Hired them in September 2020 for weed control. They did a good job until they stopped showing up in July but kept billing me.

Edited to add: Of course it's my fault. I told them what I wanted and accepted everything exactly as they prescribed. It's the customer's fault that Horticulture Unlimited doesn't know what it takes to get the job done.

Both my wife & I had search for a landscaping company whom we believe would make our ideas and dreams come true. After extensive research and recommendations from a good friend we chose Horticulture Unlimited. Both Dawn and David the owners of the company worked closely with us throughout the project. Their supervisor in every aspect of the [project had visit our home during the project and were always available to talk to when a question a rose. Great company, both professional and making one feel like family when working with them.

We have mixed reviews of Horticulture Unlimited's services. They provided and executed a beautiful landscape design, including an outdoor kitchen space and fountain...we were extremely pleased. However, we found their monthly maintenance services to be very slow in responding to messages and requests, often not following up on items requiring special pruning or replanting of dead foliage. We recently moved to a new home and requested that they give us a quote for initial cleanup, replanting and monthly maintenance. Once the quote was given, they were uncommunicative about a timeline for the intiation of the work. After waiting several weeks for a response, we decided to go with another company.

I have been a satisfied customer of Horticultural Unlimited for a number of years. They are real professionals who are very responsive to all of my requests for service above and beyond their normal biweekly maintenance service. They are my only trusted supplier of landscaping services. They have been involved in designing, planning and delivering excellent project services. Dawn is a joy to work with!

I hired Horticulture Unlimited to provide consultation on a new landscape in my home. The company provided me with a wonderful landscape plan to scale and some suggested landscape plants that would be suitable in my yard.

They were extremely professional and proficient in their recommendations of planting material and the final project. Since, I've had the company do landscape cleanup, some pruning of established trees as well as install some flagstone for a walkway. I would hire them again. The guys with Horticulture always do an amazing job and Andrew is always available for questions or to swing by the house. We have used Horticulture for landscaping installation and for monthly yard maintenance. Great customer service.

We have used Horticulture Unlimited Inc for landscaping of our second home in Tucson. We’ve been extremely happy with the job they just recently installed in our backyard. The irrigation team was amazing. I would recommend them highly to anybody.

Terry did an excellent job fixing our drip irrigation problem. He immediately found the problem and started right away to replace old pipes. He was very knowledgeable and professional and worked in a timely manner. He checked the timer and the entire system and made adjustments where needed. We would not hesitate to have him come back in the future. Because of his great work, we will use Horticulture Unlimited for our landscape problems in the future.

I recently moved to Tucson from the East Coast. I have very little experience with any of the vegetation in the Southwest. I had tried a couple of different individuals to take care of my yard with no luck. I then reached out to Horticulture Unlimited. Everything from day one has been amazing. The lawncare is always very well done.

We had our irrigation switched to reclaimed water. This process went smoothly and the cost of the project has already paid for itself. They are always giving me ideas to make my yard look better with small projects.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone that is in need of any yard work to include adding plants, maintenance, and installation of irrigation.

Horticulture Unlimited did the most fantastic landscaping job for us. I get complemented on it. Whenever I have had an issue they have always responded in a timely manner to assist and their prices are amazingly reasonable. I intend to use Horticulture Unlimited for all of my future landscaping needs.

Horticulture Unlimited came to the rescue after my garden’s irrigation system failed and all my plants died in the summer heat. My irrigation system was completely removed and updated by Horticulture Unlimited with all new lines and timer. Rosalee discussed plant choices with me and all the plants were replaced but only after the poor soil was also replaced with rich soil. Rosalee picked out all the plants that are low care and require little water making my garden easy to care for as well as a delight to look at. Pricing was reasonable and everyone on the project patiently answered all my questions and accommodated some changes I requested. I highly recommend Horticulture Unlimited for their timeliness, attention to detail, and especially spending time with me prior, during and after the project to choose plants that fit the design of my backyard oasis.

After dealing with inexpensive, incompetent landscapers for 13 years, I realized my yard looked horrible and the money spent was not well spent. I found Horticulture Unlimited by asking several reputable nurseries whom they would recommend. From my first meetings with Horticulture Unlimited personnel, which included a meeting with one of the owners, I knew I had made the right decision. Everything is in-house, from landscape design to landscape maintenance and the owners are both degreed horticulturists, one even a certified arborist. One of the owners, Dawn Fried, has written 2 books on desert plants and landscaping--Design Build & Bloom: Creating the Perfect Southwest Landscape, and The Art of Southwest Landscaping. These books are full of plant and design ideas--which is extremely helpful if you want to have an informed conversation about the kinds of plants you prefer and what works best in your yard environment. Even with all this expertise, I found both their yard renovation and maintenance proposals to be reasonable, and every person I have dealt with returns emails and phone calls promptly and professionally. So if you are tired of paying the guy with the truck and want a garden not just a yard of rocks and struggling plants, I would not hesitate to hire Horticulture Unlimited. My only regret is I did not discover them sooner.

We used Horticulture Unlimited for our front and back landscaping. They started from scratch in the back and put in an irrigation system plus plants and a fountain. The following year we had them replace the non-native plants out front with native one and update the irrigation.
Fast forward a few years and a neighbor told us our irrigation out front had sprung a leak. I called H.U. and they sent Dan out to repair the leak. He was prompt and we were pleasantly surprised at the rate quoted for the work. It's nice to know as seasonal visitors, we can count on the crew at Horticulture Unlimited! Highly recommend them.

We have worked with Horticulture Unlimited for over ten years. The personnel has remained stable, pleasant and accommodating. Most importantly they do an excellent job all year round. We would not hesitate to recommend Horticulture Unlimited for your landscaping.

Dawn and the team at Horticulture Unlimited knocked it out of the park when it came to getting a new yard. From the design phase through the completion of the yard everything was handled professionally and with an attention to detail. They used great materials, more mature plants, skilled laborers, and everything was done at a better price than their competition. I'd recommend them if you're in the market for a new yard or looking to renovate an existing yard.

We have had a great experience with horticulture unlimited. They provided an excellent design for the front an back yards which was easily approved by the HOA and looks great. They also provided a new irrigation system, drainage and they stayed within budget. Horticulture unlimited continues to maintain the property and they are very responsive to my questions and requests. I highly recommend this company.

Two of y'alls guys blew dust, dirt, leaves, & feathers into my parked car at the Extra Space Storage on Irvington today, after I'd freshly had it detailed. Then tried to ignore me & act oblivious while I tried to get their attention just to blow it off, then gave me attitude once I pointed out my issue. Refusing to give me either of their names after blowing off my paint, yet my interior is now covering it dust again & somehow they thought it was my fault for parking at my storage unit? $100 lost to discourteous workers who couldn't go around or wait five minutes.

Had a hard time getting ahold of other landscaping businesses for many days, but Horticulture Unlimited answered and got me on the schedule right away. Andrew came out to assess what I needed (yearly residential yard cleanup) and did a great job helping to identify all areas that needed work. I am no expert at maintaining a yard. A quote was provided within about a week and another week later they were out to do the work.

Everything was spot on and Andrew and the staff took care of all items we discussed. They worked professionally and fast. They were responsive throughout the entire process. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience and will be calling HU again the next time I need a yard rescue!

We've used Horticulture Unlimited for several years now, after having tried several other yard services. These guys are terrific. They are always reliable - no fuss or bother - and do a great job for routine yard maintenance. About a year ago we thought we had a leak in the watering system and they came within an hour of our call to check it out. It turned out there was no leak, but they made adjustments and were more than professional.
Last spring when we wanted to put in more plantings but didn't know what would work, their horticulturist came to the house and checked out the yard, then emailed us several recommendations. Those recommendations all worked well and we have been very happy with all of their services.

The owners are very knowledgeable and have even published on landscape design. Their prices are on the higher end but for good service this would be completely reasonable. We found variability in quality of service week to week. We paid for irrigation and lighting maintenance for which visits occurred but no comparable repairs performed. When we asked for "extra" work to be completed the quality was substandard and had to be redone by myself. Our final straw was the work team leaving a gate open which resulted in one of our dogs getting loose.

Horticulture Unlimited completed the landscape design and installation for my backyard and I'm super happy with how it turned out! Isaac (landscape designer) did a great job creating a design that flowed really well with the space and included the elements important to me. The two-man crew, Edgardo and Juan, completed most of the work, and they were amazing and so kind!
It was definitely an investment to get my yard professionally landscaped, but now that I can actually enjoy my backyard I can easily say it's so worth it! H.U. gets 5 stars from me!
