We hired Dream retreats to completely remodel our backyard. I had a vision, and I a budget.. and after getting 5 quotes, they were THE ONLY company that listened and stayed within my budget and made my yard vision a reality. Everyone else wanted to sell me the “wow factor” that I didn’t want and definitely couldn’t afford. I worked with Sonny on architect. He was kind, not pushy and listened to what I wanted. He drafted a beautiful backyard. Alex, our foreman, along with his VERY HARD WORKING team made it come to life. Very professional. These guys had A LOT of demolition to do, they worked hard everyday, morning to evening. We looked forward to coming home from work everyday to see the progress. It was like Christmas everyday!! Alex was responsive to all my texts and questions. We even had an issue with a tile piece after they had completed their work and they came out and replaced it. This company is top notch. They are thorough, hard working and listen to their customers. Very professional and I am happy with our end result. Our yard is beautiful!! We love it!! Thank you!

We love our new patio that Dream Retreats helped us design and and built. Everyone we worked with was very professional and responded quickly to our questions. Our friends and family who have seen the patio have nothing but compliments on the design and construction. Now if the weather would just cool down a little more we would be spending most of our time outside enjoying our new backyard.

My experience with Dream Retreats has been awesome. We had them originally do our backyard landscaping 3 years ago putting in a pergola, fire pit, pavers, a fountain, Astro Turf, drip system, lighting etc. We recently had them come back out and do a “re-fresh” of our yard with some new pavers in the front, rock, trellises etc. They do outstanding work, are easy to work with, keep their promises, remedy any challenges immediately etc etc. I highly recommend. Had two major projects this summer. Dream Retreats added a lot of turf, trampoline, trees/plants, lighting, gravel, etc. They also had to accommodate a couple decking issues the pool builder caused. As with any project, there were a few glitches, but Todd offered to eat some of the cost for the misunderstanding, which he didn't need to do. Sonny was very responsive on design and listened to what we wanted. Alex was the project manager and was great to work with--he walked us through things, was on top of every OCD issue I had and offered some good advice. I think any company that goes out of its way to make sure you end up with what you want is a company you should do business with and these guys went way out of their way. All the people we worked with are people I'd like to work with again. And these guys were barely more expensive than some much less impressive landscapers. You pay for what you get and I'm very happy with their work. Our pool builder was good. These guys were better. I wouldn't consider getting more than one quote for any future landscaping work--really great company to work with.

After meeting with 10+ contractors, we selected Todd to help us with our pool remodel and building a BBQ. Todd was very patient with us, working through the design, looking at pictures with us to understand our style, and providing suggestions regarding what we might consider to for our design. When we selected our stone, tile, travertine, the gentleman at the store said Todd did his backyard. I am not sure how many landscaping/installation companies are in Phoenix area - but to have others in the business speak so highly of another partner - we were all in - wow!! Todd and his team were on time, on budget, and provided excellent personal customer service. In the mornings, Todd would stop by and check-in, provided personal small improvements, touches to give us the backyard of our dreams. We would highly recommend Todd to anyone and we will definitely use Dream Retreats again!

The team was amazing! Our yard looks amazing and Alex did a fantastic job helping us with the selection of materials and in walking through our final design! The team who came out to do the work were professional starting and ending on time and the quality of the work is beautiful! They also did a great job cleaning up each day. The office was very easy to communicate with and work through for processing payments as the job moved toward completion. This is the 2nd time we have used them and we are very pleased with the whole experience!

Professional, courteous, and prompt. We received 4 estimates for our backyard renovation. Dream Retreats estimate was tied in the middle in terms of cost, but we went with them because they promptly answered phone calls, scheduled on-site meetings, and presented detailed plans that included: a detailed line-item cost estimate, 11"x17" plan drawing, and 3D Virtual Tour. Sonny, our design architect, was very friendly and made multiple drawings demonstrating tremendous patience with us as he guided us through the project. The crew were always on time and VERY friendly and helpful relocation shrubs and landscaping material to new areas in the yard. Todd, the owner, empowered his crew and always seemed to come at the right time, to check milestones on the project build. ALL IN ALL, we were very pleased with the rate charged, their flexibility on making changes while in progress, and the quality of materials, and the final look and feel to the renovation.

We found Dream Retreats on the internet and so glad we went with them for our new backyard. The process from designing to finish went smoothly and we could not be more pleased with the exceptional work. Todd the owner was always available for questions and on site numerous times. Dream Retreats was recommended to us by our pool company.
We needed a new backyard landscape design that incorporated our mature trees and an upgrade to our pool. Dream Retreats not only provided us the landscape design and implementation, but also worked hand in hand with our pool company to provide us a seamless upgrade.

Our primary concern with our landscape upgrade was a problem we had with backyard drainage. When we it rained we always had concerns that water may enter our house. Most of the time it required manual labor to divert the water. In addition, we have two very important trees that had to be treated with kid gloves to limit the impact of change.

The Dream Retreats team provided us an excellent design for our backyard. They worked with our arborist to make sure the design around the trees was minimally invasive. Also, the design and construction teams used laser leveling technology to make sure our drainage issue was addressed.

The construction phase was great! The crew was courteous and worked with us daily to make sure our needs were met. Their work ethic was excellent and their skill at providing the landscape installation was the best I have ever seen. They really cared about their work. The owner was always available to discuss any issues and stayed on top of the job daily.

We had a budget planned and the owner actually saved us money with suggestions to meet our needs without compromising the quality of the products and the design. In addition, we made some changes that required an additional cost. The changes were fairly priced and never cut quality.

The schedule for the implementation was followed and delivered on time.

Since the completion, we have had one major rain and it was nice not to have to worry about the drainage. Everything is excellent and I cannot be more proud of my backyard.

I highly recommend Dream Retreats for your next project without hesitation.

Dream Retreats is an awesome company. Todd the owner was great to work with and had great ideas. His crew was great too, they were very courteous and cleaned up the work site..The job was done in a very timely manner and they worked great with the Pool remodeler in scheduling different projects to get done..Great experience and would recommend them for any of your backyard needs..

I made the mistake of NOT using Dream Retreats for my backyard project initially, but I did use them to fix and re-do the shoddy work done by the original company we used. Both Todd and the project manager, Alex were courteous and professional and very sensitive to our state of mind having just been ripped off by another company. When we re-do our front yard Dream Retreats will be the only company we consider. Thanks, guys!

5 stars for quite an endless list of areas. Initial booking of consultation was seamless, professional, and informative. Design process was fun and effortless. Invoicing and payment was smooth, and pricing competitive with like quality designers. Installation crew were near perfect, and were the hardest working people I've ever met; they know what they're doing and it shows. And of course, for the end result. The owner, Todd is easy to work with and responsive to inquiries and update requests. Lucio was an excellent team leader and the work he oversaw was impeccable. There were a few bumps along the road as there are bound to be on large projects, but ultimately they were handled well. I would recommend this team, and have, to anyone. Quality. Efficiency. Dreamy. If you are looking for a reliable, honest, trustworthy, locally-owned landscaping company to design and deliver on your front or backyard needs - Dream Retreats (DR) is the way to go! I had a terrible experience with a previous company, and was leery about trusting another landscaping company again. However, I took a leap of faith with DR, and I'm SO glad I did.

Brendan's eye for design was on par. Alex, Todd and crew did an exceptional job on the execution part. They were all professional, courteous, and a joy to work with. They went above and beyond - and for that I'll forever be grateful.

GREAT experience from beginning to end. The designer was detailed and created a vision that met ALL our needs. The pricing was line-item, straight forward and competitive. The PM and install crews were timely, clean and professional. This whole experience was great and I have referred them to anyone who will listen. My neighbor was so impressed with our job - they hired Dream Retreats to do their back-yard!

From our very first contact with Dream Retreats Landscape which was by their web site, we were impressed. We received a reply soon after we contacted them. We were first contacted by Michelle and she was pleasant to work with. Michelle got us started in the process of having our yard landscaped. We were then contacted soon after by Brendan to go over the design for our project. Brendan put together exactly what we were looking for. He was professional and he was pleasant every time we called him with ideas, which was quite a few times. Alex our Project Manager was professional and easy to work with also. He too got his share of calls and emails. Alex handled every one of our issues whether they were ideas or changes with a smile on his face. Todd the owner was easy to work with and we appreciated his help with our project. We also appreciate the crew that worked on our project. Our landscaping was done in the middle of July and they still completed the project on time. We have used Dream Retreats twice now and have recommended them to many friends. For both projects they have done an amazing job and worked closely with us to make sure we got what we wanted. For our first project we interviewed many companies and they were hands down the most impressive.l company. From their owner Todd, to their architect Sonny, to Matt the project manager, they kept ipen lines of communication and worked really hard for us! Creative, timely, competitive pricing, hard working, honest company!!

Edit 3/3/21:
I wouldn’t recommend using Dream Retreats any longer. The products installed in our backyard have not held up over the past 11 months. Our pavers are separating in a couple areas and the turf shows the seam and several divots. Ive tried for months to contact them for repairs but to no avail. Definitely bummed that I got burned after spending good money.

Spring 2020 Review:
I loved working with the crew at Dream Retreats. They were easy to contact and always provided great feedback to my questions and ideas. Even when I threw them curveballs and added to the design at the final hour, they accommodated my requests and we’re nothing but helpful and professional.

Also, for us cost was a huge deal. We just purchased a home and that comes with all kinds of costs so we had to make sure we didn’t blow the budget when it came to our yard. They were competitive with other companies in the area so I was happy that they delivered such high quality work at an honest cost.

We want to do more in the future and we definitely plan on coming back to have Dream Retreats help us when we’re ready. Thank you all for making our new yard so perfect for our family. We love it.
