A very professional organization. Overall very impressed with Chips Tree Service, they know what they're doing and do a good job. Jack, a certified arborist, very knowledgeable and his comments and advice were spot-on. Jonathan, Juan and crew did a great job replacing my landscape lighting. I wasn't happy with the fixtures they'd brought, they were very patient with my request for different fixtures. Carey did a great job installing some additional lighting to complete the project and also made helpful recommendations. The office team was responsive, upbeat and friendly. I look forward to Chips pruning my trees after the growing season.

Hired Chips Tree Service for the trimming of several trees. One of the trees is a ficus with fungus. They claimed that they would treat it 3 times to try and save it. Also trim out the infected branches. When I requested someone come back out to show a branch that had fungus they assured me the crew would come back and remove it. The crew came out and removed several more branches but left the one that had been discussed. I'm very disappointed with their services.

Update: Chips manager has reached out to make things right and although we are dissapointed it got this far, we understand that these things can happen and appreciate the effort. We may update this review further after they complete the services that we paid for that have not yet been completed, as well as the additional promisses made.

I wanted to have a great experience with Chips but it has gone completely downhill and I cannot get a resolution, let alone anyone to even respond to me. We hired Chips to trim 2 large mesquites and take one down and replant it with a replacement about 6 months ago. The replacement tree alone was around $5k and we are easily $10k into what we have spent with them in total. At that time we also were sold what they called a "Soil Injection Program" which was explained as a quarterly treatment for all three trees to keep them fertilized and healthy. We had them back out a month ago to trim the 3 trees again, and airspade the roots of one, this was another $2000+. During this trip they broke an arm of a cactus we had (so sad!!). They didn't tell me, I called them out, and after much back and forth, they offered to replace it. I didn't accept because I still preferred my cactus to anything else, and we agreed on a $225 credit, and they would plant the broken arm next to the existing. Before the arm was replanted, they charged my card on file for the balance without telling me, and the charge included an additional, erroneous charge to "apply superfeed". I asked what that was and they said it was a mistake and they would refund it. To this day they have not. I also inquired on when they would be out for the "soil injection program" that we paid for in April, and they have refused to respond to that question. I have called, emailed, text, repeatedly, for weeks now. No one will reply to me. This has been a stupid mess. All over $100+ miss charge for a service that wasn't provided, (and STILL not refunded) and their failure to answer my inquiry about when they will perform the quarterly service we prepaid for.

Jack, Umberto, Gustavo and their crew were absolute pros. We had to remove a dying old-growth pine from our backyard, and they totally came through for us.

Our tree was tightly nestled between a side wall and the roof of our house making it a tough spot to take down without any damage. The Chips squad made it look like a breeze. They even cleaned up our entire roof afterward like nothing happened.

It's never fun to pony up for a big cost like this, but Chips made it as painless as possible. Thanks, guys!

We had 2 giant palm trees in the front yard that we needed removed due to poor health of the trees, palm branches would fall on the vehicles, plus birds would poop on our vehicles daily.

Hands down the best price not by tens of dollars but hundreds!! Great service, fast clean up.

Chips Tree and Landscape did an excellent job of removing our tall ash tree in the backyard. Alan helped us design our backyard while staying in our budget. He is very creative with his ideas. We enjoyed working with Alan. The work crews were very prompt,
and pleasant to work with during their time here. We would highly recommend Chips Tree and Landscape .

I have so many trees beside my home and Chips has done a great job in trimming them and treating a couple for disease that I never knew was there. They pointed out the signs so I could understand. Now my trees are healthy and lovely too. My trees shade my home to keep it much cooler than my neighbors. CHIPS helps me keep them healthy too. Love this company!

Chips Tree Service has provided professional, knowledgeable and experienced tree trimming service, as well as installing a new irrigation system for our front yard within the last couple of months. Allen, Chips’ certified arborist, listened carefully to what our tree trimming/fertilizing & irrigation system needs are, and made thoughtful recommendations to improve tree health and sustainability, as well as fixing our irrigation systems’ frequent leaks. Allen was honest, polite and trustworthy as he expedited both projects immediately. I can’t say enough nice things about his customer care and support.
And Chips’ teams of experienced, hardworking, reliable and professional staff are masters at shaping, thinning and transforming shaggy, overgrown trees…and they are fast!!! Same speedy turnaround time with installation of the new irrigation system!! These workers truly know how to work together and get the job completed efficiently and properly! There is no lack of equipment or tools to do difficult, labor-intensive tasks quickly. It only took approximately 2 hours to dig through rocks & dirt, lay down tubing, connect to water supply, cover the tubing and finally test that everything was working fine. I am so lucky to have found such a great company to help me with my landscaping needs. You can be assured that Chips Tree Trimming will take care of your yard maintenance needs promptly, professionally and efficiently, no matter what your landscaping needs may be. I highly recommend this company.

Moses and his crew came and removed our large diseased ficus tree in 30 minutes flat! They paid special attention to lighting and drip system. They did an excellent job in protecting yard fixtures and cleaned up nicely! Top notch professionalism! 👍👍

I had chips come out a few months ago to landscape my backyard plus add and repair my irrigation and lighting system. Bottom line, I was unhappy with the landscaping. Unfortunately I thought I would have to live with it for the time being. I did call the company and said that a couple of the plants had died. Judy, (project manager) came out and understood why I wasn’t happy. She redid the landscaping beyond my expectations. She came out with Sam and santos, which were fantastic, and supervised the job herself. I can’t thank her enough for her customer service, knowledge, and time.Judy is the best! She really cared that I was finally happy. It looks just how i envisioned it to look! Thank you chips. Highly recommend!

I had an arborist out at my property last week to take a look at an ash tree the size of my house I wanted removed. Not only did they give me a good price, but they were also able to get the job done just 3 days later excellently! The crew was very professional and hard working and were able get my tree out within an hour! Great company, definitely would recommend to anyways who’s needs tree care!

This was a big job and took several teams of people to complete it. Started with tree removal crew, using a large crane to take down at least a 30' mature tree with a base of about 3' in diameter. The tree was massive, and the crew did a fantastic job skillfully taking it down piece by piece. It took them about 3-4 hours and when they left you didn't even know they were here. The tree climber and crane operator strategically cut each piece and lowered them in tight surrounding without an issue. REAL PROs!

The second crew involved the stump removal/grinder team and skid steer operator, as their work was to remove the large remaining stump and 2' high mound covering about 16' square, bringing it down, level with the sidewalk. In addition, they had to remove the stump. This was a different team of workers and once again, when it was all done, you didn't know they had been here other than the evidence that the stump was gone! The crews were very professional and customer oriented.

I would highly recommend this company and would use them again. Oh wait, there is another team to recognize. The office team. Briana Grove and Yesenia Aguilar are the perfect example of customer service. Although I had issues with my phone, they made every effort in notifying me, keeping me up to date on status. We did experience a scheduling issue, but Yesenia was on it and jumped to make things right and work! You gotta love that type of customer service! I do and will remember this company and refer them to my friends, family, and anyone else that I learn of that needs this type of work. GREAT JOB you all!

Chips is a great company to work with! They communicated very effectively about scheduling, and which step they were doing when. I do plan to have them come out one more time to check some of my drip system. All plants are doing well and we appreciated our salesman’s friendliness!

The stump removal went smoothly and on schedule. The guys were thorough and courteous. Best of all they restored the yards appearance. We can't tell where the tree was. BRAVO & THANK YOU!!!

A large tree went down in the middle of the night while I was out of town. Chips acted quickly when I called. They cleared my driveway immediately so I could use the garage when I returned that day and then came back the day after new years to remove the tree off the house with a crane, get rid of the tree, and remove and grind the tree stump. They were prompt, efficient and courteous. I hope this doesn't happen again, but if it does I will be calling Chips for sure.

Chips Tree Service is fantastic! My front yard was very bland and in desperate need of a makeover. Mitchell came out and quickly provided us with a comprehensive landscape design. Very reasonable quotes for full demo, tree stump removal and planting, waste haul away, and turf installation. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a new landscape for their home! Coming up on a year with our new yard and invited them back out for follow-up trimming and maintenance.

Initially met with one of their Arborists and received a quote after walking the property. The price was very competitive. I had at least 10 large overgrown trees in my backyard and front yard. The crew arrived early, introduced themselves and after showing them what I wanted trimmed proceeded to do so in the 112° heat. Not only did they do a phenomenal job of trimming & cutting, they picked up all debris that fell into my neighbors yards and also cleaned my yard and left it looking better than when they arrived. I highly recommend Chips Tree & Landscape for all your Tree & Landscape Maintenance & Management needs!

Wonderful experience working with the crew from Chips Tree Service, including total renewal of our landscaping drip system, set up of the new control box with the internet app, and planting of new shrubs and palm. They even installed all new rock gravel over the entire yard (front and back) after removing a dead palm and grinding out the stump. Also great is the promotional interest free loan they can provide to make it easier to cover the cost.
We highly recommend Chips for your landscaping needs.

We’ve used Chips three or four times now, and the service has always been great. The crews always manage to leave the area cleaner than they found it, and they do a great job with the trimming.

We have worked with Chips Tree Service in the past. They have always done a great job. Just had two trees and a cactus trimmed by Humberto and his crew. They did a fantastic job!
