I have been very pleased this summer with the work provided by this company. The owner has been very responsive to my particular needs and attention to detail. Never been any arguing when I wasn't particularly happy with something, just a quick response and correction. Was able to get a quote over the phone with simple a simple description and a few photos.

Phoenix delivered gravel and sand to my home. He was prompt and very helpful. His service is ideal for delivery of bulk product where you don't need a full dump truck load.

Serviced my lawn for 5 months with no change in weed issues (pics included). Had problems with communication, quality of work, and customer service. When I complained I was told I was wrong and he doesn't do refunds. He even had a blade issue and scalped my lawn (which things happen) but he didn't even apologize he just told me it will grow back.

This is absolute worst lawncare service I have ever experienced in my life. We just moved to the area from out of state and I contacted Dukes to do our lawn. I was so excited about it. (Because I've always had good experiences with lawncare and even ended up becoming friends with the guys. However, Our service date had been pushed back a couple of times so I called (not angry) to find out the day of service and apparently my husband (unbeknownst to me) had also called for confirmation. The person who answered was upset that we both called to ask and made it known to my spouse. When they finally came it was almost dark. Like well after 7pm and by the time they finished it was dark. Our grass was overgrown and we were told the first fee would be $150 Which I understood. However, the guys obviously couldn't see due to the time of the day because our grass was poorly cut and rushed no edging done what so ever.. However, I didn't complain because I thought I will give them another chance on the 2nd cut. 2nd cut came yesterday and not only did they still not edge at all but they didn't even cut the backyard. There is no lock on the gate and I was home. Nobody knocked or rang a doorbell if they were having problems opening the gate. I have cameras to prove it. Yet they still charged $60 for a less than half job. (As a stay at home Mom and homeschooler I didn't notice in time.) We tried to contact someone and were told someone would get back to us, still haven't heard a word. RUN! We will take our business somewhere else. So disappointing. If I can figure out how to add photos I will post them. **Update** Photos have been added. Just look for the crummy ones. That's us! Smh! I also have video footage of the guys out there at night lol It was after 8p.

****Update**** I just today (2 months late) saw a reply from Dukes. Just to clear the air I didn't post 2 reviews out of "spite" I was struggling to upload my photos and videos so I tried again with my other account. However, I will say this. If this company had ever even called me 1 time to rectify this situation I would have happily deleted all comments or at the very least wrote an update and added a star or two back. Unfortunately, that never happened. If you look at my reviews history you can tell I'm not someone who typically writes bad reviews let alone 2 for 1 company. It happened unintentionally, but I'll leave my reviews as they are since you say I did it out of spite. Truly, the unprofessionalism here knows no bounds....

One of the best deals in the Huntsville area. Always on time and still popped into check on the yards condition during off season. Would definitely recommend if your looking for an affordable solution to long time lawn care. (Thanks duke, meant every word)

I needed to fix up the yard since the snow melted and spring is coming up. I happened upon Dukes Lawncare and decided to give 'em a shot. I must say it was the best decision I've made. He arrived earlier then expected and was very friendly and highly professional in his work. I barely even recognized my own yard after he was done. Honestly I'm blown away by the excellent job this man did. Also, I realize this is unrelated, but the man him self: the INTEGRITY this man has....wow just wow what a guy. I highly recommend his services to anyone who wants to get their lawns and yards ready for the warm weather. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Biweekly lawncare. Duke and his team did a good job mowing, edging and blowing my lawn clean for over 6 months. I was scheduled for Thursday services and when there would be delays (9/10 because of weather), he’d let me know. On serval occasions he even moved my trampoline out of the way when I’d forgotten to. Solid service, good communication, and reasonable pricing. Thanks!

The skilled technicians at Dukes Lawncare are absolutely joyful to be around. They install sod like absolute pros and also have the knowledge to fix anything they break on accident at no additional charge. It was an absolute joy to work with this company and I'm excited to have them come and do my yard weekly!

They don't pay their bills. They have blocked our office phone, my cell phone, and every staff member's phone in an effort to avoid a $7,000 bill. I'd rather not resort to airing this out on google, but it's unacceptable and any potential customer should understand the character of this organization. If you need a lawn care reference I've got 10 others you'd be better off calling. Just reach out.

Great and affordable service. Very reliable and professional. Much better then the cheapest competitor out there(Lawn Starter), which I had to cancel out. Our second year using this business, and will only use them until will get our own mower. 100% recommend.

In July 2024, I hired Duke's Lawn Care to maintain my lawn, as I was struggling to find the time to do it myself. Initially, I encountered some difficulty reaching them by phone to discuss my concerns regarding lawn edging and weed eating, as certain areas were not receiving proper attention. When I finally connected with them, I was informed that addressing these issues would incur additional charges. While I understand that services may vary, I found this frustrating since I had inquired about these services at the outset.

After a few more cuts with Duke's Lawn Care, I decided to explore other options and ultimately chose Green Earth Landscaping, which demonstrated excellent responsiveness and clear communication. Consequently, I canceled my services with Duke's.

Unfortunately, for the next three months following my cancellation, I continued to be charged, accumulating a total of $490.80. I attempted to reach out multiple times without success, and it wasn't until over a week later that I received a return call. During that call, I was assured that a refund would be processed. However, despite my patience, the refund never appeared on my bank statements.

I have made several attempts to contact Duke's Lawn Care over the past few months, but I have yet to receive a response or my refund. As of January 2025, I find myself compelled to leave this review, as all other avenues have been exhausted. I hope this feedback serves as a cautionary note for potential customers considering their services.

They do such a good job on my lawn and have been patient with my many requests to satisfy my HOA. I would highly recommend this landscaping company to my neighbors and friends and family!
