I highly recommend Jones Moving for the peace of mind and feeling of security they provide. Steve and Candice Jones are the owners and operators. They came out to our home to preview the move of our 2500 sq ft home's contents. Candice was available for my numerous texts and calls on how to pack delicate items. This was a huge move from Michigan to California for us. Their clean, modern 70' tractor-trailer rig was carrying only our furniture. We felt secure knowing exactly who was handling our precious goods. We moved many glass and fragile items. Everything arrived safely in perfect condition. They loaded and delivered promptly just as promised. Their helpers were like family, very friendly and professional.

These movers were worth their weight in gold. We moved about a half hour down the road but had a good amount of heavy wooden furniture and a couple of appliances to move, and we have a toddler so we knew we had to move quickly. Jones Moving and Storage moved us out of our 1700 sq ft house and into our new place in about 5 hours, which was pretty incredible. They were fast, efficient, had everything they needed, and were careful with our stuff. Overall we were exceptionally happy with the staff, the price, and the professionalism! If you’re thinking about moving soon, these are your guys.

I hired Jones Moving to do my move last week and they were outstanding!! The 3 man crew worked fast and were super careful with all my furniture and boxes. And talk about strong! I had a piano and large heavy bookshelf that they moved with ease. They came recommended to me from a friend and I have already recommended them to another friend who is moving. I guess you could say we like to keep it all in the family, the Jones Family that is!!

Jones Moving and Storage was amazing! My son moved from Royal Oak, MI to Miami FL. Candace was as kind and patient and accommodating as she could be. We had so many moving parts with my son’s move. She was understanding and patient. Her son Alex who packed and moved my son’s belongings was as kind , and professional as could be. They made a very stressful transition and process seamless and smooth! Thank you again!

Although I cancelled my move from Arizona to Florida, Jones Moving & Storage was professional in all our correspondence. When they came to my home to provide an accurate estimate, the team was pleasant, knowledgeable, thorough and very helpful. After the visit, they followed up promptly with a written estimate and worked with me to make the move as economical as possible. In the end, I was confident that the move would be handled well and that I would be pleased with their service.

Highly recommend for local movers- the movers are so friendly and careful with your belongings and they get the job done fast. I do NOT recommend them for storage- the minimum hours + 1 still applies even if you meet them outside the storage unit and it only takes half an hour or less… They won’t let you move your own belongings or be on the property because of liability. Recommend for local moving though! I hope they pay the movers well.

I encourage everyone to not hire this company due to their lack of integrity and professionalism. The way my valuable items was nothing short of negligent, like it was tossed into a truck with no concern of it arriving to its destination in one piece.

One year ago I hired Jones Moving to move my belongings from a storage unit to a moving truck. Unfortunately, I wasn’t there to observe how they packed the moving truck but I trusted Candice who is one of the owners of Jones moving. They packed my belongings in such an unsecured way that by the time it arrived to the destination, over half of my things were damaged. This included a brand new computer, an expensive TV stand, bed frame, box springs and various other smaller delicate items. In total, I incurred over 2k in damages having to replace and repair mostly everything of value.

I paid Candice $680 to move my belongings for me. She offered me a $200 settlement which covered about 10% of my losses but at that point I was willing to take any kind of reimbursement. A year later, Candice Jones has still not sent me the $200 settlement she promised.

DO NOT USE THEN FOR STORAGE. They stole a bunch of my stuff or lost it, now refuse to respond to me. When I finally got my stuff back after 10 years and after they dropped the boxes off I realized I had boxes that were not mine. Luckily I was a kind enough person to locate this person and mail their boxes back to them. I let Jones moving know and asked for my boxes back and now they just won’t respond. They may be good at moving but PLEASE do not use them for storage. They are very disorganized and lose peoples things.
