About the business:

My name is Jeff Dalecke and my wife and I are the owners of Dalecke Carpentry Inc. My grandfather was a cabinet maker, my uncle was cabinet maker; I guess it's in the blood. My first introduction to the trade was around the age of 12 to 13 years of age. I worked in my uncle's cabinet shop in Ohio.
I attended the University of Arizona for an architectural degree. I went there for about a year and a half and ran out of money. So I figured instead of drawing buildings I will build them.
I joined the carpenters union and enrolled in the carpenters apprenticeship program. I learned pretty much every end of Carpentry. While in the union working for others, I would pick up side jobs, and they kept getting bigger.
In 1999 I created Dalecke Carpentry Service. It started with small jobs here and there and grew to mostly cabinets. The next natural step was to open my own showroom.
January 1, 2008, Dalecke Carpentry Service was changed to Dalecke Carpentry Inc.
