Thaxter was great to work with and helped troubleshoot some issues with our plugs. He was also very knowledgable in bringing some items up to code and working with aluminum wiring in a condo that was built in the 60's.

I am very pleased with the service provided by Total Power Electric. My house was directly hit by lightning damaging my electrical outlets and causing some of my appliances and other personal items to fail. Thaxter and his team were very professional. They came out assessed the damage and fixed the problems. He was also very responsive to any questions or concerns I had and got spoke to me or called back in a timely manner. We recently had TP Power Electric install a large number of canister lights in our kitchen and basement den. Thaxter Pittman (“TP”) met with us before the job, assessed our needs, and went over exactly what they would do. Then he did something we weren’t expecting - he ran a courtesy safety inspection of our junction box, which he does for every customer. We’re so glad he did because he identified three code violations/safety hazards from work done in summer 2023 by a widely known company that touts being “on time.” Thaxter fixed the violations and didn’t charge us to fix it. He not only delivers as promised, but he’s an honorable man, as we learned. We can’t say enough good things about Thaxter and Total Power!

TPE came recommended from my neighborhood's Facebook page, and my experience with TPE was fantastic. I ordered a consultation online, got a call from the front office to schedule. Thaxter came out, gave me a fair estimate and a digital copy of the estimate so I could book services when it was convenient for our timeline. Thaxter and his crew showed up on time, and were done with the job a little over 2 hours later. TPE should be on your shortlist of electricians to call whenever the need arrives.

Thaxter is very reliable and very reasonable. I hired him to lower a set of yard lights. The lights were installed years ago near the roof next to where the power line is located. He said he could move them lower but a much less expensive option would be for him to change the bulbs to LED bulbs which would last for years. I highly recommend him!

Total Power arrived when scheduled, performed the service that I had called them for and at a reasonable price. I asked them to do an inspection while they were here and they pointed out that I didn't have a CO2 detector and that my smoke detectors were decades old and needed to be replaced. Also, I wouldn't hesitate to have them in my home even if I'm not there.

I asked Thaxter what I needed to make my living room brighter and he suggested can lights. They installed 4 in the room and now it makes it so much brighter and beautiful!! He knew exactly what I needed and is always so professional and dependable. I love it!
