Tree reviews in Wasilla, Alaska

Scheduling was easy. Kaitlyn came out to go over the property and what my needs were. She listened and understood what I wanted. They called the next day to set up a timeline. Then a week early they called to ask if they could come the next day as they were going to be in my area. I happily said yes. They showed up when they said they would. But they only sent one guy, Jake. The others would be coming later. It ended up that they were there for some of the clean up. But Jake had cleaned up as he went along. He was very good at what he does. He felled some really big trees with them landing exactly where he wanted them. He was friendly. He understood what I needed, get rid of the big Cottonwood trees before they rot and die and fall on my house. He worked hard and really knew what he was doing. The rest of the crew was also industrious and really took clean up seriously. They were also very friendly. I have used Gage Tree service in the past and I will again.

Gage has removed trees, topped trees, ground stumps from our big lake property at 2 separate occasions. Many of the access to the trees we asked for their help with was very difficult. Jake their supervisor, was very thoughtful about how to get their equipment into position to best do the job. He had a radio to his key team members and made sure they removed exactly what we wanted to our satisfaction. They cleaned up any mess and also minimized any impact the equipment made on our lawn area where the trees were topped. This was not an easy job, but they were very professional and had all the right equipment to do the job safely & well! Wow! All of their guys were amazing and worked so hard. We are happy with the outcome as we can have sun on our deck again and not hidden by huge birch trees that also throw their leaves and junk on our deck! Thank you to Katelyn and Jake and the Gage tree team. We highly recommend you!

Contracting with Gage Tree Service was a great decision. Everyone was knowledgeable, friendly, and competent. They did a fantastic job removing several huge but dying birch trees in my yard without damaging a fence on one side or any of my fruit trees on the other. I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks, Gage team!

The crew did such an amazing job and our yard looks fabulous! They were professional, thorough and did an incredible job crowning our trees and trimming our hedge! Thank you!

This is late in coming, but I was so impressed with the whole project start to finish. Kaitlyn came out and looked the project over and sent us a quote that same day. We wanted 12 trees cut down and asked that they keep everything that was cut, as high up on the flat area as they could. We did not want the brush or logs removed. They were amazing in getting this done and it was done in a timely manner. And even removing a tree two on the hill and around power lines. They were very careful around our septic area and deck as well. Brush was put in several piles and the cut trees were cut and put in several other piles. This was not requested but we were grateful. They cleaned up after themselves so that you would hardly know they had been there and cut down trees. I highly recommend GAGE Tree Service for any tree removal project you may have!

Kaitlyn came out to do the assessment/quote and was super helpful and direct with options. The crew came out a few days later got the tree in question down. Super tall cottonwood with a lean towards my house. The best part was watching the lead arborist take time to educate the boys on the team. Really nice to see that level of expertise being passed down. They wrapped everything up in about 2 hours and didn't leave a mess. 10/10 would recommend.

Robert, Noah and Tom did an excellent job of installing our Christmas lighting. I can highly recommend Gage Tree Service for Christmas lighting and tree work.

$200 deliver fee for 15-30 yards of raw wood chips?? This is THE best stuff you can put on your property to provide nutrients to the soil. They offer a "free" list as well but there could be a wait on that. I've interacted with them a few times and they were friendly, prompt, and very respectful. I recommend anyone in the Valley to let these guys do the work you need.

Absolutely, I would recommend Gage Tree service for lighting up the holiday season. They did a couple of our tall pine trees and what a difference it made with our whole holiday theme. The installers were very professional and friendly.
PS: During these crazy wind storms they came out quickly as possible to fix the outages. They definitely go on my to-do list for reliable services.

Could not be happier with the service I received from AAA, were extremely competent and got the job done a whole lot faster than I thought could be done. Removed the trees that were threatening the house from the wind storms before they became a insurance issue. Price was also extremely affordable.

Devin is a good human! After our kitten was up an evergreen tree for 48 hours, he offered to come over at 9 PM and rescue her. He expertly scaled up the tree, took time to comfort the cat so she felt safe, and rappelled back down with her. Thank you for your expert arborist skills and compassion for animals. He said it was good Karma for future climbs!

We appreciate Devin and his crew for being quick to respond! We had a job that needed to be done the same day. The tree wasn’t in the best spot, dog waste was involved, and it began pouring rain on them while they were working. With those circumstances these guys still did a fantastic job, very understanding and kind! Highly recommend!

AAA Tree Service took a scary situation and somehow made it…fun?! Im still not sure how they did that! I had a massive cottonwood hanging over my house and cracked at the base (scary in a financial, emotional, and legal sense) as well as several spruce on a steep bluff that needed to go. Devin communicated confidence, care, experience, and a welcome sense of humor in a stressful time. I will definitely call AAA for any future tree needs!

Devin and his team are honest, fair and reliable. Had two trees fall from this 90+mph wind storm into the neighbors driveway blocking them in. Was called to come out and take a look. Due to helping out anyone else they saw in need along the way out of the kindness and compassion they show, it took them longer than they stated to come out. When they arrived at my house they were very apologetic it took them so long and made quick work of two very large cottonwoods. Will be calling Devin and his team in any and all future needs. Thanks again guys!

Devin and his helper were able to take care of a leaning tree on our property same-day, for a reasonable price. He works safely and efficiently, and is very mindful of risks to life and property. No drama and no cowboy antics. Just professionalism and good work. I'd happily use their service again!

I have so much appreciation for AAA tree service!
Devon is a rockstar!
I needed help for the craziest situation of my cat getting stuck high up in a huge spruce tree - the age old cat stuck in a tree story - it was very stressful trying to find help to get him down- he was stuck in torrential downpours and now hot sun.
I called almost every tree service and understandably they already had their crews out for the day but Devon thankfully has a wide spread crew and did not hesitate to send someone immediately. Tyler arrived and proved to be an amazingly talented tree climber and a cat lover. My boy was rescued without a hitch and is now safe on the ground.
I have trees that need to be taken down soon and I will not hesitate to call Devon!
Highly recommend!!!!❤️

I highly recommend AAA Tree Service. I called them during the first wind storm Dec 7, 2025. We had 2 trees removed from our roof and a cluster of 10 trees resting on the fence and trees in the backyard. Devin and his crew worked fast and safely removed the trees.
Fast forward to the 2nd wind event Dec 13, 2025. More trees were in danger of hitting the house and fence. They came out and removed the trees, then came back on Sunday to cut the trees to smaller sections and stack all in one area. Great rates. Excellent service, and kept us informed.

Brandlen Tree Service came out on time. Removing several stumps from our yard.
Customer service was impeccable. Will call them for all future needs.

I hired Brandlen Tree Care to do some hedge trimming and stump removal on my father’s property.
They were very thorough and very professional, I highly recommend them!

Beau and the guys did a great job of tree removal and trimming of other trees. They were very professional and considerate of their surroundings. I plan to use this company for future projects and I would recommend them to anyone needing tree services. Cleanup was superb too. Thank you so much for a job well done! Kathy :)
