Tony and his crew at ICON are absolutely amazing!!!! We HIGHLY recommend them with a 5 plus star rating! We met unexpectedly in a box store! I had gone to fine someone to help us find the correct items for wiring a shop, while my brother searched the shelves for the breaker box to meet our needs. Finding no one to help after a ten minute search, I returned to the electrical aisle and found my brother chatting with a man that had taken the initiative to ask if he could help him! I started asking him questions and he was sooooo pleasant and helpful!! I asked if he was an electrician, and after affirming it, I asked if he was available to do a job. He came over that day and gave us an estimate and saved us lots of money by suggesting a much less complicated plan! His crew came and completed the job the NEXT DAY!! We were elated with their efficiency and integrity!
We had gone to five different individuals and companies prior, looking for someone to do this job. We had faced no response, too busy and dates in November. Needless to say , meeting Tony was a God sent blessing!! In this day and age, it's often hard to find integrity and a good work ethic, but Tony and his crew have it!! The techs sent where fast and efficient. I had a breaker go bad that powered our fridge, and they were on site within a few hours.

Make sure to read their website properly regarding pricing before scheduling an appointment if you are from Anchorage. They are based in Palmer. They will charge their mileage going to Anchorage which is at least $250 extra on top of per hour fee.

Tony & Lane were at my house at 8:00 am on a Sunday morning in the middle of one of the strongest wind storms in the Valley history and worked over six hours replacing the power box on outside of my house that had been ripped off by a felled tree. These guys Confronted horrible working conditions with multiple overlapping challenges to juggle including live wires on the ground, 70 MPH winds, pitch black, debris all around & underfoot & helping to get a generator onto the furnace so we don’t freeze up. Temp got to 43. Throughout all of this Tony and Lane were consummate professionals informed by a great Alaska tradition of innovative use of the tools you have, not necessarily the ones you need. They made it work. Better than that, they were kind and funny when both were sorely needed. If I could give them a 10, I would make it 100!

We needed to sell our home, had major electrical issues. Multiple breaker panels from multiple additions. Called around for bids. The last company called should have been our first. Will be from now on. ICON electric came out day after I called. I walked the gentleman through everything he was very Intelligent, knowledgeable, Professional & kind. He even Identified that our main line was not the right wire for our home. It was a Repurposed power-line from the 70’s. From the main line out icon Tackled. Rewired my home. Taking Multiple breaker panels and moving it all into one breaker panel with a surge protector, firemen cut off switch disconnect, and generator switch. Outstanding job. Added many new lights to the Kitchen because We were remodeling it. 6 days later it was all done. We have had many people and contractors come through our home after. They all said the same thing. Outstanding work they wanted to know who did the wiring. They also said. That is the best Breaker panel wiring job they’ve ever seen. I agree. Icon cleaned up all abandoned wiring from the multiple additions to the home. Icon save us time and money overall. Wife and I was very nervous to start this project because a lot of this was not called out on our Inspection 12 years ago when we bought the place. The owner and team at Icon Electric. Took all our fears away. Made us feel comfortable & important. Is there attention to detail and professionalism is second to none? We will recommend them to everybody we know, and whoever reads this Review. Thanks again, ICON Iconic job that you and your team have done for us will live on forever.

Tony did a great job coming in town to help us, he came to help us with an emergency service. Something that could’ve been a potential disaster was easily resolved. Thanks again Tony. Would highly recommend.

Lane installed a dedicated 20 amp outlet for a sauna at our home. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and fast. The price was very reasonable. Thank you Lane! I highly recommend!

Tony at Icon was cool to speak with on the phone. He had an electrician over within a few hours. Having someone able to come over the same day paired with rates that are less than other companies is why I chose them. The electrician, Manny, was friendly, knowledgeable, and got the job done in a timely manner. Really, this should've been a 5-star review. However, upon receiving the bill, I was charged for a drive time (2 hours at $69 per hour, PLUS $1 per mile driven)... $138 + $100 = $238! An additional $238 I was not expecting to see on my bill! That was some serious hidden/bogus fees! Tony said $150 per hour. I was pretty upset and let him know that those fees should have been discussed upfront. I'm in Anchorage and had no idea that they were a company in the valley. Well, Tony made it right with me and charged me as we had agreed on the phone (plus cost of parts, which is completely expected). Lesson learned is ALWAYS ask for how much it will cost per hour for a technician AND ask what (if any) are any additional costs. I'd be glad to go with ICON again, granted I don't have to pay for "driving charges".

I spoke with Tony from ICON Electric a couple weeks ago to take a look at 3 outlets I was having issues with. He was able to get me on the schedule next day and was super easy to work with. He came by and replaced the outlets and old wiring all in under an hour. Haven’t had any issues with those outlets since!
Overall, Tony made the experience very easy and provided 5 star service!
Pricing was very fair, schedule was flexible, and service was quality. I definitely recommend ICON Electric to anyone needing any electrical repair and I definitely will be using them again in the future!

Scott was willing to travel to my home in Glacier View and quickly resolved the electrical issues at my new home for a fraction of the cost of other companies (premier electric) estimate. Damn fine service and fair pricing.

Maybe it’s because they have a contract with HSA, but this was my experience. These thieves are in bed with HSA. HSA sends these thieves to your house to tell you that the bathroom exhaust fan works just fine because the motor is on and that HSA will not pay for anything else. Scott came in heard the fan on and saw the mold all over the ceiling and said that everything was fine! This was the second time A1 electric has done this to me. I called HSA and they said they have to wait for Scotts notes and diagnosis after I told her that Scott was still in my home and I can pass the phone over to him so she could talk to him. She said shed wait for his notes. I asked what was inputted into their system before. She said A1 electric never inputted any notes. But they received our money twice. This CON GAME that these two are pulling is a good one but I will be notifying the proper authorities.

Scott with A1 was the electrician we used to resolve the electrical issue in our home. He spent less than an hour (barely 30 minutes) in our home and didn't solve the problem- then charged us $475 for his "work." It's extremely overpriced and the job will be done poorly. I don't recommend these services at all.

Added a transfer switch, new breaker box, and added a EV charger. These guys did great work, couldn't be happier with the results. Easy to work with, thanks for your hard work.
