I have had three separate appointments for a repair on my oven range and 2 of the 3 appointments the technician never showed up to my house. This has been over 2 months trying to get my oven serviced. Terrible scheduling system that has cost me three days of work just to NOT get my oven fixed. If you can find a different repair company I recommend using them, unfortunately I am stuck with them because mine is warranty work.

Do not use Sears Appliance Repair. Having the name'Sears' sounded legit, but I consider the service I received a scam. I was required to pay for the diagnostic service, replacement part, and repair labor up front. My 5yr old Maytag washer started working again, so I cancelled the repair. It took over 4 months to be reimbursed for the repair that did not occur. I had to go through my credit card company and file a complaint because Sears reported that they performed the repair. Needless hassle to hold over $500 for a repair not performed.

I was extremely pleased with the service I received on my Samsung refrigerator. I appreciated the text updates and reminders. Our technician Steve was the best! Courteous, knowledgeable, professional, personable , prompt, and fixed my problem in a timely manner. I couldn’t find a local Company to work on my Samsung fridge and crossed my fingers in using Sears repair. I can recommend them with the highest confidence and even bought the warranty program for up to 12 appliances!!
    Very pleased 😃

Schedule a service with them and after a two week wait no one showed for the repair despite multiple text and emails confirming!

Sears HR diagnosed repair on 6/6/25. Cost = $549.58. Could not afford. Today quote for same issue = $802.07! Sears would not honor previous quote; MORE UNaffordable than before. Repair NOT performed. Offered home warranty at $55/mo to reduce price to $668.58. Paid $119 each diagnosis = ($238).

We’ve had our washer and dryer for 5 years. Still going strong. The tune up for the washer was preventative but our dryer had been acting up for awhile now. The tech from SEARS took apart the machine and got the lint out that we couldn’t, fixed the line so the air flow works better and suggested we get an hvac te h out to snake the output. Seems like it’s working good now, still waiting to see if one cycle will dry the load.

Total rip off. Provided all the information to the link provided prior to appt to avoid showing up without part. Waste of time, tech had no clue I already provided. Walked in, informed me he did not have part, which I already knew ,then informed me 60 dollars for a part and almost 400 to change the part that will take less than 10 minutes to change. What a scam! Could not speak to a real person, only AI. Do not recommend!

We paid $119 to get the problem we are having with our ice maker. We were not able to remove the ice bucket. We did what he said to do and we still can’t get it out. He thumped on the ice bucket a few times and said it was a glob of ice. That being said, we are not happy and we are at the same point we were before paying the $119. Other that he was professional and very nice. We just wanted to our ice maker to get fixed.😞

3rd time is the charm. Final got the washer fix with parts not arriving timely. Appointment canceled the day of the appointment 2 or 3 times. The company overall need some serious work. The Technician has been friendly and really want to fix the issue. But some guess at what's wrong or if assign new tech he might not agree with the first on what should be replaced. It took almost 4 months to get the washer fixed. If it didn't work OK enough this would have been a major issue. Even the warranty company that hired them was no help. Quick to take my money but slow or non existence to issue refund for long wait times...

Edit***I did receive my refund. I'm still not happy, I had to purchase a new washer.

I would give them a zero if I could. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with. We were told they could come out today (12/24) to finish fixing the washer. We questioned and questioned about it being Christmas Eve. We were assured they were coming. All week we have received updates about the parts and appointment. Today we get a text that we need to reschedule for the next available time (1/3). Seriously!! I've called and can't talk to management. I had to prepay. So now I'm out money and my washer is still broken. Don't worry I'll get my money back. I'll let everyone I know don't ever use you for repair services.

I’ve buy Sears products for many, many years and used their service folks and had good results but I’m done with them. I requested service a couple months ago, they sent a guy, I told him I had issue but he had showed up to do an assessment (which of course cost me over $100) not what I wanted. But he did his part and said I could call back in a month or so and they would come and fix it at no charge because what I paid for was some kind of warranty. So I called back and they sent a guy who came and did another assessment and said what I already knew and it would cost me over $500. I told him I thought I had some kind of warranty but he said I had nothing and I had to either pay for the assessment of the work. I decided not to pay for the work, I can get a new washer for as much as it would cost me to fix it. So disappointed in Sears. They used to take care of their customers. I won’t be buying me a Kenmore again.
