Jon and Chandler came to help us with a kitchen light and changing bulbs too difficult fir us to reach. They called ahead a time to let us know when they were coming and came just as they said. They were knowledgeable and professional in how they communicated and completed the job. They kept us Informed as they made their assessment and completed the work. We were very pleased and will definitely use this service again.

Jon and Will had me up and running in no time at all. They were very friendly, professional and on task. Their rate was quite reasonable compared with other companies I have recently used. In fact, I had to call them out to finish a job another contractor gave up on. They handled it in record time. Very pleased. I will use them again.

Scott came out on time with a courtesy call to let me know he was on his way, and had one ceiling fan fixed and another fan replaced within a couple of hours. As respectful and professional as he could be, with very fair prices (check online for any coupons to help a bit more). Wendy, who I talked with to schedule the appointment, was very helpful and down to earth as well. I would definitely recommend Advanced Electrical to anyone needing electrical services done, as I can think of no complaints.

Edit: A couple of years later, Jon came out to install a ceiling fan in a different room and to replace that switch as well. As with Scott, Jon was courteous, efficient, and as nice as he could be.

On two occasions in the last two weeks, Nate from Advanced Electrical provided superior service and advice in installing 4 fixtures and recommendations for future electrical changes. I wish there were more people who are as conscientious as he was in understanding our requests and walking us through the changes. Thanks, Nate!

I have used Advanced Electrical for a variety of electrical installations, repairs and upgrades to the house and now that they are offering it I have used them for HVAC services. Every time they have helped at our house it has been with great results!

Adam has been the one who has come and helped at the house, even providing the central air conditioning repairs. I can't say enough good things about Adam. He has been polite, knowledgeable and always fixes the problems or gives us the upgrades with great results.

Most recently Adam has fixed attempted home repairs which needed a more professional touch and knowing he was coming to the house filled us with confidence that things would be fixed quickly and correctly.

So happy that Mark Anderson, the owner, has Adam working or him.

Adam is very knowledgeable and skilled at his craft. He took the time to come out speak with us about out fixture installation. We had some questions about installation on low ceiling walls and he happily took the time to answer our questions. He worked hard to install all of our fixtures in various rooms and from the time he entered our home, he treated it as if it were his own home. He always responds in a timely manner and works hard from the moment he arrives to our home. He’s one of the best technicians around town!

My house built in the early 70's needed to be brought up to modern electrical code. Estimator came out quickly, and I had a quote by the next working day (considerably lower than my other two estimates). They scheduled my service about a week and a half later - coordinating with AL Power to insure my power was restored by the end of the day. It was a two day job completed on time. My service guy, Nick, was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. He spent a long time explaining the repairs to me in terms I could understand. Request him by name :-) This was the easiest house upgrade I have ever done. Thanks!

My home was heavily damaged in a tornado in Mtn Brook on Dec 9. The storm tore all my electrical wiring off the house. I called Advance based on some recommendations from some linemen working in the neighborhood. Glad I did. John came out within 2 hours and saw the job would be demanding. He called in reinforcements, and they had me up and running quickly. The guys that fixed me up were John, Matt, and Will. All three were extremely professional, friendly, and efficient. I highly recommend this company.

Matt and Will were here yesterday to install a large new overhead LED light and a dimmer switch in our kitchen to replace our old fluorescent dinosaur and they did a great job! Great guys and they worked well together and did quick work. Really appreciate it! I think this is the third time we have needed Advanced Electrical to help us and each time they have done a great job. Thanks again!

Hello, I was very impressed with Advanced Electrical. I experienced a very kind, honest and professional staff. Mark provided the consultation and thoroughly explained what was required to replace a plastic outlet box with a metal box and stabilize the foyer chandelier (very high ceiling). I appreciate him suggesting LED dimming spot lights for the dining room, which will prevent switch plates getting warm. His job quote was very reasonable.

On 5/15/24, technicians, Jon and Blake replaced, stabilized the outlet box and reinstalled the chandelier. Blake replaced a bath broken switch. They performed their work proficiently and timely. In additional to great work by Mark, Jon and Blake, I appreciated their genuine kindness. I referred Advanced Electrical to a friend.

UPDATE - I had a need for a new outlet and replace a light switch and so called Advanced Electrical again. The experience was just as good as last time (see below). Stephanie was excellent on the phone and very patient with me when I got the days mixed up. She also accommodated my need to have the electrician arrive at 7 am. The electrician, Nate, was excellent as well. Very professional and was efficient in his work. He was a pleasure to work with and I would ask for him again if I had another need. I would highly recommend Advanced for any residential need.

First visit (2023) - Was very pleased with communications, starting with the prompt answering of the phone (no going to phone mail), scheduling, being called before arrival and during the visit. Had a difficult problem with some house wiring which the electricians, Matt and Seth, found and repaired. Will definitely use Advanced Electrical in the future.

Advanced Electrical was recommended to me & I will also be recommending them too! Stephanie (office manager) kept me informed of the timeline, Mark (owner) is incredibly knowledge, and Nate was quick to respond to my questions and assist even after the job was completed, stopping by the property two days in a row to help. I appreciate that they communicated with Alabama Power, which can be the difficult part. If you’re in the market for electrical work, give them a call.

So my neighbor's tree comes down over the power lines in our backyard. Within about 30 minutes of calling Advanced, Rustin came out, reattached what had pulled away from our house as well as our neighbor's house, called the power company, had us all back up and running. I expected the charge to be way more. Fast and professional service and I will definitely use Advanced again!

Matt was sent to my home on 1/24/2022 and he was The Best, I learned a lot because I ask a lot of questions. He was very informative and very professional. My lights are back workin now..

Jon did a great job removing old wiring in my house and replacing it. I have used advanced before and will always be my first go to.

I had a mysterious group of outlets that had no power, yet the circuit hadn’t flipped. Mark Anderson came to give an estimate, but noticed some big electrical issues with my outdated circuit breaker box. His men came on a day they were supposed to have off, replaced the box, updated the system, found the problem with my dead outlets and replaced some lights in my den, all for a reasonable price. It’s a relief to not worry I might have an electrical fire.
