Reviews of local pros in Big Lake, Alaska

They were friendly and did an excellent job. Very clean and quick!

I highly recommend this business. They do very good work for a resaonable price.

They did a great job taking out the Cottonwood we didn't want and gave us our mountain view back!

They cut down a bunch of beetle killed spruce along a fence line. Fair pricing, on time and did a great job.

They did an excellent job clearing dead spruce from a couple of acres of land. Limbed trees and cut into firewood-size pieces. Would highly recommend.

Smyth Brothers just completed removing over 20 trees from our yard. Not only did they cut down the trees efficiently the cleaning and debris removal was awesome. I would highly recommend Smyth Brothers.

Thank you for your flexibility when we decided to add more trees to be downed. Appreciate how quickly you were able to fit us into the schedule. Great work, fair prices...will be calling again! Thank you Cim and Josh.

Punctual, quality work and extremely friendly and helpful people. Best I have ever dealt with. Went above and beyond to protect my brand new sod that had been installed only days beforehand. They did incredible work. I will always recommend these guys

Smyth Bros did an excellent job on a pretty large job of taking down dead trees; cutting them up and brush chipping. They were on time; professional and their prices were very fair. I would highly recommend!!

Highly recommend Cim and his crew for any tree removal needs! Have used them multiple times and always reliable, hard working, master tree fellers, and meticulous with clean up...all at a very reasonable price!!

These men were prompt..proficient..polite..with reasonable rates..and very good at what they do. I had 9 large beetle killed spruce removed and slash cleaned up in a 2 day period. I have more trees to remove and will be calling them again. I highly recommend this team for tree removal!

These guys work hard and get the job done. They cut well over 20 trees on my property, felling each one with skill in the direction planned. They were quick to respond to my call and schedule the work. Very nice and professional! Highly recommended.

I can only rave about Smyth Bros. tree service. I had several trees removed to day, and was amazed with the precision they showed in careful removable of my trees. The communication was stellar and kept me informed of any issues I might be interested in. I highly recommend them for anyone that genuinely cares about their personal landscape

I am tremendously pleased with the service, work, ethics and pricing of Smythe Brothers Tree Removal!
We were very hard hit by the wind storms of this previous winter, this coupled with many trees killed by spruce beetles left us in quite a mess. We had over 26 Large trees removed off of our chain link fence, from all sides of our house and even behind our shed and greenhouse. All done with precision and safety.

All parts of the tree were removed, every bit of it! They even blew off our driveway of debris and my car of dust! Also their prices were extremely reasonable and the best when quotes were compared.

Best of all they are good, nice and dependable men. They gave me a quote in April and a date they’d be here. They arrived on that morning and worked hard for two days.
I can’t recommend them highly enough.
Use them, you will be happy and amazed at their work!

Great experience they took an 18" x 60' birch down and had it chopped up in about 2 hrs. Will be calling them again!

We need about a dozen dead trees dropped on our property and we had a few quotes to do the job. Cim was much more reasonably priced than the other quotes we received. He communicated and got the job done for the price he quoted when he said he would get it done. I would highly recommend this company.

Great small business! Cim and his crew will get your job done. Professional work and reasonable rates! If I need another tree to come down, this is the crew I’m calling!

Super fast and friendly service! He showed up on time and I couldn’t believe how quick and easy it was. Highly recommend if you need something like a big tree removed from your property. Very friendly people!

The Smyth Bros crew brought a team and took out 8 huge Cottonwood trees in precarious positions between houses. They were safe and efficient. It took them less than two days and the place looks better than ever.

Cannot recommend this company enough! Had them out to look at some tree removal work I wanted done next spring. They were concerned several trees wouldn't make it through winter and threatened the house. They came back within a week, took down 20 trees, dropping them exactly where intended, cut them into firewood sized logs, and moved them to one spot. All for an incredibly reasonable price. Definitely plan on having them come back in the spring to complete my other project, but I sleep much better now knowing those trees are down and not a risk to the house!
