In February 2025 I suspected I might have an under slab water leak. At the recommendation of Shower and Bath LLC who recommended and contacted Underground Detection Services to determine if and where I might have a leak. Underground Detection Service showed up at my home and spent approximately 1 hour listening and trying to discover if I had a leak. The individual doing the test was easy to talk to and answered questions. Upon completion of the inspection I was told I had a leak close to the wet bar but never received a written report. About a week later after contacting a plumber to provide a quote on re-plumbing my home. The plumbing company ran a pressure check on the entire house prior to starting to re-plumb. The plumbing company after 1 hour pressure testing determined no leak and no reason to re-plumb. Shower and Bath presented the $400 bill that Underground Detection Service charged to to find a leak that I DID NOT HAVE. Costly lesson for me. Would recommend always do a pressure check first and not count on getting good advice from shower or bath contractor or that leak detection is accurate.
