fair and even got it done faster than I was told. Thanks Don. We are enjoying our beautiful yard

Don completely redesigned our front yard last June. His vision for our landscaping, along with the caring and conscientious work ethic of his crew are exemplary.

Of the 400+ in the neighborhood, our yard received the coveted Yard of the Month award within a few months of their installation work.

Don has continued to follow-up with us, with calls and visits, to ensure we are satisfied with the project and plantings, and to educate us on the best practices for maintaining the beauty of the shrubs and the curb appeal of the yard. He fulfilled all if his commitments, and exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Belforest Landscaping!

Don and team did a bang-up job on a major yard re-do for me. This included scraping, leveling, filling of soil for my yard followed by new sod. They also removed and added over 60 plants and trees and general enhancements from time and Hurricane Sally.

I got several quotes and did a lot of research on the recommendations made. In the end I chose Belforest based on price, attention to small details and overall experience and knowledge. Once the project began it was like watching a ballet - the team works so well together! They were on time each day and some of the hardest workers I have seen. And such pleasant people! They take a lot of pride in their work and it shows. My yard is now a show-stopper.

Through the process Don also educated me on why he chose the grasses and landscaping he did and how to maintain them for longevity.

I am 100% thrilled with their work and can highly recommend Belforest Landscaping.

**UPDATE**
It is now about 3 months since the work was done and I have to say I have the thickest, most lush lawn I have ever walked upon! Don and team gave me instructions and tips to care for my outdoor investment and it has paid off in spades. Of the 60+ plants and trees planted 100% are growing and thriving. It is worth the wait to get on the schedule - these people do nothing except exceptional work at a competitive price and do it with exceptional care with also awareness of time commitments. I'm so proud of my yard - thanks to Belforest Landscaping and their experienced crew.

We were very pleased with the landscaping work performed by Belforest Landscaping. We would definitely use them for any future projects and would recommend them to others.

Our particular project had different components. Mr. Gregoris listened to our desires and answered all my questions. The plan involved sodding two lawn areas, installing a large flower bed to complement an existing bed, and installing additional landscape lighting. Belforest Landscaping met or exceeded my expectations and the job turned out beautifully.

We must also mention that Mr. Gregoris and his crew were all very courteous and professional. They addressed all our special requests and paid attention to all the little details which we appreciated.

Leftover stump with roots removed. Area leveled and cover with fresh sod.
Blends in with rest of yard. Crepe myrtle removed that had grown too close to house. Area leveled and covered with clean pine straw. Both areas look great!!

Great job by this team. Professional, kind and courteous. Planted crepe myrtles in my yard, which was as hard as concrete. But, with the help of “Bertha” their special shovel, they got the job done in no time. Would recommend this team to anyone who is looking for a great landscape company. They pay attention to details. 3/2/22 More Work!! After the work Don did last year on my drainage issue there was never a doubt who I would call to re-sod my front yard. Moved all the way up to Zoysia sod! Don was at my home and working by 0800. Don and his crew worked ALL DAY prepping the area. Next day sod arrived at 0730 then ALL hands were on deck. 9 pallets of sod were thrown before lunch. Final. pallet thrown after lunch and then they filled in some gaps and shaped everything around our sidewalks and driveway. After that the street, sidewalk and driveway were swept and blown clean. They were also respectful of our neighbors property and kept things tidy. If you are looking for Professionalism, Hardworking, On Time, Quality work at the right price. Belforest Landscaping is who you call! Thanks Don and the guys! If I need anything else done I will be calling you!

They installed a French Drain,re-sloped our yard and replaced sod. Did excellent work and I highly recommend this company! Give them a shot you will not be disappointed!
