Pool started off a bit slower than we were told due to supervisor issues. But once Brian Heathcoe took over everything progressed and was done in a timely manner. Brian is absolutely the one you want in charge of your pool build. He has went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we were happy with the outcome!!!!!! His work ethic and customer service skills are rare in this day and age! Again he is absolutely the one you want to build your pool with blue haven!

The good and the bad, my honest review in all regards. Day 1 was Brian Heathcoe's first start to finish as project manager and he has been amazing. He communicated where we were every step of the way. He is great at following up and friendly. If he didn't know the answer to something, he would find out. I see Brian as a friend at this point, we have talked many days in the past 9 weeks.
The pool itself turned out beautifully. I was very happy with the paver layout and decking. That team deserves many kudos as they are quick, fairly precise and effective turning deck out in a day.
Now for the bad, a subcontractor called Sodscapes seems to be challenged with timely effectiveness. What should have been a half day job for rough grade took 3 days and me requesting them to fix things. Day 1 their worker got his equipment stuck and ended up pulling it out with his truck damaging my fence gate. It currently doesn't close anymore. I am aware the contract reads Blue Haven isn't responsible for this type of damage, but nonetheless, this was caused by a sub.
Next the gunite team and plaster team worked diligently and I do appreciate there work. Unfortunately there are a couple quirks I would like Blue Haven to fix as this is a large project and I want to say it's perfect as perfect as construction can be. There is staining under my jet in the pool that's not come out after brushing for a week and the drain appears to be sitting in place with no caulk securing it. I believe Brian will address these things and because I have faith in him, I am not super concerned on the drain part. Hopeful the stain comes out of the plaster.
I must also mention that Darryl in sales, John in operations, and Chance coming from MS office have all be very kind and valuable. I appreciate all of the Blue Haven staff that I have encountered and looking forward to many years of enjoying our new pool.

Just finished our pool about a week ago. The entire process was great. Our pool contact Brian got the job done on time. Communicated well and worked very hard to ensure the pool was complete on time. You never know how a project like these will go. having Brian lead the project made it really enjoyable. Communication is key. Final pool result is amazing.

From start to finish our experience with blue haven was amazing! After completing our pool 2 weeks sooner than they told us it came out better than we could imagined. Tad was our project manager and was super amazing and helped us with everything we needed plus. I’ve heard from other people in the area of nightmare jobs from other pool company’s and I can say save yourself the headache and call blue haven first.

A+ customer service and experience with Blue Haven pool technician Brian. Superb response time and knowledge. Repaired pump filter board and gave me an awesome pool school on my Blue Haven pool. Will definitely use this company as well as Brian for all future needs for this pool.

We just finished our pool and deck, and only have final grading left, but it’s beautiful. Brian did a great job pushing our pool along for us. I would highly recommend him as a project manager. He did a great job communicating with us as well. Overall it was a great experience.

We just completed installing a Blue Haven saltwater smart pool. The entire process was a very positive experience. All contractors were professional and knowledgeable. The final result is absolutely gorgeous and such a wonderful family entertainment area.

We are happy with Blue Haven pools from our salesperson, Kelly Wright, to our project manager, Tad Hurst, and those that were the labor crews that got the pool built. We dealt with Tad the most and he was very patient when we had any & all questions, he responded in a timely fashion and he did follow up calls even when he didn’t necessarily have to. Tad has gone above and beyond and we appreciate his service. Our project started with the dig Sept. 22nd and ended with pool school around Nov. 14th. There were a few days where no work was done due to weather and crews on other projects but for the most part this project was completed in a timely manner.
We recommend Blue Haven pools.

Our project manager Brian Heathcoe was a pleasure to work with. The reason why a 5 star review is appropriate is because of him. The entire pool process was very challenging and stressful.Brian was on top of everything and did whatever he could to help and escalate issues. He answered promptly all of my calls and texts. It was a pleasure working with him. The pool came out very nice. We worked through small issues and I am very happy with the results.

We are still working through a final grade issue where they left a ton of dirt. The dirt is so high it’s covering our irrigation system and pushed our fence off the posts. Brian has been doing everything he can to get contractors back on site to remediate. I will be very happy when they repair the fence and remove the dirt !

Our project manager Brian Heathcoe was great to work with. Some of our pool process was complicated but was out of Brian’s control. Brian always answered all of my calls and texts in a timely manner. He was a pleasure to work with. They had a lot of employee turn over during our build which was extremely unfortunate. Brian did his best to keep us informed of our process and the hold ups. They did not want to install the deck jets that we initially ordered and then charged us more for each one later in the build. They were the same deck jets that were advertised on the website and social media. Brian understood exactly what I wanted and he made it happen. Brian is an asset to Blue Haven for sure! Without him we wouldn’t be finishing our process.

We are still working through some issues. They hit our brick wall that in the delivery instructions it said to not turn into that entrance . We are waiting for that to be repaired . We also have some loose deck tiles that need to be addressed and we have expressed that concern as well . The five stars are for Brian for sure!

Great service and Dedication from Brian Heathcoe. We are happy with our new pool, and Brian was instrumental in making sure the final result was decent.
While large construction projects inevitably come with challenges and unforeseen issues—which were completely outside of Brian’s control—his performance was outstanding. Brian took ownership of the entire process, ensuring that problems were addressed.
He maintained clear communication, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and was committed to the highest quality outcome possible. He never let the bumps in the road derail the overall project, and he worked hard to ensure everything is being completed. We still have damage to our house that hasn’t been fixed.
However, Blue Haven did charge us a lot of money to haul off dirt and in the end they had to bring it back because they underestimated how much they needed to finish the job. This left our backyard a mess and delayed our ability to lay sod for weeks. They did not offer a refund for the dirt they charged us to remove and then brought back. They left piles of trash all over our yard for weeks. I also feel like some of the craftsmanship of the subcontractors was less than par for what it cost us. Especially with the installation of the pavers. Many are uneven and lose. They also never came back to trim the pipe that became a trip hazard for my kids even after asking them several times so my husband ended up cutting it himself.
While we appreciate everything Brian has done for us we feel like Blue Haven has dropped the ball on this project and we are still waiting on repairs weeks after it should have been completed. We have no date set to fix the hole they put in the cement board in the back of our house.

Great experience with Blue Haven. Loved our project manager Tad. He kept us fully informed throughout the process. Our designer was Kelly and he was fantastic during the design and contracting. My only minor disappointment was picking the tile/plaster. They were in the middle of moving their showroom so I didn’t feel like I had access to really see all the tile options, not to mention it was an hour away so was inconvenient.

We chose Bluehaven after having 3 other pool builders giving us quotes. With Bluehaven from the start to completion the service was superb Aimee the sales lady was full of knowledge and help and suggestions to help us choose what we wanted she set up for the team to call us and set the date and what to expect during the build. On the day of the build we were met by the star of the show Tad (pool manager) who went through everything with us before they started to make sure everything was as we wanted. The build went exactly to plan all the contractors were superb clean tidy and did a fantastic job and Tad kept in touch throughout. On completion our yard was cleared and put back in pristine condition.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Bluehaven to anybody.
