I am so grateful for this company! As a single parent with a busy schedule, I wasn’t able to keep up with my pool. Since I started using this company, I haven’t worried about my pool at all. They are taking such great care of it. They go above and beyond my expectations…as they were just servicing my pool yesterday and last night there was a bad storm which left my pool a mess. I called the company this morning and even though they were so busy, they helped me over the phone to get started on the cleanup. They even stopped by while in the area to check on it. The customer service is fantastic and I highly recommend this company!!!

I am more than happy with Blue Utopia Pools since they have undergone new ownership. Kurt the owner has brought his charm and midwestern values to this business. His overall high quality and blue collar work ethic has more than earned my business. When my pump tool a nose dive he was there faster than proposed as the summer heat set in. It was replaced up and running before the sweltering heat could hinder the quality of the water in my oasis of zen that is my pool.

I connected with the new owner of the business, Kurt. Good and honest guy. Installed a new pump for less than I was quoted by two others and it works great (and saves me on my electric bill because it’s variable speed). And now he has one of his guys doing my weekly service. A couple weeks into that and I’m very happy.
UPDATE: I also now hired Blue Utopia to install a few filter (changes from DE filter to cartridge, which is much easier to maintain) and to convert my pool to salt water. And I paid them to do an acid wash and chlorine bath to spruce everything up. SUPER HAPPY with the results.

Blue Utopia installed a brand new heater for our pool and spa this past October. When our vacation rental guest let us know the water was not even warm, I called Kurt to schedule a service call. The heater is still under warranty and he wanted to charge 125.00 to come out to diagnose the problem. I had our pool tech check the error code and called Kurt back to start warranty repair. No call back yet and that was 3 days ago. I called Pentair this morning to initiate a different company to come out and our equipment is not even registered. The pool company on our other property took care of the registration and Kurt never gave us direction for registration. Poor response time, poor follow up from Blue Utopia.

Kurt replaced our pump and help us rejuvenation our backyard! Highly recommended and easy to work with!

Kurt’s response below is ridiculous. It won’t allow me to put a response under his response. However, i have had 5 different companies come out since 2 weeks of Kurt claiming to be complete with the work. I am a very knowledgeable general contractor that professional builds and flips home. Most of my guys have worked with me 10plus years. All 5 companies stated identical problems with the work provided on not only one property but 2 properties he did at the same time. Kurt has always made excuses on why his work is correct and others are wrong. I am not in suing Kurt so this is the last message I respond to no matter how many more lies he tries to cover his tracks. You’ve been warned about this company.

Kurt the owner did a $13,000 job. He claimed to have redone the entire plumbing and heat. The heat has never worked, the plumbing had leaks and a break under the concrete which was spilling 43,000 gallons of water a month. The “heater” he installed stained my pool copper. The pool has yet to not ever leak, all the new equipment installed has leaks. Nothing is working. I’m now $22,000 in the negative from his job. The pool had brand new pebble tech and it is stained due to his poor workmanship. DO NOT HIRE KURT! RUN!

I've had a great experience with Kurt and Tara at Blue Utopia. They take care of our pool and spa at a rental property where we live out of state. They are our eyes and ears when we are away. They are consistent in their cleaning schedules and always keep us aware of any potential issues with our pool. We will happily continue to use them for their professional and quality services.

Got Blue Utopia info from a friend for a salt cell install. Kurt came out and gave me a quote. He answered all my questions since I had some concern about changing from a chlorine pool to a salt pool. Very knowledgeable. The install went very well that I decided to go on service with them also. Service has been great. Recommend this pool company to anyone!

The owner Kurt was amazing. I drained my pool over the weekend, to find out on Tuesday my pump went out. I got an extremely quick response and a new pump installed the same week. Would highly recommend them for any pool service you are needing.

I HIGHLY recommend Blue Utopia Pools for all your pool needs! Our pool was green and barely functioning. Kurt was very professional and knowledgeable! He was able to come assess the pool the same day I called and scheduled the repairs the same week. We will definitely be using Blue Utopia Pools for monthly service!

Blue Utopia Pools, have been very responsive to our needs. We have had many "pool service" companies in the past. But, our pool issues just continued, after many expensive repairs that "others" said would fix the issues? I talked to Kurt about the issues we were having. He immediately came over and took a look. Gave me a competitive price for the maintenance on our pool. Our technician is always on time and very friendly. We receive an email with the pool conditions and a picture of our pool. If there is another issue, when I call Kurt - he will come to take a look - within a couple hours - even after hours. Never is there an issue that he hasn't addressed and fixed. NOW, for the issue that we had with the pool. The issues continued with our pool - Kurt was over numerous times addressing the issue - but not telling us we need to drain the pool or fix something - he just continued to work hard. He finally found the issue and our pool looks wonderful now. We have no issues and everyone with Blue Utopia Pools are very friendly. Couldn't be any better or more responsive to our needs..... All this at a lower "over-all" cost than any other company that we have hired.

Everything about this business is above the rest. I have owned my own pool for 8 years now and for 6 of those years struggled repeatedly to find a company that was actually good at their jobs. Thank God I finally found Kurt and Blue Utopia Pools! Kurt and his team answer any question I may ever have, are deliberate in their work, and are overall very trustworthy. My pool has never looked nearly as good as it does now and I don’t recommend wasting time hiring anyone but them to care for and maintain your pool!
