Power Ranch Arborists did a great job trimming our trees.

Recently I posted a request for recommendations on Nextdoor for an arborist to trim our three sissoo trees. Many recommended Power Ranch Arborists owned and operated by David Scalise. We called David and he came out and gave us an assessment of each individual tree and wanted to know our objective for the trees. He then gave us his recommendation. We hired David and are delighted with the outcome. His men did a beautiful job trimming our sissoos and every fallen branch was cleaned up and put into a wood chipper. Power Ranch Arborists is very efficient and reasonably priced. We definitely recommend them.

Power Ranch Arborists have been trimming my trees for almost 10 years & I have never been disappointed. David always explains the why's & when's, is always on time. He may charge more than "landscapers" but that is because he is a certified Arborists & knows what to do & how to do it. The men in his employ are nice guys & know what they are doing after being with David for many years.

David Scalise is a highly qualified arborist and has been taking care of my property for approximately 10 years now. The team in his employ is always prompt, courteous and knowledgeable having been with David for many years. You can be sure you will receive good advise from David regarding the work you need to have performed.

I had the David Scalise return to my yard to see the results of a over trim he did on my Brazilian Pepper tree. They cut off about 50% of the living branches in August without the tree dormant. This resulted in the tree dying. When he returned he said it was "the super hot summer and the tree was not planted correctly to start." The tree lived in my yard for NINE YEARS without a problem but don't you know (quoted again) "there is fungus on the trunk which was mistakenly planted too deep in the soil." It will cost $225 to correct all the problems. Then on top of that his men trampled three new plants I had put in a few months before they arrived. So beware.

I had 2 20+ year old trees in my front yard that I had them do. They way over trimmed them which killed them. The other 15 on my property that I just had the landscapers do are alive and well. What pissed me off the most was David’s constant string of excuses that were complete nonsense. I had other arborists show up to assess and they all agreed he killed them. I’m sick about it. You’d have better luck finding someone at Circle K. Here are some before and after.

We had a native Palo Verde tree that needed trimming and shaping. First Joseph the arborist came out to discuss what he said should be done and gave us a bid. We agreed and a few days later David and Israel came out and without using loud power tools (except for the chipper) did a terrific job. The cleanup was amazing, even hitting debris that was in our neighbors driveway. They were professional and friendly and we highly recommend SavATree.

David and his crew showed up right on time. He explained what he was going to do, answered questions and got to work. When the crew was finished he asked if there was anything else I needed. They they cleaned up the area. Joe was the salesman and he made it as simple as possible. When I need it I won’t think twice about having them back.
