Had the guys out to cut down five trees. They had to a limb up one and cut it down in sections, they did an amazing job and placed the trees exactly where they said they would, very impressive! Very professional and showed up right on time, price was exactly what I was quoted. Highly recommend

Came out twice to quote work, doesn’t send an updated quote even though at the second evaluation Dave said he could get us in in a week. Get a call back today saying can’t do it until spring 3 days after saying they’re booking about a week out.
I had to call twice and email to finally get a response on an updated quote for adding 1 tree cut down and that stump.
They came in at 1/3 of the cost of competitors and that probably is why they magically can’t fit us in after telling us each time they came out it would be a week out, when it’s early October and the ground is nowhere near too frozen.

So I had a very dead birch tree in the back yard of our new home. I had called Greatland for a quote on removal and was told they would send out thier estimator. Paul ( the manager ) ended up calling me that evening and asked if he could drop by for a look at the job. He stopped by and I showed him the problem. So he walks up to the tree and shakes the trunk a bit, then shoved it straight over and shook my hand as he said have a nice evening. Ha! We both got a good laugh of it and he didn't even charge me a dime. I'll be calling these folks for services in the spring. With service like that they have earned my business.

Best and affordable tree service in Anchorage. I called multiple tree services and Quote of greatland was more reasonable. Gage tree service was most expensive. No one can beat greatland tree price quote. They removed close to 12 or more trees from my house.

Greatland handled a very large job for us, cutting down ~ 30 trees and coming back to grind stumps. All of the people we dealt with from quote to completion were professional, knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommended!

Super easy to work with, fairly priced, and they did the job fast and well! I have used them twice so far and will call them the next time I need a tree taken down.

Our car was damaged by this business when they were removing a limb from the next door neighbors yard, and dropped it on the roof of our car while parked in the driveway. The crew admitted they damaged the car and gave us the contact at their office to file the claim. When we contacted David, the Operations Manager of Greatland Tree Service, he tried to minimize the incident by saying the car was not worth the estimate that we received from Able Body. When I refused to allow him to bully me into settling for a lesser amount than the estimate, he said he was turning it into his insurance company and they would be contacting me. I have yet to be contacted by this company’s insurance and David has not responded to any of my requests for follow up.
I simply wanted our car repaired, nothing more. I would not put my trust in a company that will not take responsibility for their actions or tries to bully the innocent party into settling for less than they are entitled to.
I would not give them 1 star, what I really need is a big fat ZERO!

Greatland gave us a free estimate with multiple options for pruning our four apple& 2 crabapple trees that we had neglected for several years. The service we received was professional, the guys who came out to do the work were friendly& efficient, and our trees look beautiful. We would highly recommend this company.

I needed a large spruce tree that was close to the house taken down. The crew arrived early and had the whole job done in an hour (chipped and hauled the brush, raked and cleaned debris from the roof, yard and driveway). Robert, Ryan and Justin were extremely courteous and professional. Getting a quote and scheduling the job was a breeze. Overall, great service!

Absolutely amazing service! Got three trees cut down, trunks left on site and in manageable lengths for firewood, limbs mulched and hauled, and had four stumps ground down. The customer service was excellent. Tree cutters were awesome and very fast and professional. Stump grinder man, was fast and very professional. I highly recommend Greatland Tree Service.

Matt and his colleague did a splendid job in cutting down the birch trees in my backyard.
They are superb professional, safety oriented both for themselves and my deck and other nearby trees. They cleaned up nicely even the pavement on the street where their huge vehicle with machines parked. They even carried the logs to my nextdoor neighbor who wanted them for his fireplace.
Greatland's price was almost as half as other's I requested of free estimate. What a great service and friendly professional who are punctual. I highly recommend Greatland Tree removal service to any one who looks for a quality job. Thank you for your service!

The team from Greatland Tree Service was amazing! They were very polite, professional and more importantly safe. The took extra care not to damage the property and cleaned up. We will definitely use them again!

I am so impressed with this company. They gave me a quote within a day of calling, got me on the schedule in a timely manner, were in and out in less than an hour, friendly and even cleaned up my yard. Very happy with this company. Large tree fell in my yard in the latest windstorm in November. My wife called probably 10 companies, all except Greatland were either too busy or couldn't make it out until springtime, even to give me a quote. Greatland was there the same day to give me a quote on removing the fallen tree and also checking to ensure I didn't have other trees that could come down. Their price was extremely reasonable. Didn't end of using them as I had some friends who were willing to help out with the tree removal, but they were absolutely fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone.

Timely response to my initial service request. Estimate was reasonable and timely. Military discount honored. Tree removal was scheduled within a reasonable amount of time. Excellent communication texts and emails. Guys that showed up were fast, efficient, and friendly. They were in and out within 40 minutes! Very exciting to watch them work, sad to see the beautiful tree go. They removed a 40 foot pine tree that lived next to my house and in a precarious spot with communication lines and fencing near by. Justin came by on a Monday and the monster cottonwood threatening to crush my house was history on Friday. Quick, efficient, professional. The work was done and, other than the stump, you could barely tell they had even been there. I highly recommend Greatland Tree Service for any tree concerns you may have.

Great service! We got a quote that was sent by email and approved online. They called 2 days later and were able to get us in that day. Took down four problem trees in less than two hours. Chipped everything smaller and left us the good birch for firewood. Very pleasant guys who did a great job.

Greatland Tree Service did an awesome job at my place. Justin looked at the job on Monday, gave me a good quote that day, and completed the work 2 days later.
On the day of the job, they arrived with a crew of 4 and all the tight equipment, took down 6 big dead spruce trees, did all of the cleanup including leaf blowing and raking, and were done in 3 hours.
Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional.
