Wow! A short time after the review posting today I got a call from DC Lawn. We discussed potential schedules…..I got my answer. Unbelievable….

I received a quote from DC Lawn and subsequently called to try and get an idea of when the work could be done. I was told that I had to sign the quote and PAY 50% DOWN in order to discuss any scheduling.

I explained that we travel a lot (sometimes outside the USA) and I just wanted to get an estimated timeline so I could get an idea of the timing. If I am out of town, I would fly back if in the states because I want to be at home while the work is being done. Plus, I could let them know that I would prefer to have the work done at another time if we were outside the USA. I would not hold them to any date given over the phone. I only wanted to understand their schedule and let them know if their dates would work for me.

I was told that I had to sign the contract and PAY 50% of the contract in order to have any scheduling discussions. I asked again if I could talk with someone about scheduling this job. I was told to leave my number and the scheduler would return the call.

I waited several days with no return call so I called again. I was told the same thing.

I told the staff at DC that I would not hold them to any potential schedule fully knowing that a timeline has to work for BOTH parties. I was again told this was their policy and no deviations. I asked if this was their final answer and was told yes....

Sooo, I ASK WHO WOULD SIGN A CONTRACT, PAY 50% DOWN WITHOUT HAVING A DISCUSSION ABOUT WHEN THE WORK COULD BE PREFORMED? Would you do business with a mechanic or contractor but have to sign a contract, pay 50% down to discuss potential timelines about when the work could be done? Scheduling work dates goes both ways....what works best for both parties.....not just the business.

I am astonished.......

We recently had a home run experience with DC Landscaping. Our courtyard was a total mess. So we decided to completely redo it.

We interviewed several potential companies and DC was our choice. Our decision was based on their professional, knowledgeable and friendly business attitude. They viewed our mess, offered suggestions on their plan and provide a schematic for us to review. After a few revisions, we decided to pull the plug.

My wife are recently retired after 30+ years of business management experience. We both have had Murphy Situations occur during our work tenure. Heck, Murphy will show up when you least expect it no matter how hard one develops a plan. However, it’s what you do after Murphy pops up to resolve the problem and keep your commitments to the customer. Well, Murphy invited himself to our party. Go figure🤔!

When this minor issue occurred on our project Daniel, the owner of DC met with us and gave us his personal commitment to resolve situation. From that point going forward DC took ownership to make things right. And the project proceeded without another bump in the road.

His crew were determined to keep their commitment to us. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and determined to do this job to our satisfaction. The back office staff also were very responsive and professional when we contacted them. This privately owned business is a very proud and honest business. They keep their promises to customers. What a novel idea🤠

So, overlook the pergola.

Bottom line. If you are looking for a great landscaping company, go with DC! You will not be disappointed….

In the first service by DC Lawn and Landscape for my property, I was not home. But, Kip called and introduced himself as my personal gardener. He proceeded to ask if there were areas of my property that I felt needed a specific focus. And shared with me his thoughts on a good approach for bring my property back to its best condition after a recent short period of inattention. I was very impressed with the results of his first visit and I look forward to watching the progression. Thanks, Kip, for all the attention to detail!

I've used DC for about a year now and my lawn is looking beautiful. I watched the guy that sprays my lawn for weeds today through the cameras and I really appreciated that he took the time to pick up all the kids and dog toys in the backyard and rolled my trash can down to my house. Its how hard they work when they think you're not watching them that matters to me.

I requested several quotes from top rated landscaping companies. Daniel with DC was the first to respond.
The crews they sent each day were very personable and professional. Jeremy did a great job on the Pergula, Bobby , Ray and Diego were precise on their quality of patio, grading and fence installation and Jake and crew were terrific with irrigation and plants/sod.
I also appreciate Clayton’s attention and visits to ensure the standards of quality where being met.
Though not inexpensive, I feel like I received more than I expected.
I highly recommend DC and they will be the only ones I use in the future.

I wish to let everyone know that is is one great company. Dan King did great on the design. Jake was the lead on the crew that did the work. He was very nice to deal with as well as all the crew members. He listen to my comments and was very happy to rearrange plants to my liking. Since they have done the work I will hiring them to do all landscaping, trimming and repair of my property. Thank you so much DC Landscaping.

We hired DC Lawn and Landscape when we were in a pinch, and they were able to provide an estimate for service the same afternoon I called. They have been servicing our yard for almost six weeks, and last week we finally had the chance to meet Lance, our team leader. He is doing a great job taking care of our needs. He is open and agreeable to our personal preferences, plus he always has a friendly smile and a can do attitude. What a joy!

We had a concrete pad and new sod in the front and back yards. Jake was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! He always keeps the client updated and does some amazing work!! He went over and above! I didn't know my yard could look this good. I added the before and after photos...it doesn't look like the same house. Thank you Jake and DC Lawn for your amazing job!

I've had DC out a few times for jobs small and large. They do an awesome job. I always feel like I got more than what I paid for.

Mike was just here for a real easy removal of some bushes, but he took the time to make the area look well groomed afterwards, added some pine straw, and made suggestions for the area after our windows are installed.

They were very understanding, and the get their work done fast. Each time I've called them, they respond same day and complete the work within a few days.

I highly recommend them.
