Alex was beyond professional and very competitive in his price. his price was lower than the competitors pricing from my calling. I was told by the other companies that it would be weeks before they would come out. My pool was losing 3 inches every 12 hours and with a 30,000 gallon pool that was a lot of water to continue losing. Alex fir me into his schedule and arrived the same day. He tested my entire system he used pressure tests for my equipment and also dye test for other components it looked to me that he had all the current tech to find my leak, he finally tracked down my leak. he said that he didn't do the repairs just finds the leak my repair was pretty simple and he fixed it for me with no additional charge.

I was concerned that maybe the leak wasn't what he said but he assured me he had a 30 day warranty and if that didn't fix my problem he would come back. This morning he reached out to me to see if my problem had been fixed. I didn't lose any water last night so I decided to write this review for anyone who may have the same problem. I would recommend Alex and his Company Leak Hunters to anyone in the phoenix area!!

We had a leak in our pool that we were not able to find on our own. After some research I found Leak Hunters online and the reviews were great. Alex was very nice on the phone and was able to schedule a time to take a look within a couple of days. However, due to prior companies that had worked on other plumbing issues in our house charging us a ridiculous amount of money to fix the problems, I was really nervous about it and expected the worst. Alex and Spencer arrived at the earliest time quoted and really lived up to their amazing reviews. Alex was very up front with what he was doing and how much everything would cost down to the time it would take to repair the leaks. They were both very professional, up front and put my mind at ease. They did not leave me with thousands of dollars out of pocket. The price was reasonable and they even cleaned up when they were finished so it looked like they were never there. I will definitely use Leak Hunters again if needed (but in a good way, hopefully it’s not needed). Thank you for your professionalism.

I had to schedule my appointment about a month and a half to 2 months in advance. Alex was polite and did mention a $300 fee for the leak inspection on the phone. When he came over he turned on the water for the floatation device which was off after previous work had been done. Thus the culprit for lack of water and me having to fill with a hose was found. Apparently not the water loss I had feared. He turned on/off the pop up system. He gave me a few tips about what to buy for cleaning the pool and that was about it. I plead ignorance on the floatation water valve. I am not a pool equipment/plumbing expert by any means, although I am pretty capable of keeping it clean and chemically balanced. He said there was nothing else to check for as far as leaks which surprised me and charged the full $300. It seemed like a pricey maybe 10 minute visit max, to me, hence my 3.5 stars if it were available, but I wasn't going to haggle. A pricey bit of ignorance on my part, lesson learned. You can use your own judgment on the value. I get he is a professional and needs to be paid for his work, being a small business owner myself, but I personally found it a bit much for the amount of return and time it took to get him out here. My rating reflects the value of the visit.

TWO YEARS LATER
I had an issue with my filter housing leaking and the pump basket losing water. I was convinced that the filter housing was cracked. I called Alex because of the customer service he provided. He come out within 2 days and told my that My housing wasn’t leaking from a crack but the dog has been peeing on it 🤦‍♀️. I guess my sense of smell is going. He showed me some maintainence areas I needed to do and that was that. He was very kind, didn’t make me feel stupid and bonded over huskies.
He could have totally advised a new filter and taken advantage of me but he is very honest!

I called Alex in a panic this morning, worried about an air leak in the pool plumbing. He was the 3rd number I called and he answered right away.
I am sure I sounded like a ditz because I was worried that the whole system would blow up 😂😅. He was so calm and respectful and talked me through some possibilities and basically solved it over the phone. All without making feel like an idiot. Thank you Alex!!!

Alex was A+ from start to finish. We contacted him on a Friday with a major unidentified pool leak and he was here on time as promised on Tuesday morning. Alex quickly identified where the leak was and offered great insights on other issues that our current pool company had missed or chosen to shortcut around. My swimming pool had lost all of its water 10k gallons in less than 2 weeks. After various troubleshooting with pool companies I called Alex to see if he could find where the leak was and hopefully then proceed accordingly.
He was able to determine one the leak was coming from the main drain and offered some recommendations on how to repair the issue which saved me hundreds of dollars! His 300.00 cost is well worth it!

Had a major pool leak problem--suddenly losing 4-5 inches a day. Alex responded quickly--first two companies could not send anyone out for 2-3 days, even for an initial investigation. Better yet he figured out that the real problem was a broken backwash valve. And he only charged for a quick visit, not the (reasonable) $300 full leak diagnostic charge. Always nice to deal with a true professional.

Horrible service. Call to get a quote to repair my pool leak and in less than 2 minutes he told me Alex needed to go and he was too busy to give me a quote when I was asking him questions. This type of business makes me laugh. Take your business seriously, otherwise it will never grow. I don’t imagine working with this person, thanks I found it out upfront.

Alex was extremely knowledgeable and accurate, despite my leak being over 6 feet down under a bunch of bushes! This is a photo of the guys actually fixing the leak and how deep they had to go. But Alex found it!

If I could give Alex 100 stars I would. I called Leak Hunters after struggling and failing to get service from another company. He came to my door about half an hour after I told him my story mostly out of indignant frustration. He tested my pool for leaks on the spot and charged me a third less than the other company for it. He gave me further information on how to properly manage my pool and some basic information on how the systems work and why. I am incredibly grateful for his willingness to help me at such short notice. I will definitely be calling again if I need more help.

I highly recommend Leak Hunters if you have a pool leak. He is on time, very knowledgeable about pools and issues regarding leaks. He is honest and targets the leak with what is necessary. He will not go to the most expensive testing unless he has ruled out other possibilities. In my case he did not have to. He had to come back to my house because of the company I hired to fix the pool did not repair the leak properly. Alex showed me with dye where the leak was. I appreciate his expertise, honesty, and him showing up on time.

The condition of the furnace in the basement had gotten pretty bad over the years. Theodor came over for the furnace cleaning job and was extremely meticulous with the task. He took the burners apart and cleaned out all the soot that had built up over the years. He also recommended cleaning the air ducts because they had gotten pretty clogged. I can tell that the house is warming up much faster and the heat is more consistent. He was very polite and made sure the work site was cleaned up before he left for the day.
