I recently had a new air conditioning unit installed by Harrison Heating and Air, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They took the time to assess my home’s needs and recommended the perfect system to keep things cool and efficient.

The installation process was smooth and completed on time. The technicians were punctual, respectful, and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left.

A technician showed up within an hour of me creating the work order with the rental property we are leasing. He was very thorough with his investigation and troubleshooting of the problem. The tech left to go get parts and returned 40 minutes later, completed his work and got our AC cooling the house off again. I definitely recommend Harrison. I was impressed with how quickly the issue was resolved and grateful as well with it being in the middle of the summer.

Very satisfied with their professional service. It took only about 1.5 hrs for Ricky and his coworker to arrive from the time I contacted them. With the super hot summer sun, they are a lifesaver. Showed and explained to me how to do some regular maintenance. One wire was burnt with our unit and some freon was refilled. Immediate results of cooling down. The charge appears to be quite reasonable.

Gavin and Dustin came shortly after my call regarding my system being down. They performed the necessary maintenance to determine my 20 + year old system needs replacing.

This company has been great. They explained everything in detail and gave clear options on what was needed to fix. Always a great experience.

I highly recommend them. They replaced a breaker in my breaker box a few months back and today they came and fixed an emergency leak. A outside water faucet pipe faucet that I accidentally broke. I am very grateful for their service and their prices are very reasonable. I definitely will make them my place of business for any future home repairs.

Harrison Heating & Air came out in June, fixed my AC, and installed a new control pad. But the control pad was set up in a way that didn't logically make sense (to me, and I daresay the average Joe). So when the cold hit I couldn't get my heat to work. They came out, immediately figured out what was going on, explained it to me, set it up (the way that made sense to me), and didn't charge me for it.

There are many HVAC companies out there. If you want one that'll take care of you, I'd pick Harrison Heating & Air. I've been using them for the past 8 years or so.

Techs are most often sent the same day of the service call. They are knowledgeable, skilled, polite, and clean up after themselves. Prices are very reasonable.

A+ 5 star service and hands down the friendliest guy I’ve dealt with! I called this company by mistake, I’m up in Canada and when I googled a local company with the same name I mistakenly call the Alabama number. I realized my mistake and told the gentleman sorry for wasting his time. He offered to help troubleshoot my furnace over the phone anyway and stayed on the phone with me for over 10 minutes and walked me thru how to troubleshoot it. He figured it out on the phone and I was able to fix the issue with an old thermostat I had laying around. This gentleman was unbelievably nice and helpful. Couldn’t be more thankful for his help!!!

Dustin was super on time, professional, helpful, informative. Fixed the gas issue immediately & even checked to make sure my upstairs neighbors were good when he noticed an issue w/their gas meter.

Wonderful work from these young men! They were thorough, communicated what they were doing step-by-step and my unit is now working properly. I highly recommend them!

I called because my hvac unit needed Freon and got an appointment for the next day. I received a text when they were coming. Mitchel was very polite and knowledgeable and quickly got the job done. He also did a quick inspection. I also signed up for their hvac inspection plan which was very reasonable. I highly recommend Harrison Heating & Air you won’t be disappointed.

We tried a competitor before we tried Harrison and they rushed through the job and didn’t fix it. We decided to give Harrison and try and they took their time figuring out the problem and fixed it quickly. The techs were so polite and explained everything to us. Definitely recommend this company.

My old review from a few years ago: A colleague recommended Harrison Heating a few years ago when my A/C unit broke and I could not be happier with his recommendation. This company is easy to work with--especially if you hate playing phone tag and just want to text. They are friendly, responsive, and I trust them.

My updated review after a pre-summer tune up (March 2024): Still love Harrison Heating & Air's service! I can't say enough good things about this company.

Another updated review (Nov 2025): they came to my house within a few hours of me texting. They came back the next day to replace a hose bin. They were friendly and professional and even brought my trash can in from the street

Another updated review (December 2025): I had a very odd sized oven that the previous owner installed. I can't tell you how much time I spent trying to find a replacement and failing. I was also worried about cabinet work to make it look nice even if I could find an oven. I went to Home Depot, I went to a more custom kitchen store, I called and texted and emailed home contractors and cabinet people and no one could or would help me. Then I texted Blake Harrison and they sent someone out the same day to get the process started measuring. They even gracefully came out a second time to measure then I finally ordered the oven. They arrived right on time for installation. They (Ricky and his co-worker) continued their problem solving skills and professionalism and made the oven work while moving a gas line. I cannot recommend this company enough! In addition, they are so responsive when it comes to scheduling via text. They make life easy <3

Very pleased with their service. They were at my house very promptly after my my call and went right to work. They found the cause of my leaking air conditioner and unclogged the drains. The technicians were very courteous and the price for the work was very reasonable. I highly recommend Harrison Heating and Air.
