Reviews of local pros in Moody, Alabama

This company cares about your trees and the things that are growing or living around them. We had some tree trimming done last year and recently had a check up visit. Their prices are more than reasonable and their expertise is invaluable to us.

I have a lot of trees and we have had several companies out to look at them before deciding to eliminate and prune them. I was beyond impressed with the arborist and their service. They did a wonderful job, taught me so much about the trees in my yard and provided great customer service.

Really outstanding experience with Adam – he was incredibly knowledgeable and showed not only what to look forward to keep our home safe from week and ailing trees, but also used his wealth of knowledge to share his passion for saving trees that really shouldn’t be cut down. I learned a lot and look forward to working with him again!

I'm happy with the work the Arborist did to help my tree fit into my yard in a better way.

For 4 yrs straight my 12 yr old crepe murtle tree has been loosing its leaves mid summer. I thought it was a disease causing this. I called and talked with Adam. He suggested that I check the PH. My PH was very low so I added lime to my yard which raised my PH. It's now August and the leaves are growing back, replacing the ones that had fallen. Many thxs to Adam for the info given over the phone. My crepe murtle and I thank you!!!!!

From start to finish my experience with The Arborist was great and will definitely recommend them. I will use them again when and if I need. My neighbors were also impressed and met them to get quotes as well. 6 pines cut down, ground stumps and hauled away everything fast. They had a great attitude and take pride in the work they do. Awesome job and thanks.
Also the lady that answers the phone was a pleasure to talk with as well.

This is the tree service I have been looking for! Adam evaluated the trees on our lot and told me which ones needed to go and the ones I didn’t need to worry about. His crew arrived on time, did the work with professionalism, and did a great job of cleanup. I will definitely use them next time we need tree work done.

Adam came out to estimate a tree trim to shape up a 40+ year old maple. After some inspection he explained why the tree was not healthy and the danger it presents leaning toward the house. Together we agreed that the tree needs to be removed. He gave me options of removing with and without a bucket truck. All in all it was a good meeting, discussion and experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Adam to friends and neighbors.

Highly recommend The Arborist! They are extremely professional, hard working, experienced and knowledgeable! Within minutes they diagnosed anything and everything regarding all the trees behind my house and did away with all the excess limbs over hanging my fence. Amazing job!

The Arborist is a great company to work with! They removed three trees and trimmed limbs from other trees for us in March 2023. They were prompt, pleasant to interact with, cleaned up their work area nicely, and finished the job in a timely manner.

In December 2023, we had several trees blown down in a tornado. We called The Arborist at 7 am on Sunday morning. They said they would be at our house in an hour - and they were! They worked hard and long hours over many days to get our situation taken care of. They also helped many of our neighbors too. The men went out of their way to help us, even doing many things other than removing the fallen trees.

Their team is made up of good and caring people who do a great job! We highly recommend The Arborist for evaluating trees, taking down trees, and doing a wonderful job!

Thanks so much, Adam, James, Rob, and the whole crew!!

The Arborist provided us with fantastic service and we would highly recommend their company! Our family was packed and nearly out of town when a huge limb from our oak tree fell, crashing through the roof and ceiling of our home. The Arborist was responsive to our call on a Friday afternoon and within hours they had a crew and equipment mobilized to quickly and safely remove the massive limb, and stack it neatly for haul off without tearing up the yard. They helped to coordinate with a roofer, and with their assistance we were also able to protect our home from weather before leaving. They were also helpful communicating with our insurance company. Thanks to the Arborist and their crew, we were able to move through a stressful situation with ease, and leave to enjoy our much anticipated vacation with peace of mind. We are very grateful.

Had a dang bradford pear split and was on top of my truck. We destroyed the whole tree & was off my truck, hauled off in just a couple hours. Will use again hopefully for different reasons.

I had previously tried to hire this business and we had some miscommunication. My review here was not pleasant, but accurate.

A year passed..I had some more work to be done. I contacted The Arborist again to get a quote. I want to invest my money in my community. Keep it local and such.

Every appointment was made. I wasn't treated poorly for my prior review here on Google nor given some unfair price as retribution for prior dealings.

The work done is quality and I had far more people than necessary speak with me about my thoughts about the job done. Fine business with good folks coming to your residence to represent it.

God Speed! I appreciate your work and effort.

Adam Lyons came to our home a few days ago to give us an estimate on a tree removal. He was very honest, professional and went above and beyond to explain what he could and couldn't do in regards to the tree removal.

Upon inspection of a tree limb hanging on the wire, he was honest in saying that either the power company or phone company is responsible for removing the limb since it was a "live" wire, per OSHA regulations.

He gave us the appropriate plan of action to have the limb removed from the "live" wire. We truly appreciated his sincere concern to rectify the issue.Thank God for Adam and his expertise .

I encourage everyone to give them a call.

We hired this company to do an extensive amount of tree work for 2 full days. The service was outstanding from estimate to completion and clean up. The men were extremely polite and professional and our trees look amazing. Robert was very nice and made sure everything on the estimate was done and then some. He even saved 2 baby squirrels that were hiding in the hollow dead tree! I highly recommend The Arborist for any tree work you need done. I am beyond pleased with the entire process.

The Arborist did a great job! Very communicative and knowledgeable. The Crew came out and took down a massive pine hanging over the house. They took care of things methodically and safely. I would definitely recommend them for any future tree work big or small.

I have Japanese maples in my yard. Mark the owner, was going home and stopped since I was in yard. He suggested several insecticide which I purchased. My trees have bag worms and I had run out of ideas. Talked with Mark again and he treated them with something different. I have met his wife and they are both awesome. Need anything with cutting trees to doctoring greenery he can do it. He is a true Arborist.

Adam came by and gave me a quote the same day I called, and his crew had the dead tree taken down the very next week. They were incredibly informative, responsive, and did a great job cleaning up the mess. Nice folks, and I thought the price was very fair as well. Would 10/10 recommend the Arborist to anyone!

The Arborist did an amazing job taking down multiple trees and cleaning up our property. Adam completed the initial evaluation and estimate for us. He was super knowledgeable, explained everything in great detail, and helped us make informed decisions on what trees did and did not need to come down to protect our home. The crew completed the work in a timely manner and took great care of our property in the process. Whether you know a tree needs to come down or want an expert to look at some for you, I would strongly recommend you give The Arborist a call.

Nice guys and they did a great job. I will definitely contact them for any future tree work.

They did a great job. The price was good, the guys were professional, and the clean up was excellent. Definitely recommend!
