My wife and I were looking to develop an outdoor space for a 14 year old house. I had three bids, talked with several contractors on options using natural organic material. Was ready to give up, but have 10 weeks we finally met Sean. He heard what we wanted, steered us to an existing design in his portfolio. Within 1 week we had an agreement including design, material, color,... The crew was very knowledgeable, started early, and handled the details. We had one moment of decision making but did not lose a step. I believe there were three material deliveries, one the crew refused because it was incorrect. Worked in the excessive heat and when they left the place was neat and clean. 👍

The end product is fantastic, awesome, ... It fits perfectly into the architecture of the house. It looks like the structure always was there. 😀 The materials captured our intentions within the project and was right on budget. It was a great pleasure for my wife and I to work with Sean and his team. The result is approximately 700 sq. ft. of patio space that we love and will continue to enjoy as it develops over the years. 👏

Sean did a great job on our backyard privacy project.

I contacted Sean, told him I did not want to see the new home that was being built behind the one side of our backyard and he took care of the rest. His passion and attention to detail allowed him to design an all natural solution that combined trees and large bushes and looks completely natural while providing full privacy between our back yard and our new neighbors home.

Sean came over to my home several times during the design phase to make sure his solution would not impact any of our existing mountain and city light views. Sean is so pleasant to work with and I felt like I was able to be involved as much I wanted in the process.

We were very, very happy with the outcome of our patio project. The patio is now our sanctuary. And I am convinced that it will be a major selling point for our home in the future. Decided to fix up my house this last year starting with getting rid of the grass in the front yard in exchange for desert landscaping. Planning on staying in my home for years to come and I wanted something special but didn't know anything about outdoor design. That is when I met Sean. We had been looking for someone to build a shade structure that had rustic wood logs to match our Territorial/Santa Fe Style house. When I came across Mountainscapers Landscaping website and saw the photos, I was hopeful that they could achieve the look. And they did. Sean was efficient and very communicative every step of the way. We were very particular with what we wanted and he and his crew delivered! Whenever we addressed any concerns along the way, he was always willing to do so and with such positivity. I never felt like I was "being difficult" or putting him out (like my experience with other contractors had been in the past). He always put me at ease and was willing to hear and give me exactly what I wanted. The crew was respectful and always cleaned up their mess at the end of the workday which I greatly appreciated as well. We are so happy with the results both esthetically and quality-wise. In fact, we are currently devising ways to add more shade structures because we love it so much! Will definitely be calling Sean again soon!

Today I had a zoom design consultation with Sean from MountainScapers. I was quite pleasantly surprised with this call and approach. I consider my project to be challenging, and previous design consultations with other companies have fallen flat. Sean took the time to understand my needs and desires, and then working with me using a site view of the property, walked through various options that deliver a big wow factor, bridging the discussion with photos of recent projects that illustrated his concepts for my project. If the deliverables match the design consultation, I will be exceptionally happy!

Sean and his various crews on different parts of the project did an incredible job on my back patio. He was creative in designing and agile when it came to making changes that would either create a more beautiful or functional space. His crew paid great attention to detail and cleaned up as much as possible after the day’s work, which I immensely appreciated. He built me a patio that is now my favorite place in my house to sit, read, and relax.

We were looking for a design firm that would provided us with a unique, desert landscape and Sean did just that. We will be returning for future improvements in other areas of our property.

Scope of project: enclosed backyard with block wall + that custom gate, full laser grading and mounding across a large corner lot, removed grass lawn and replaced with full xiroscape rock, gorgeous riprap border. After several heavy rains, drainage is great. Could not be more satisfied! :)

I wanted to convert my ugly yard with nothing but right angles to curves and organic shapes. Sean worked with me and converted my concepts and desires into reality. I wanted a curved bar and BBQ - and Mountainscapers came up with a unique design, recommending a shade structure and water feature along with lots of trees and desert tolerant plants (NO CACTUS). Sean was always creative and collaborative recommending improvements to the design and ultimately delivering an environment - no longer just a yard. It's my "outside office" and a space we now use 10 months out of the year.
