Tree reviews in Daphne, Alabama

Wow the machine that showed up was amazing! These guys had a bunch of trees down in record timing. I even had a tree that was not easy to get to and they were able to maneuver around everything and get it down safely. I live on acreage and have used may tree companies and these guys were the best and had competitive pricing.

Big Green Tree Machine did an excellent job removing a tree from my yard. From start to finish, Gatlin and his crew were professional, promt, and easy to work with. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and took great care to avoid any damages to my property. I highly recommend Big Green Tree Machine.

We have hired Gatlin and his talented crew many times and referred him to others who have been satisfied with their work.
It’s amazing how carefully and strategically they work to remove any tree large or small. The Big Green Tree Machine is so cool to watch, I want to use it! Anytime we have spoken to Gatlin and his team they have always been cordial, polite and have taken great care with our personal property and our neighbors. He has also referred us to other contacts to assist with other residential needs. They won’t consider the job done until you are happy and services are complete. At this point, he’s like family.

Give him a call! You won’t be disappointed. Thank you Gatlin!

Terrific service. We had a huge dead tree in a neighbors yard which was starting to fall on our home; we needed it removed quickly before it crushed the house. Gatlin and Ronny came out quickly, were both extremely professional, knowledgeable and immediately recognized what needed to happen, shared exactly how they would do it safely and gave me a very reasonable quote (as well as being able to remove it early the next week) all with the permission of the property owner next door. We also used the opportunity to have them do some general trimming around the property, smaller branches. When they arrived to start, they had a pretty good sized crew, all in safety gear. Super friendly. They all worked very efficiently, everyone knew what to do and they were doing it. Everyone was very patient with me hovering a little and asking questions.
The piece of machinery they used was really impressive, easily half a million bucks for this contraption. After seeing it work in person, honestly I can’t think of a quicker or safer way to do everything they did today (I would imagine most services still use bucket trucks… much slower and more that could go wrong). Finally, they are fully insured and took all needed precautions to safeguard our home while all this was going on. Between that machine they use and all the help from the crew, the whole job took just under 4 hours including hauling it away and doing a thorough yard clean-up . Everyone else I got a quote from quoted for a full day and possibly into the next to do the same work. Do yourself a favor if you need some trees removed quickly and safely… call Big Green Tree Machine. You won’t regret it.

We had a large oak tree that needed to be cut quickly because it was leaning significantly towards our home. Gatlin came out the same day that I called him and provided a quotation and that was on a Saturday morning. His crew arrived on time as expected on Monday afternoon and cut that tree and did an excellent job. They removed all of the limbs, leaves and even blew the yard and driveway. I am VERY pleased with their service!

Had the big water oak in the back yard cut down since it hung over the house and had a lean towards us. The Big Green Tree Machine driven by Gatlin took that monster down in 2 1/2 hours! Going over our fence and neighbors with precision! It was amazing to watch! I could have sold tickets to watch! If you look at the stump in last picture and the size of my foot, you will see how big the tree was.

Gatlin and his crew are truly in a class of their own.
Nobody else could have done in under 3 days what they did for us in about 8 hours with a fraction of the level of risk of injury or damage.
Four towering pines looming over our home are now out of our lives forever, along with several other trees and countless limbs I had no chance to reach on my own.
As for the price…was more than reasonable. This was money very well spent!

We love our trees. We love our live oaks. A diseased water oak near your house is a bad situation for hurricane season. Our water oak has been dropping big limbs and my husband has fought keeping it cleared from the roof for years. Today we just took away our home’s risk and it only took 1 hour! 😳 Big Green Tree Machine, owner, Gatlin, and his crew were amazing. Really, one hour and completely clean street and yard. No yard or landscaping damage. Never came into our yard. Good price and so easy and nice to work with. 5 out of 5.

Gatlin and the guys did a great job. They were efficient, did exactly what they said they’d do AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, were very careful not damage any surrounding trees and landscaping. I wouldn’t consider calling anyone else.

The big green tree machine is amazing. Gatlin and his crew were prompt, professional and very reasonable. 5 Stars and a high recommendation.

Big Green Tree Removal and it's owner Gatlin Bertolla are flat out amazing. Started with me asking for a quote on a 40-50 ft Cedar and a 20 ft tall/6 ft diameter Oak Trunk to remove. Gatlin was over the next day. We shook on a price (no deposit) and said they would be back within 3 weeks. They were!
Showed up with the "big Green Machine" and removed the huge Cedar in 4 bites. Awesome to watch. They then cut down the Oak trunk and cut in in pieces. All was removed in a huge truck, with absolutely NO mess left.
Gatlin's father came in the same day and ground both stumps. Very fast, very professional. (Left me with a lot of good mulch :)

The additional thing that really impressed me was the crew that showed up to my house. Very professional, polite, and worked fast!!! Just a couple hours and they were gone. But, I spoke with the crew, and you could tell they really enjoyed their job, and raved about working for Gatlin. A great employer retains great people.
I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Big Green Tree Removal for any job. They were reasonably priced, provided outstanding work and were just great to work with.

Professional, punctual, efficient, qualified and leaves your yard in good shape. Great team work gets the job done with the right equipment and skills.

Troy, Rollie, and Crew were Class A professionals. They removed a massive Alabama Pine from our yard with efficiency and professionalism! Great job and Thank you!

Excellent work, they cleaned up really well afterward, and everyone in the crew was super nice and helpful. Definitely recommend!

I thought they did a good job until they got ready to leave. In the process of getting their lift out of my yard they managed to run into a container that was housing clay pots. They managed to break several clay pots and clay saucers. Then when I turned on my irrigation system, I found out they had dropped a limb on the trees in the front yard, and it landed on the irrigation riser bending it over, and causing it to no longer function. Would not use again, nor could I recommend them. .

Chris Francis Tree Care will now be the ONLY company I call for tree removal. I had a tree fall on my house, called the number at 5:30 PM, Chris personally came to my house around 7 PM, and by 2PM the following day the tree was off of my house and removed from the property. I cannot speak highly enough of the professionalism and hard work done by this company.

Grossly underestimated the time necessary to complete the job. After paying for an additional hour the trimming necessary was still not complete and we’re left with a stump. The crew was great but we have been left unsatisfied and will have to hire someone else to complete the job when we can.

This company has helped us in multiple ways. First, we have used them to do some projects for us personally, of which turned out great! We have also referred them to several of our clients, and received overwhelming gratitude from these clients for sending them to Chris Francis. First class work and service!!!

Super, the crew came in, very professional, eager to please !!! When the work was complete, they wanted to be sure we were satisfied... We were and it was the easiest invoice I ever paid. The work as beyond what I expected. We will use them again.

This company does excellent work. I'm a repeat customer and have always found them to be knowledgeable and professional. They aren't happy until the customer is!
