I have used this company several times. They are always professional and consistently do a great job. The owner, Adam Ragland always is on site to make sure I am happy with the job. Great company! Highly recommend.

We constantly strive to be completely accessible and do a wonderful job. However, it’s almost impossible to do the unthinkable things that today’s client expect you to do. In today’s business climate, some clients never give you the opportunity before they leave a terrible review. No patience, no understanding and no time to correct anything if there is a problem. We pride ourselves in doing one job at a time so that each client can have a wonderful experience and feel important. It’s unfortunate to receive 1 star reviews when clients will not give you the courtesy nor the time to work out issues that are beyond your control. When there is a problem and in the construction phase it’s possible, give your contractor plenty of time to deal with the situation understanding different variables are involved before getting online and hastily giving a terrible review. There are two sides to every story. Just food for thought.

Adam Ragland installed topsoil and sod in our back yard in May, 2021. The job was quite costly, $7,500. By July and August much of the topsoil and grass had washed away. I spoke with Mr. Ragland on August 18, 2021, to advise him of this problem, He said he would come by and look at the situation in a couple of days, and that the washing of the topsoil and grass was because of the rain we had received. Within days of speaking to him, we had an invasion of army worms that completely destroyed the remainder of the grass. Mr. Ragland never showed up. I asked him before he began the job if there was any possible way this lawn could fail, as I was hesitant to pay such an exorbitant price for the job. He advised me that keeping the lawn watered would be all that was required, which we did unfailingly. I realize army worms such as we experienced this year are not a very common occurrence; however, we would have appreciated his telling us that it was a possibility. The fescue grass that he planted for us appears to be particularly susceptible to army worms. We had a fairly nice lawn for two months, and now we have nothing. We never received a follow-up after the job to inquire as to the success of the planting, and he never showed up after the telephone call
in August. We would never use this company again and would not recommend them.

Adam Ragland worked with my neighbor and I to resolve a large slope retention issues between the two properties. Adam was professional, responsive, and patient as we investigated all our options. The weather cooperates during the excavation and work was completed ahead of the expected date. Work included removal of old lumber walls, excavation of soft ground behind walls .and repacking of slope with riprap.

RTL…Best Team Ever !!!

Responsive, punctual, flexible, dependable, open lines of communication, collaborative and customer focused. Not to mention customer inclusive and accepting as (being retired) I was an actively involved customer. But mind you, not that I needed to be.

I am overjoyed with my new back yard !!

From our initial planning discussion to selecting materials and through to job completion the process was smooth and stress free. As promised, my project was completed within a week (actually 4 days) and on budget. Every evening the team cleaned up behind themselves and once the project was completed you couldn't tell anyone had been here. Talk about professionalism. I now have a beautiful retaining wall, corner column, flagstone patio, fire pit and new sod. A true testament to RTL's focus on one job at a time.

Adam and the culture he has created puts the RTL team head and shoulders above all others.

Respect, patience, even-keeled demeanors, honesty, integrity and commitment speak volumes of the teams values. Values not only at the job site but by which they live their lives daily.

Adam continually lead by example and as a customer I appreciated feeling I was part of the team during learning moments. The RTL team will forever carry with them invaluable skills and work ethics.

To Adam and RTL team...you will forever be part of my family…I miss you already !!!
