As a licensed real estate agent, I understand the need for “curb appeal”. I also understand the pit-falls of “deferred maintenance”.

Gustavo has completed many projects in the community which I live in that are clearly identifyable to his work and brand. They have a “no-nonsense” - “high-level” look about them which is something that high-end homes display.

Gustavo came to my house to make an assessment and with cutting edge technology, created a front yard landscape plan with his landscape software. I immediately saw his vision for a “high-impact”, “low maintenance” desert plan.

His background in landscape knowledge in the Sonoran Desert was a plus. He recommended plants that thrive with low-care and low water. Ask him about his education!

I was simply impressed by his knowledge of how native plants, within in the area thrive. And he only recommended those types of vegetation for my home.

The result was magnificent and my neighbors have consulted with him for their landscape needs.

I have used GR design for three different projects; removing a dying saguaro, resetting some pavers and the big job re-bonding pool bull nose along with resetting about 500 square feet of pavers to improve drainage flow. The price was reasonable and the crew did a very nice job, they addressed any of my concerns directly and immediately and helped to solve a unique drainage issue. I had one call back to take of some details thus the 4 star but I would be very comfortable hiring this company for future landscape projects.

Great communication, punctuality & superior knowledge of all vines & plants. Mr. Ramirez's workers are friendly, polite and work hard. They stopped by to check on our new lawn's growth & asked if we had any questions. We will be using their services in the future for all our landscaping & yard maintenance.

Gustavo was professional and responsive from the moment he showed up for a proposal. His proposal was not only the most all encompassing for a new retaining wall and removal of old landscaping but it was the best after consulting two other companies. He completed the work on budget and on time.

We hired GR Arizona Design to completely transform our backyard, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Our project was no small task—they had to remove several tons of decorative rock just to prep the space. From there, they leveled the ground, installed Aztec tile, and laid artificial turf. This is the second time we hire them to do work in our house. This time it was to level the ground to avoid water puddling when it rains, new tile, lighting and adding flagstone. We are very impressed with how punctual and professional GR company is. They do what they say they are going to do and do it in a timely manner. I cannot recommend them enough.

Gustavo and team tackled a problem with my outdoor fountain. It hadn’t been operating for months. The fountain was built by my husband who has since passed away. It was so important for me to have the fountain operating again and I think Gustavo and the rest of his company for all the help they provided. Highly recommend.

They cleaned out an extremely old, tall, gnarly and dangerous, Palo Verde tree, and kept all of the huge branches off of the roof and the gutter. A couple of hedge bushes took a beating, but it was unavoidable given how long I let that tree go. I will always use their services and recommend them!

I can’t say enough about Arizona Sunset Landscaping. Remember getting their card and wondering if I should try them after being so disappointed with so many others. Best thing I ever did. Not only are they great and caring individuals, they do an outstanding job. Most of all they can be trusted which is most important to me.

Arizona Sunset Landscaping has been maintaining our yard and landscape for almost three years. They are reliable and knowledgeable about managing plantings in our desert climate.
