Absolutely the worst customer service oriented establishment I have ever in my life dealt with. They did some wood flooring on my home that did not line up room to room. The owner said it didn't matter because it was a different room (same room, same space). He eventually changed it out. But refused to complete another portion of a different contract saying "if I was going to be that picky he didn't want to do any more work for me". Not kidding that's what he said. Beware of this guy.

Avoid! Charges to remove base board when putting in flooring, damages it, and then won't fix or replace. Tells you to hire someone else to take care of it. When you go to the owner Brian, the situation gets worse......you'll be sorry if you use them!

Carefree floors was contracted to install a high end LVP flooring in three bedrooms and a hallway. They brought in an inexperienced crew. The flooring was installed tight to the base molding, not allowing for expansion. The LVP was attached to the base molding using silicone caulk. They used small 3" long pieces at the ends of rows, which didn't meet install standards. To create level transitions, they poured floor leveling concrete only at the transitions, creating a ramp which left the LVP suspended to span to the concrete, creating a hollow area below the flooring. When confronting the owner, he stated they've been installing with no expansion forever with no problems and that the concrete at transitions was acceptable. When I stated the warranty would be void using his install methods, he shrugged his shoulders. Essentially he made claim his install was all good with the exception of the short pieces at ends of rows. The bottom line, they don't install to the manufacturers specifications. They don't follow standard construction methods. They cut corners. I ended up hiring a professional contractor who tore out all of their work and started over. If you're going to use this company, I suggest you educate yourself on installation methods and write a contract that they follow the manufacturers specifications.

Had an appointment for Brian to come take a look at my house for a design consult, new fireplace, flooring, etc. Or so I thought. Instead he sent a guy to measure my fireplace because this person was closer to my house. Nothing about the floors or baseboards. Guess I was too far away from the shop for Brian to bother with. When I called him to say how disappointed I was and not what I was expecting, he told me there are a lot of tile guys out there. In other words find somebody else.

I have used Carefree Floors on two occasions. Both times, they showed up on time and were in and out with the job well done. I'm very satisfied and will continue to use them in the future. I also recommend them to all my friends!

Carefree Floors cleaned the old floors in our Tonto Hills house, designed and installed our kitchen countertops, did all the tile work in our renovated bathroom, sold and installed our office carpets in Carefree and cleaned the carpets in my parents house in New River. For residential or business work, anywhere in the north valley I highly recommend them. They have come through for us EVERY time!

Once again Carefree Floors did an amazing job for me. I had a couple of chips in my granite countertops. One of the chips was on a seam. Brian's team came out late on a Friday filled in the chip and re-glued the seam. The countertop is less than two years old. The seam that was repaired looks better than the day the counter was installed. Thank you Brian and Laurie Kunkel!

We recently purchased Mediterranean French oak floors. Everything went smooth and professional from the staff in the show room, scheduling, to the installation team. Five stars! We high recommend Carefree Floors. We love our new floors.
