Update on 9/30/24. We continue to use Menehune Services for all our landscaping needs. PJ is a very talented person who does quality work and is very dependable. The latest work involved putting in a paver patio. See the before and after pictures. Very highly recommend!

This is my second review for Menehune Tree Service. PJ custom created and installed two trellis for us. Could not be happier! We cannot wait to get the bougainvillea's into their new homes.

Update 7-8-23: Just had Menehune re-do an aging drip irrigation system. PJ and Sandra did a great job! Very knowledgeable and care about doing a quality job. We will continue to use them for our landscaping needs!

Leon and his guys are amazing at their job and I have had them out to my house 3 times now and everytime they have done amazing.

This company cut 100 year old trees in half that were part of a city conservation for birds that continue to come back every year. They cut the trees in half only trimming one side causing the other half to become unstable and begin to fall along with bird nests and their broken eggs.

They made an appointment, didn't show, and made 2 more appointments, didn't call... Never showed up! Refused to return calls. Typical of the low quality of Tucson guys with a Sawzall and no credits. So sad. Don't waste your time. Hate I had to give one star, minus stars are required here. Just atrocious.

Did the job the same day I called. Trimmed a Mesquite tree that was out of control. Tree now looks great. Clean up was impeccable.

Leon does a nice job at a fair price. I bid a large job with another, larger tree service and Leon’s bid was less than a third of the other bid. He is reliable and communicates well.

Leon is very knowledgeable and professional. He helped us by topping a severely leaning very old saguaro. He has excellent equipment for making safe cuts. Over 40' in the air.

Leon Tree Service just removed 4 trees (3 Palm Trees and one Palo Verde). They were amazing! Prompt, efficient, clean and personable. We will definitely call them again,

The recent wind+snow pulled a huge branch down on my house. I found Leon through google. He immediately answered, drove over to look at the situation to give me a (Free!) quote, advised me why the tree was weak and that another one would have the same problem, and offered multiple solutions (he could remove the branch and leave the trees until later, or remove both trees and grind the stump). His prices were fair based on other quotes I received. I chose to have both trees removed.

Instead of the two days (over a week) he said it would take (first remove branch for safety and then come back and remove trees and grind stumps), he and his crew got it done in the same day (the day after I called for a quote!).

What's more is he REDUCED the price because they only took one trip instead of two. He is beyond fair.

The crew was quick and efficient and they cleaned up not only all the tree debris, but he cleaned off my roof and made sure the roof wasn't damaged.

I would not hesitate to call Leon again and I have him in my virtual rolodex for any future tree problems.

Leon and his crew arrived in below freezing weather to remove my 50 year old Mesquite and grind down the stump. His estimate to do this work was way below that of other contenders. The crew worked in a very professional and responsive manner. The area where the tree once stood is now clean and level. All remains were hauled away. It's almost as if the tree had never been there. I wouldn't hesitate to have him do additional work.
