Nick and his team are absolutely amazing! We first contacted Nick last year to see if he would be able to help us with some last minute landscaping before listing our house for sale. Nick was so accommodating that he came out the same day to see what we needed done and his team arrived the next morning to make our house look brand new! We also had Nick and his team come to our new home for some landscaping maintenance and they did an absolutely incredible job! We will continue to trust Desert Garden Services for all our landscaping needs 😊

We were very happy with the results! I couldn't wait to share Desert Garden Services contact info with our next door neighbor. He called them that same day to have them do his yard too. We've never had anyone do as great a job on cleaning and blowing our landscape rocks free from our fallen desert willow leaves and under the trees cleaning up our tree rings- which collect a lot of debris from our flowers and bushes. It looks like it was vacuumed! We'll definitely be using them again. The price was fair for the amount of work we had them do. I highly recommend them.

Tried several landscaping companies and we have decided on Desert Garden Services. Professional, punctual, know price up front and get exactly what you ask for in advance. Would have given five stars but the work truck left stains on our driveway. Next time will not invite to park on driveway.

We hired them for weed removal services. Scheduling was easy and they did a good job clearing our yard.

I have been using Desert Garden Services for regular monthly service for the last few years and have always found them to be excellent, keeping the yard weed-free and everything well-trimmed and blow-cleaned. They do specific requests, such as planting and removal, in a timely manner. Very courteous, convenient online payments.

Needed some landscaping work done around the house and contacted Desert Garden Services. They had an estimator out there the next day and the team out the day after that! Did an excellent job and even finished under the estimate. Will be calling DGS for all my future landscaping needs!

We had a great experience with Desert Garden and are looking forward to continuing our service with them. They are very knowledgeable with landscaping. They are on time, very clean, and very reasonable.

I WOULD NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY!
I have signs in multiple places regarding “no soliciting” and “no flyers”. The guy just looked at it and placed a flyer anyway right next to my sign. I understand they are just trying to get some business, but if they disrespect my wishes beforehand, why would I ever hire them? How can somebody like this do a job for me and respect what I need and ask to have done?
UPDATE TO OWNER'S RESPONSE: Your response continues to show how disrespectful you are to me, my wishes and my property. FYI, when you walk on my property, I dictate the rules. I respectfully asked that you do not leave flyers on the door, and you continue to argue about it. So, I am sorry that I can't show "much love to those who are just trying to help" me out. Based on my signs, I do not need your help. And, leaving flyers may help you, but not the owners. Many are out of town and you are advertising that. Leaving flyers is common practice but if the owner specifically asks you not to, please show some respect.

Nick and his crew are great. Nick communicates well, showed up when he said he would and did a fantastic job - our yard has never looked better!

This is our second year with Nick - along with doing amazing general landscaping, they installed corrugated reinforcements on our garden fence that are sturdy and beautiful.

We highly recommend Nick and Desert Garden Services.

It is so refreshing to have landscapers show up when they are supposed to and do what you ask! What's more, the man in charge (of the three-man team) is very friendly and communicates to the others what work needs to be done. We have a larger yard and I usually have three guys come out for about two hours every few months. We are very happy with the work that they do and the price. Brandon is easy to work with as well.

I've been a client for several years and have had positive experiences, but unfortunately will look for a different company moving forward. I booked a 2 hr job- was told it'd be 2 people for an hour since their minimum is 2 hours. The crew ended up being a single person, who asked if he could leave after an hour (although an hour clearly would not have been enough to complete the job). I said that's fine if I'm only billed for an hour. He said yes. Shortly after, I remembered the 2 hour minimum and asked him if I'd be billed the same if he worked for 1 hr vs 2 hrs. He would not answer this question directly, only saying repeatedly "the minimum is $160". I finally had to ask him point blank how much I'd be charged for 1 hr vs 2 and he finally told me it'd be the same for 1 vs 2 hrs.

He did stay for 2 hours after I asked him to and did a fairly decent job. However, I found this initial interaction very off-putting and unprofessional and would probably go with a different landscaping service in the future.

Fantastic, friendly and professional! Flat rate pricing for any service is a huge plus. I have used them multiple times and am always so pleased with their attention to detail, care taken on our property and accurate estimates. We had an enormous tree that needed to be removed and I don' believe any other company would have been able to accomplish what they did, especially for the time in which they were able to complete it and the price!

I’ve been using Desert Garden Services for yard maintenance for a few years. The guys are friendly and professional. Their work is extremely thorough; they leave my yard in pristine condition. I highly recommend them.

I am so pleased with Desert Garden Services. I had a pretty big teddy bear cholla which needed to be removed ASAP. Nick came to the house the day after I reached out; something very few business people do these days. He provided me with the best quote and was able to fit me in that same week. The cactus was promptly and expertly removed in the allotted time paid for. I would 100% hire DGS again for future gardening services.

I almost never write reviews but I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with this company. I hired them to come do some basic yard maintenance for my backyard, discussed what I wanted with the man who came to appraise it and agreed with the estimated cost. I work a lot so I am unable to be home during their work hours, so I left my gate open for them to come in and do work. I will note that I have multiple ring cameras in my yard and around the house. So of the work u asked them to do (trim the tree, trim the spiky plants that line the fence, and pull the weeds) they only trimmed my tree and then took a leaf blower to the dirt in the yard. Again, this is all on camera. I come home and not only have they massacred my tree (I’m not kidding you cut every branch below 6ft off, it looked like a dead tree after), but they didn’t touch the spiky plants and there are still weeds and loose debris around the yard!

I emailed the company with photos about how I was not pleased with their work, they did not respond. They then billed me for longer than they were there (again, ring cameras) and proceeded to call me at my work. I told them I cannot talk on the phone at work, please email me. They NEVER emailed me or responded to my email except to send invoice reminders. But they did continue to call, making it seem like to me they don’t want anything down in writing.

Now the worst part, today (DEC 3) they email me at 9:49 with an invoice that says if I don’t pay by DECEMBER 2 (yesterday) that they will add $100 to my bill. At 9:50 (1 minute later!) they email me a new bill with the additional $100. This is INSANELY unprofessional to me, and the fact that they refused to correspond over email and then add a late fee that I cannot avoid without time travel. I’m going to pay my bill so I can be done interacting with this company. I will not be paying the late fee.

I hired them based on a lot of positive reviews here, but I would be careful if you can’t be present and watching their work, and I would make sure you have cameras so that they don’t try to overcharge you the way they did me.
