Constraction reviews in Theodore, Alabama

As a Strengthen Alabama Homes Grant recipient was tasked with selecting a roofing contractor to replace the roof. Foster Contracting was selected through the bid process. From the initial sales presentation to completion of project, the Foster team performed excellent. From roof tear off to shingle installation each task was completed with care. This company came highly recommended and now I know why.

They just did my roof two weeks ago and did such a great job. From start to finish communication was great and I truly felt taken care of. Once the project was done the yard was spotless. Wound use them again!

Edit:
After leaving my original review, Jimmy and the team came by within two days and finished the job by painting the exposed wood. Attaching photo to show it. That’s all I originally wanted. Took three months but the job is done. Leave reviews, people! They matter. Upping from 2 stars to 4.

Original review:

The roof itself was done quickly and very well by the team and project manager, Jimmy. Chase Foster, the owner, was very communicative up until the job was “finished.”
We spoke before I chose them (using the SAH roof replacement grant) and Chase was very convincing about why Foster roofing would be the best choice for me. But while doing the job, his team ripped some paint off of the exterior along the roof line. Jimmy came by and took a paint sample to get it fixed. Now, over three months since the job was “finished”, both Jimmy and Chase are ghosting me. They made multiple promises to come finish the job and fix what they didn’t finish. But now that the state of Alabama has paid them, I’m not hearing from them at all. Guess they have too many other roofs to mostly complete to get back to me.

It’s unfortunate because they were great up until this point. The two stars are for the roof they did. Lost three for ghosting and not being honest or finishing.

From start to finish Foster Contracting ensured the installation of our Fortified roof was a pleasant and painless experience. Chase Foster explained the Fortified Roof requirements, answered all questions, submitted the bid in a timely manner and was available throughout the entire process. The “Crew” arrived early, worked hard and fast. Everyone presented themselves professionally and friendly!
We Most Highly Recommend Foster Contracting!!!
Thank You

Fosters roofed our house last month as part of the Strengthening Alabama Homes grant program. They did a great job. They came out for the estimate quickly and got us scheduled in a timely manner. The crew was very professional. They were very efficient and polite. They did a great job on the roof and cleaned up very well.

We worked with Foster for the Alabama Fortified Roofing Program and have been so pleased with both the brand new roof and skylights. All of the process to have a visit and receive quotes was made so simple and they were always available for questions. We were able to have them also upgrade our skylights as a part of this process and the quality of everything has been a huge improvement! I would highly recommend using their services if you are looking for a great company and quality product!

I had my roof installed this morning and Foster Contractors did not disappoint. The team started early AM and finished around 4:30. The team completed the job and cleaned up really well. I got the grant through Strengthen Alabama homes and chose Foster and that was the best decision my husband and I made. I highly recommend Foster Contractors you also will not be disappointed.💜

I recently had the pleasure of working with Foster contracting for a roof replacement and seamless gutters and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! The initial consultation was very thorough and informative and I was very impressed with Chase and how knowledgeable he was. Overall, my experience with Foster Contracting was outstanding. If you're in need of roofing services, I wholeheartedly recommend them. They exceeded my expectations in every way, and I’ll definitely be calling them for any future roofing needs. Thank you,for a job well done!

We added a patio cover to create shade over our backyard seating area. The crew handled installation professionally and made sure the structure matched the style of the house. The project took about four days. Compared to before, we can comfortably use the patio even during hot afternoons or light rain. It completely changed how often we spend time outside. The cover feels sturdy and well-built, and it gives the backyard a much more complete and functional appearance overall.

The Bahama blinds are of good construction. They were installed incorrectly but they came back out to properly install them. Some hardware fell off and for three months I can't get them to answer a phone, return a call, return a text, or respond to an email. I don't even know if they are still in business.
