Be careful of this company. They do not provide any documentation for the work done or planned in the form of invoices, estimates, and guarantees. Everything is word of mouth. They do not provide written estimates even when the HOA requires it. Asked many times for this. Their guarantee is to say that they will fix anything regarding their work when there is problems after installation. I had a problem with the work and called/texted at least 10 times and nothing was ever done and after the first 3, they never responded. Quality work is the last thing they think of. So unprofessional and no attention to detail. To top it off, a lot of the Google reviews are made by the owner, family (Robles), and friends. No wonder such a high review rating.

Be cautious of this company! They will not give you anything in writing, it is word of mouth only! If another project is mentioned, the head guy will hound you about doing that particular project too! They did not finish the last project! They also way overcharged us and wouldn’t discuss it! They were less than forthcoming in letting us know if they weren’t coming on an agreed time or day!

Matt and his team transformed our backyard to an oasis we can enjoy! It was a big project! After our pool was installed we contracted with him to install 56’ wide x 9’ deep pavers, a turf area, put down another layer of coping, build two water feature towers, install drainage lines and replace rock. Also, In front of the gate they built a 36” walkway going to the driveway and extended the driveway on both sides. Beautiful work, tight seams with the pavers. We have seen his work at someone else’s home and had to call him. They were conscientious about keeping the area safe for our dog when the gate was off for the work. The crew cleaned up at the end of the project and we don’t have any clean up to do after them. We will have Sunset Sky back for more work.

The crew did a really nice job setting the patio pavers in a randomized pattern and cutting the border bricks for a great looking edge. They were also very helpful with relocation of the gravel and getting some of the surrounding areas ready for an irrigation system.

We highly recommend Sunset Sky for anyone considering a landscape improvement project.

Sunset sky landscaping did an excellent job taking my dirt back yard to an amazing low maintenance place to hangout. The owner has been very responsive to any questions and problems.

We recently hired Matt and team for our outdoor project which included installing pavers and turf, building a custom built in BBQ/kitchen and fire pit, and putting in an above ground hot tub. After an initial bumpy start, Matt and his team delivered a wonderful backyard addition and front yard landscaping. His workmen are great - diligent, timely, friendly and go the extra mile to meet the client's expectations. All this at a very reasonable price. I would recommend them highly.

We engaged Mathew to 'upgrade' our patio area that consisted of an odd mix of flagstone and exposed aggregate concrete. Anticipating the demo of the old patio and installation of pavers, Mathew advised the overlaying of the old patio with travertine (may not be a viable option in all scenarios) - thus saving some costs associated with demo and giving us an end product that is a cooler surface and, IMO, a more attractive result. We also had a gas fire feature added which will add to our enjoyment. Hats off to Mathew and the crew of Fernando and Edgardo for the end result. We're very pleased.

Sunset Sky installed a sidewalk from front driveway all the way to the back patio, plus extended the patio by an extra 10 feet. Looks great and very reasonable cost. Many compliments from friends and family.
