Had an appointment scheduled. Crew got here and said they could not do the work cause they needed in my neighbors yard (I was told that wasn’t necessary during then quote), also told me my gate might not be big enough, again during the quote told that wasn’t a problem. He said he could do it from my yard but it would take a couple hours vs 45 mins, so they could have done the work but chose not to. I took off a day of work, for absolutely nothing. So I lost money cause I didn’t go to work to have nothing finished, and a completely different story than I was told originally. Clearly don’t trust the information given during the quotes.
Update: they returned a week later and did the job. Destroyed my lawn, they had plywood but decided to just ruin my lawn. Was told the debris would be picked up same day it was not now closed for the weekend and a hazard in my neighborhood because you cannot see. They also did not clip a lot of the small limbs on my tree like they were supposed to. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. -
Prompt on giving estimate and doing the work. Did exactly what we wanted in trimming our trees. They were quick and efficient and cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommend.

I really had a Great Experience. They were on time. Courteous. And very professional. After cutting of the three trees the rubbished along with removed almost immediately. And cleanup was grande. Telecommunication were excellent too. Very happy and impressed. Thank you for a Service Well Done. Grateful. Blessings to you all.

I would not recommend Ace as my experience with them was based on misinformation and they did not perform the work we discussed. I held back a small amount when I paid them with a letter of explanation and asking him to contact me. We finally talked and he was insistent they performed as written on the contract. That is not true. The manager said, well they ground two stumps that weren't on the contract and that would make up the difference in what I had deducted. That was probably true but I wanted the trees trimmed, didn't really care about the stumps. Additionally, the estimator did not explain the job rate was different from the daily rate and the estimator told me straight up that the estimate was the same as their daily rate and i said if they get through then I have plenty more to cut. I agreed and signed the contract thinking all the trees would be trimmed. When they came to do the job, they were here just under 4 hours. When I questioned the time, they said thats all that was on the contract, but yet I paid the daily rate of $3,800 for 4 hours work... that's $950.00 per hour. My advice should you decide to use Ace is to make sure every tree or limb is written exactly as you want it cut and take pictures of everything before they start.

First, I hate leaving less than stellar reviews, but we can't in good conscience let this go. After we got the quote - $1900 to remove 2 mature white oaks - we scheduled Ace for 2 wks before Thanksgiving. We were pleased the crew showed up as scheduled, and both trees were cut down in less than an hour with no issues. That's where the good news ends. We were confused when they dragged the debris to the curb and began packing to leave. My husband caught the last guy - actually the one who quoted the job - and was told they'd schedule stump grinding for another day (more on that later), but the city would pick up the debris. That's not what we were told when they quoted the job. My husband called Ace Tree Removal's office and was told there was a misunderstanding, that Ace WOULD p/u the debris and P/U was scheduled for Wednesday Nov 20. No one showed. I called the next morning and was told they'd definitely be here that afternoon. Again no show. I called again the next day and was told they'd come the following Saturday. We and probably all our neighbors were awakened at 5:40 a.m. by the sound of their equipment, but at least the debris was picked up. They set stump grinding for Dec 6. We told them that wouldn't work due to our neighborhood Christmas event that day so they rescheduled for Dec 22. Then our neighborhood event - which includes horse & carriage rides on our street from 10a.m.-noon - was postponed due to rain and reset for today Dec. 20. To our horror, this morning right about the time the carriage rides started - we heard a racket in our front yard. Ace had shown up unannounced two days early and started grinding our stumps. I immediately texted our neighborhood association and apologized profusely. They were rightfully concerned the noise would upset the horse - the carriage goes right by our house - and they ended up ending the event early. Insult to injury, Ace left our tiny yard a mess. They barely made any attempt to tamp down or smooth out the mulch left from the stumps. $1900.00 for tree removal and we still have work and expense ahead of us to make it presentable. To say we're disappointed would be an understatement.

The guys that came by were super nice 👌
They did a excellent job 👏
The reason im giving 4 stars and not 5 is because of the communication with the office, called multiple times and got the answer machine and it took a long time for someone to call me back, but other than that it was a great experience with this guys!!! -
ACE really aced the job of cutting down a 250 year-old-tree on the property I live on. Their service was swift and safe! Kenny and Broderick were very friendly and knowledgeable about the process. I highly recommend ACE!
