We struggled with sulfur smell and iron content in the water at our new house for several months while we tried to get help from another local company. After making no progress, we went down the street and walked into Alaska EcoWater where we were directed to Tyler. Right off the bat he took over an hour to sit down with us and fully understand what we had been struggling with. Then he came to our house to see our system first-hand and test our water. Because I travel a lot for work, he made this house call on his personal time so that I could be there to be a part of the conversation. After his visit, although he knew he could solve our problems by selling us a new system, he did some research to try to find other options first. He then recommended a procedure we could try. He could have charged us quite a bit to perform the procedure for us, but knowing the financial crunch we were in he gave us very detailed directions to perform the procedure ourselves. And then, because he honestly cares about us personally and wanted the procedure to be successful, he checked in on us several times to make sure it was going well (no pun intended) and see if we needed anything.

When we had completed the procedure, Tyler invested even more time to come out to our house and test our water again. It was at this point that we fully began to appreciate his honesty and sincerity, because he was excited that the procedure had worked, and that we would not need to purchase a new system from him. He told us what we could gain by replacing our system with a more efficient one, but reiterated several times that a replacement was not necessary because our system was functioning properly. When we eventually decide to replace our system, we will definitely get a new one from Tyler because I have no doubt that he has out best interest in mind.

In the mean time, what I can offer him in return for making our new house finally feel like a home, is to give him my highest recommendation. If you need help with your water, Tyler is absolutely the person you need to talk to. He has won my loyalty, and if you give him the chance to, he will win yours, as well (I totally meant the pun that time ;).

Tyler from AK Ecowater was the most responsive and proactive as I have experienced from any company in a very long time. He was knowledgeable, worked well to coordinate scheduling and installation and made sure we were satisfied with the implementation and result. Happy to say our water is now crystal clear and our water is clean and refreshing thanks to our new softener and reverse osmosis system.

Installed a much needed water softener. Stephan and the rest of the team were very friendly and responsive. They tested the water free of charge and the unit was installed very professionally. Water and drain lines were ran very clean and would recommend to anyone looking for water treatment or if you're not sure what you need to fix a problem.

Bhat was just here to service both my water softener and my reverse osmosis system. He was quick, efficient, and gave me a complete and thorough understanding of all the work he was doing and the parts that he replaced. Our water softener is tucked into a closet next to a carpeted area. Bhat went above and beyond to make sure that he didn’t get the carpet dirty. Ecowater is fortunate to have such a fabulous employee. I was also impressed with Sarah when I first called in to schedule an appointment. I was very impressed with her level of knowledge as well. Kudos all around.

Alaska EcoWater recently installed a water softening system and a reverse osmosis system for us. We were extremely pleased with the customer service there as opposed to their local competitor. Everyone we worked with including the sales rep, water tester and plumber, was prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. They helped us select a softener and RO system and installation location based on our needs and even called to follow up after installation to ask if we had any questions and ensure we were happy with the product. They were able to get us on the schedule within a couple of days and had the work completed same day. They encouraged us to reach out if we had any questions or needed anything in the future.
