We ordered carpet to be installed in 2 bedrooms and a large game room. Price and process were good. The retail associate in the store was good but knew we wanted the first available time to get measured and expedite the install. To our disappointment the measure team couldn’t get out to our home for 4 days. To complicate matters when the day came to do the measure, we waited around all day only to find out the associate made a honest mistake and scheduled it for the FOLLOWING week, 10 days out from the time we committed to going with Home Depot. While this part of the experience was less than 5 stars, the contractor who did the measure and the install team from Western States Flooring were spectacular. The team at Western States were on top of it and even called 3 days before the scheduled install to let us know they had a cancellation and could install earlier than planned. Overall a 4 star experience and with some additional training with the store associates, I’m sure Home Depot can improve the overall customer experience.
