Can't say enough good things about Rob and his team. Rob is exactly the kind of person you want to do business with. His communication speed is impeccable, and he has good ideas but still seeks your feedback and defers to your opinion. He transformed our backyard into an oasis that is a daily source of joy. Look no further than Coconut Contracting!!!!!

We use Coconut Contracting for all of our major landscaping projects, as well as our regular landscaping maintenance. Rob and the team are responsive, answer all of our questions, and do excellent work. They are easy to work with and their pricing is very competitive (you get what you pay for!). I would highly recommend Coconut Contracting for all of your landscaping needs.

Rob and his team truly exceeded my expectations! I was often undecided on what to do - our yard is big and it is an unusual shape. He welcomed the design challenges with enthusiasm. I felt free to share all my ideas (and I had a lot of them). They also worked within our budget and made changes when necessary to meet it. We decided to continue to use his group for our the maintenance of our yard and it has never looked better. My kids now call it "the park" because it is so beautiful.

Rob landscaped my entire property and it was perfect. Exactly as promised at a fair price. I've moved and I'm in the process of using him again. I have no concerns about Rob's design skills or creativity and he and his team do what they say they will. Highly recommended.

We are so pleased with the look and quality of the work done in our backyard. Rob helped us design the project, and when finished, it was just what we were hoping for. Attention to detail was a priority, and that makes the difference! It is a pleasure doing business with someone who is both professional and personable- easy to talk to and share ideas with . We highly recommend Coconuts , so much so that we are having additional work done in our yard!

Rob and his crew were a pleasure to work with on an expansion of our rear patio. It was a small project but it was completed efficiently and with attention to detail. Work started promptly at 7am daily and the job site was left neat and clean every day. We are delighted with the results and look forward to working with Rob on future projects. Rob and his crew at Coconut Contracting do the regular landscape maintenance for our property too!

Coconut Contracting just completed a "refresh" of our front and side yards. We couldn't be more pleased with the final product that really transformed both curb appeal and functionality. Rob Gruber is the owner, and he is knowledgeable, communicative and clear about pricing and options for your budget. His crew, lead by the wonderful Gerardo, is top-notch. I highly recommend Rob and Coconut Contracting.

We have used Rob and his team for 5 years. He originally designed and installed a wonderful solution for our back yard. Since then we have used him for general landscape maintenance. He is now working on a repair of our back wall. In all instances, Rob and his team have been honest, creative, skilled, and a delight to work with. I highly recommend and endorse Coconut Contracting. You will be satisfied beyond your expectations.

Rob and his crew were great and did an amazing job installing new pavers on my back patio. It was a small job by most standards, and many companies I called wouldn’t even give me a quote. But Rob squeezed me in between some larger projects and it took his crew just 1 day to complete my patio. So happy with the results, and his crew were efficient and very courteous. They earned these 5 stars and I’d happily have them back to complete the rest of my back yard in the future.

We hired Coconut Contracting based on a referral from a friend who lives in McCormick Ranch. We were looking to completely redo the landscaping on a townhome we purchased in Scottsdale that had very basic landscaping. This is our second home today and will be our retirement home in a few years, so getting it right mattered.

We had already started plans with another designer, but that relationship did not work out—the designer simply didn’t “get” us. Rob was different from the very beginning. He listened carefully to everything we wanted and immediately understood our priorities. When I explained that we had a small yard and wanted to make use of every inch, he fully embraced that challenge.

Our vision included an outdoor kitchen with both a gas grill and a Kamado grill, a fountain, a beehive fireplace, pavers covering roughly 80% of the yard, and a cactus-forward desert aesthetic. We were also considering a pergola and a covered extension. We started the planning process months in advance, and Rob was patient throughout. We went through multiple design iterations as we refined and dialed in the plan, and he never rushed the process. His large-scale, highly detailed drawings were extremely professional and gave us confidence before construction ever began.

We were out of state at our primary residence for roughly the first 75% of the project. I had cameras installed at the front of the property and could watch some of the early progress remotely. About halfway through the project, I came out to select the granite for the outdoor kitchen, and with help from Rob’s crew chief, I installed cameras in the backyard as well. That allowed me to watch the final stages—planting, fireplace construction, and finishing work—from out of state.

Rob’s crew is exceptional. They work like a tight-knit family. They are detail-oriented and do not cut corners. I watched hours of them working. They actively consult with each other, debate angles and placement, and redo work when something doesn’t come out exactly right. They are extremely competent, and when rework is required, they take it on without hesitation or attitude.

The yard was beautifully graded, the patio layout is graceful and well balanced, and the team followed the plans precisely—including plant placement, rock selection, and berm design. I rarely encounter workers whose standards match my own, but this crew is focused, disciplined, and holds itself to a very high bar.

We are extremely pleased with the final outcome and would confidently recommend Coconut Contracting to anyone looking to create a high-quality, thoughtfully designed outdoor living space.

Amazing selection of pots and plants. (You could say I'm a little picky and even I was able to find just the right things!) :) Green Goddess updated our front yard - everything from adding more gravel, to adding more plants and 2 new trees - even custom ordering just the right trees for our needs. They also gave us privacy bushes for the back yard after our neighbors new yard guys trimmed their hedges back so far we could see into their house. And they beautified our entire home when they found a way to add planters with the most beautiful and lush, seasonal flowers flanking either side of the garage. (And every season they plant NEW lush flowers for a nominal fee). My stepmother was recently over and she said our yard has never looked more beautiful....and she's even pickier than I am! Haaa!

Warmest thanks to the fabulous team at Green Goddess for making our house feel (and look) more like a home.

The fountains are beautiful but I caution you when buying a large one. Because when it’s time to change out the lights and the motor, you can’t do it by yourself and they will constantly tell you they are “two months out“ (even in the dead summer months) to get someone to come out and replace it .

The Green Goddess is fun to walk around and look at, but there was no one to be found to help find what I was looking for. When I finally got help, they didn't even have what I wanted- a dwarf citrus tree. They have a nice selection of …

You walk into the nursery you see all the beautiful items and plants for sell then you see 2 large cages one with parrots and another with African greys. When I saw the condition these beautiful birds were living in I wanted to cry. Looked like a small bowl filled with dog food on the mud looking ground. No proper way to shield themselves from the heat or cold. Dirty water, no toys that were worth anything to keep the birds amused. Hopefully something can be done to help them if I can.

Wonderful store with a plentiful supply of beautiful pots/planters (which is why we visited) as well as plants, statues, fountains, and wallpieces. I loved the selection of pots and was happy that we found some gorgeous pieces. Loved the whimsical pieces as well...

If you want to blow your budget in one place this is it!
The good news about Green Goddess is that they have a lot of products: plants, fountains, pots, etc. If you can't find something anywhere else you might find it here and it might be worth the 200% price increase. Or more.

The bad news is the customer service and outrageous prices.

Came here for the first time and left with a sick feeling. They have two cages with beautiful birds that are in just terrible condition. Most are missing their feathers, which is obviously a sign of poor health and stress. I also did not see any water available for them. The manager was very dismissive about the state of these birds. If you can't take care of these living creatures, I sure as hell want nothing to do with your business.

I will never be coming back here for any kind of plants or services. I will also be following up with the PD and Humane Society because this is honestly just cruelty. If you live in the Phoenix neighborhood-- do NOT support this DIRTY business.
