Mover reviews in Vestavia Hills, Alabama

Moved a few things into storage and these guys were timely and professional. Thanks to johnathan vlad and Jeff

Told one thing and charged another. Movers were very unprofessional. We had to constantly search for them while trying to load truck. Said some very unprofessional remarks several times. Horrible experience!
-
These guys are AWESOME! Jake and Drew were prompt, courteous, clean cut and respectful.
-
By far, the best moving experience ive ever had!! The movers were great, the hourly rate was very reasonable! Highly reccomended!!!
-
Great job, showed up on time, called that morning to confirm, guys were super nice and handled my heavy things well. Not a single item or wall scuffed. I will use them again.
-
Best move I've ever had, guys showed up on time clean cut, and where very helpful. They hooked up all appliances and beds with no extra charge! I would highly recommend for any move.
-
Timely, efficient, pleasant and dependable! They took care of everything, were in constant contact with me and charged me a more than reasonable price. Truly my least stressful move, I recommend them to anyone looking for a worry and drama free move!

I've never had to move items on my own before and the gentleman that answered the phone laughed in my face when I asked a few questions about the way their business works. He was rude and condescending. I may not know much about moving but I know that a business is only as good as the people it employees and I wouldn't trust that man to hold a fig leaf from my back yard let a lone a house full of furniture. Thanks for nothing.

I wish I had read the BBB complaints and taken negative reviews seriously before hiring this company. Paid over $6,000 for a large move. Was told all items were insured. When a tabletop shattered (a normal part of any move) I was told by the movers and management that it would be reimbursed. I was asked to get a receipt. Went back to the store to get a receipt and submitted it. Giving up after 6 months of trying to get someone to return my calls or emails.

Had a wonderful moving experience with these guys. No scuffs, scratches or dings that I know of. Very efficient and QUICK! Price was very reasonable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Road Runner Moving to anybody.
-
The two fellows who moved me were punctual and courteous. They were efficient and very careful with my furniture. The cost was reasonable. I will call them again if I need moving services.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! This is the WORST experience my family and I have ever had. They didn't load the truck properly so there wasn't enough room for our things. The guys were on their phones all day so near the end they were rushing to get everything done and were so sloppy. They threw our flat screens in the truck without any protection, we had to tell them to please put a blanket over it so it wouldn't crack. They left so much stuff that they said they would get then said it would cost an arm and a leg to bring another truck to get everything else because they didn't pack properly. To top it off they asked my 75 yr old father if they could pull the truck through the front yard (to save time=money) of our new house's pristine yard when the driveway was maybe 5 extra steps. My dad did say yes because he tries to save where he can but PROFFESSIONALS WOULD NOT EVEN ASK. The tire tracks they left are horrendous looking. And we're missing a leg to our sofa, screws to my sons bed, and that's just what I've noticed so far. I don't know how this company stays is business let alone has positive reviews.

I used RR Moving twice in our move to and from an apartment in mid town Birmingham. They were professional, prompt and courteous. They charged exactly the same rate both times and finished within a few minutes of the same on both moves. Overall, I will use them again should I need a moving company.

Zero integrity company. Listen to the other negative reviews - they are the truth. If you are considering any type of move, I would highly advise using another company. ANY other company. The amount of items broken and missing (including a 70" TV, surround sound speakers, broken furniture, irreplaceable decorations, missing parts box making it so we still have not been able to put together beds, etc.) has made working with Road Runner Moving one of the worst experiences of our lives. Chase (President), April and Jeremy have made ZERO effort to return calls, respond to emails/text messages for the past 2 weeks. Horrible, horrible business.
Consumer beware!! -
Such a bad experience with this company. So unprofessional on so many levels, and it starts at the top of the chain.
Broke and damaged tons of furniture and items, poorly assembled furniture, and then had the audacity to lie and run us around for over 3 months.
Don't be jaded by their low prices, they're like that for a reason, you get what you pay for.
Also, don't be taunted by their contract threatening to sue if you leave a negative comment online, it's against the law for them to sue due to an act signed by Congress in 2016. -
Steer clear of Roadrunner! We paid them to site our furniture and furnishings during a remodel. When our belongings were returned, our rug was full of mold and mildew. Roadrunner said they would either clean or replace the rug. Three months and numerous phone calls and emails later, Roadrunner hasn’t done anything they promised to do — and haven’t even returned the rug they ruined. They lie. They’re the worst.

This company is great. They really know how to move furniture in the most efficient way, You can tell they have a lot of hard earned knowledge about furniture moving. I have used Road Runner 3 times and I always recommend them to friends and family when they move.

DO NOT USE ROAD RUNNER MOVING !!!!
I just had to buy a new washer to replace the one broken by Road Runner Moving during move! All because they didn't secure the drum with bolts as advised! This is in addition to the piano technician I paid to correctly assemble the grand piano they struggled to move and assemble. Furthermore owner Chase Carlisle lied about his relationship with Ellis piano who refuses to use his moving company due to problems they have encountered with Road Runner Moving and Chase Carlisle. If you are even considering this company be warned.!!!! Chase is a smooth talker when he wants your business but does not deliver what he promises and makes no attempt to rectify problems. The issues began the day of the move when the correct number personnel and trucks I contracted for did not show up. The company is not what they once were under the leadership of current owner!!! -
Pleasantly surprised to say the least. This was my 1st time hiring a moving company & to keep it honest I had my trepidations. A friend had referred them so I took a chance. It's very rare for me to review a company on google, but these guys deserved it. Vladimir & Cody showed up and went straight at it. I thought I would have to stay on top of them with all the horror stories I had heard about hourly rates with movers. I couldn't have been more wrong. Professionals through and through. Will definitely recommend them to everyone I know! Keep up the good work guys. Thanks.

I would recommend their services to anyone. I used their services to pack, move, and unload my house. 1st of all, The guys that came to move me really did handle my furniture as if it were their own. I did not have to deal with any of the hidden fees or charges that I've run into with other companies in the past. These guys have the process simplified and it is very straight forward. After comparing their prices to other companies it was a no brainer. We all know moving day can be so stressfull and road runner really goes over the top to make sure you don't have to worry about anything!

Great Experience! Excellent communication with the office staff. Chase Carlisle quoted a fair and competitive rate, and gave a clear outline of the moving process. Clay and Josh were my movers and they were very reliable and helpful. Easiest move I have ever made!
