Juan came out on a weekend for an emergency call when our A/C shut off in 100+ degree weather and fixed the issues. This system was only installed 3 weeks prior, and the people who installed it 3 couldn't seem to fix. I tried calling the installers to come out for the 4th time in a week because it kept blowing a fuse. Apparently they aren't open on weekends for emergencies like they claim they are. So I contacted Vertex on a referral from someone. Amazing service and all around great guy to work with.

Update: I spoke with Juan today and was impressed by his professionalism in listening to my concerns. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about his customers. He immediately offered a solution, which I truly appreciate. It’s always refreshing to deal with a company that values its customers and works with them to find resolutions.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service we received from Vertex. We originally called them for an AC tune-up, during which they recommended replacing our capacitor. We agreed and paid for what we were told was a new capacitor. However, just two months later, our AC stopped working again during a heat wave.

We tried calling Vertex for help, but no one answered. Because it was far too hot to wait, we contacted a different HVAC company to come take a look. What they found was both frustrating and concerning. The issue was the capacitor—again. But even more shocking was their observation that the capacitor Vertex installed looked used, not new. It had black burn rings around it and even had tape residue on it, clear signs of prior use. This was infuriating—especially considering we paid for a brand-new part.

To make matters worse, the new technician also discovered that our fan had been installed incorrectly. This is either due to Vertex’s poor installation job or a complete oversight during their so-called “tune-up.” Either way, it’s unacceptable.

The second company corrected both issues, but this entire experience has left us with a serious lack of trust in Vertex. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend them to anyone. We will absolutely not be using their services again.

This is the second time in the past year or so that Juan has been out to our home for two different issues. This time he was here within an hour of me calling for a simple capacitor replacement. Juan is always pleasant to speak to and as bonus...he doesnt seem to mind satisfying my curiosity by answering my questions while he works. The repair wasn't cheap but he charged a reasonable price for a project I just didn't have the time to sit down and research on my own.

Juan is very professional and welcoming. He communicates quickly and shows up on time. I wouldn’t use anyone else!

We had already gotten a few estimates from other HVAC companies to replace our AC system (20 years old), but Juan made a lasting impression after he did his evaluation and sat down with us to talk through our options. He was personable and very patient and willing to educate us on the different things we had questions about. Juan was also very communicative throughout the entire process and easily reachable whenever we needed to talk to him about something. Certainly also helped that his prices were very competitive and often lower than some of the other estimates as well.

On installation day, his crew was friendly and professional and willing to work with us on a few things that we were concerned about. They put drop cloths along the entire path of where they needed to walk from the front door to the attic access to make sure our carpets didn't get dirty as they had to come in and out, and at the end they even vacuumed the area around the attic access to clean up any insulation or debris that may have fallen down and missed the drop cloths.

We'll happily continue to use Vertex and will be recommending them to any friends and family that need HVAC work done.

Vertex with the save!! AC started acting weird last night and my house wasn’t cooling properly. Went outside and my pipes were freezing over, so turned off the system and just started going thru process of elimination. Changed out the filters cause maybe it’s an air flow issue and nothing. Went to turn on the system this morning and got absolutely nothing, no flow and pipes began to freeze again. So called around and couldn’t get anyone out here till end of day today. I did not wanna wait that long especially with a pet in the house. So my wife actually ended up finding this company in Buckeye (Vertex), not too far from where we live and I didn’t even have to wait 2 hours for them to show up. Juan was beyond professional, and very punctual, diagnosed the problem almost immediately (motor went bad.) and with a stroke of luck, they had a motor on hand, replaced it in less than one hour programmed everything and everything started working like normal again. The price was very fair (given how expensive everything is today) and got my AC unit up and running in no time. Even did me the courtesy of checking my refrigerant just for peace of mind flawless work. Thank you Vertex and Juan for your speedy response and excellent service!!

A previous company botched up our heating. Then a good neighbor recommended Vertex. They were professional from the initial phone call to the prompt scheduling and the through the work that Juan completed. Vertex is professional across the board. I trust them. I will use them again. I recommend Vertex without question.

My motor blower went out during Labor Day weekend. I contacted a company that had serviced my unit in the past years, but they only had availability for the following week. At this point, my home was reaching the high 80s. I moved my family and continued to call other companies. Many wanted a deposit upfront with no set date, others had no availability and a few had poor customer service that discouraged me from moving forward with their business. I had lost hope and started to find a temporary solution like short-term stay with family. I came across Vertex Heating & Cooling and made one last call. A man with extreme professionalism answered and had me scheduled for first thing in the morning. I received a text and email shortly verifying the details of the appointment. The next day, I got a text when he was on his way. Juan arrived shortly after the text and quickly identified the problem. He told me exactly what the repair cost would be and got the motor blower replaced. After a few hours, we noticed our a/c wouldn’t drop to a certain temperature and I called them back. They said they could have Juan come back in about an hour and a half. Honestly, I didn’t think he would come back. 20 mins before the hour and a half was up, he called that he was on his way.

Recently, I had another concern with my unit and I didn’t hesitate to call Vertex. I left a voicemail around noon and within 10-15 mins he called back. My wife spoke to him and we were scheduled for same-day appointment. I received the same high level of communication as the first time. Juan explained everything in a way I understood and answered all the questions I had. Juan is a man of integrity.

I called Juan Alvarez about 9am on a Monday morning as we had been without heat over the weekend. Juan came to my house by 10:30am and assessed the situation. He realized what the problem was and explained it clearly. He was very fair with his pricing and very helpful. I will certainly have him return to do regular maintenance checks and upkeep on our system. He has a very organized system of business. Lazarus was amazing! He took his time and diagnosed the problem; spent as long as it took to fix the problem, and had it fixed for us the same day. He was polite and courteous, unlike Consolidated Mechanical whom was out the week prior and spent 15 minutes and misdiagnosed the problem. Thank you Efficient Air for being so professional. Give Lazarus a raise!!!! He deserves it. :)

We needed to get a new unit. Efficient Air has been servicing our previous unit so we asked for a quote. They were prompt and gave us a fair price for the unit they sell. They install Bryant air conditioners. Did some research. Of all the brands that are out there, only three are well built, reliable and have longevity. Bryant is one of those brands. Dennis and Manuel were the installers. They were professional and courteous and did a great job. I will continue to use Efficient Air for service and would recommend them to others. Keep up the great work.

Well all I can say is my Technician Lee was amazing.. You should never have to worry about getting fired. As a matter of fact. Someone give him a raise. He was a honest, professional and just overall great.. It's hard to find good people like him. 👍
