I had the pleasure to work with Dukes Lawncare. The team expertly felled a tree that was between two neighboring fences on a hillside.

I am extremely happy with the work and the deal I got from the company. They were creative, approachable, friendly, and above all great communicators. I told the team that I was looking into my own chainsaw and they went above and taught me how to safely use theirs, tighten a loose chain, and about regular maintenance. The Dukes Lawncare team was punctual, hardworking, and a pleasure to work with.

In July 2024, I hired Duke's Lawn Care to maintain my lawn, as I was struggling to find the time to do it myself. Initially, I encountered some difficulty reaching them by phone to discuss my concerns regarding lawn edging and weed eating, as certain areas were not receiving proper attention. When I finally connected with them, I was informed that addressing these issues would incur additional charges. While I understand that services may vary, I found this frustrating since I had inquired about these services at the outset.

After a few more cuts with Duke's Lawn Care, I decided to explore other options and ultimately chose Green Earth Landscaping, which demonstrated excellent responsiveness and clear communication. Consequently, I canceled my services with Duke's.

Unfortunately, for the next three months following my cancellation, I continued to be charged, accumulating a total of $490.80. I attempted to reach out multiple times without success, and it wasn't until over a week later that I received a return call. During that call, I was assured that a refund would be processed. However, despite my patience, the refund never appeared on my bank statements.

I have made several attempts to contact Duke's Lawn Care over the past few months, but I have yet to receive a response or my refund. As of January 2025, I find myself compelled to leave this review, as all other avenues have been exhausted. I hope this feedback serves as a cautionary note for potential customers considering their services.

Pretty Good selection, but so much now just simply costs too much.
It's such a shame. I love going to the garden center.
    2nd visit. Still expensive.
3rd visit, got what I needed. Still hoping prices will come down.

Good selection of plants. Staff was helpful and friendly. Easy to get around the nursery. Appears to be well maintained and plants were generally healthy.

It is an amazing place to buy all of your plant and flower needs from and they have some beautiful pots and outdoor decorations! You won't be disappointed and the owners are some pretty awesome people also !

Finally found the local nursery we were looking for. Family owned, friendly and knowledgable staff, and great advice for our backyard flagstone project. So glad we found someone to work with for all of our future projects and plants.

    Nice place,lots of plants, etc.
But didn't have several of the plants I was looking for.

We've had some good interaction. They reduced their guarantee on trees to six months. Ill look elsewhere for trees.

I will agree with a couple of reviews that I have seen that the staff are nice, but last summer we purchased two matching decorative shrubs for a reworked shrubbery bed. The items were planted and watered well the same day that they were picked up. They were regularly watered through the summer. In a couple of weeks, one of the shrubs had already started to brown. When we contacted the nursery, they said that their plants had no warranty and suggested watering the roots better.

Despite watering, well through the summer, as other plants are beginning to re-emerge for this year, both of these are now brown and dead. Not beginning to grow for another season. For over $300 dollars between the two plants, I will go to another dealer, even if the selection is different. Plants should grow when properly planted and watered, not turn brown quickly. Fall and winter were wet. All our other plants are green and growing, but not these two special plants. Still brown and dead.

Great service and selection! I've made enough trips to haul 40tons of river gravel for my in-ground pool landscaping and they have provided the best customer service. I highly recommend.

Locally owned and very knowledgeable. Enjoy just looking around at garden decor. Variety of plants as good if not better than big chain stores. The staff will help you get your treasures in your car. Shop local always

This place is great! They have a huge selection of trees, shrubs, and plants, and friendly and experienced staff to tell you all about it all. They also have mulch, dirt, rocks, decorative stuff, and so forth. Support your locally owned, non-chain store business!

Idk who the short lady is with all the attitude but I didn’t appreciate her insinuating my mother was a liar when I said she had left behind a plant. Very unprofessional.

Bought 6 plants a couple weeks ago and at this point, 4 of them are dead. They were watered during this time and treated for insects, but they just withered away. They look diseased. Needless to say, we won't be going back and spending money on sub-par plants. Can't believe we spent $50 on weeds. Would have been less effort to just throw a $50 bill in the trash.

Great selection, and good looking plants, but they have always been a little short of friendly. The first time I stopped by with my son, (2 years old) they stuck to me like I was a professional shoplifter. We were looking at a fountain, and they actually scolded him for reaching for the water! I was holding him for crying out loud! I got the impression that the don't want children inside, so I will take my business elsewhere. The Enchanted Forest isn't that far from here, and are always friendly.

Very nice place with amazing staff. I had the pleasure of meeting a husband and wife duo. In the beginning i was being helped by Tracy.Extremely knowledgeable and patient. I met her husband when it was time to load the mums in my vehicle. He helped with rearranging my groceries so one mum can fit inside while his wife was placing the second one in having my 5yr old help her. What sealed the deal was when Tracy tried to strap my son in his booster seat for me while i strapped in my 2yr old. I HIGHLY recommend this place and i def will be returning😁

During the summer of 2023, I dedicated nearly $2,000 towards enhancing the greenery around our newly acquired residence in Athens, AL, specifically investing in a variety of plants from Reseda. Within this collection, we acquired nine splendid Emerald Green Arborvitae. Regrettably, a few weeks ago, one of these trees began to show signs of deterioration.

Upon reaching out to Reseda with my concern, they promptly gathered my information and forwarded it to the owner, Nathan Smith. Mr. Smith wasted no time in responding, promptly calling me to attentively listen to my issue. Without hesitation, he conveyed his utmost understanding and assured me that he would address the problem.

True to his word, within a day, a member of his team arrived at my residence with a new replacement tree. Not only did they provide a swift solution, but they also took the initiative to remove the ailing tree and plant the replacement on my behalf.
