We have used Peter Cutler of Tortolita Landscaping for two different projects over the past two years. Obviously, as we called him back for new work, I have no issue with recomending him. I found the price quotes from Tortolita Landscaping very reasonable, and Pete is friendly, helpful, and most importantly, stands by his work.

This is a great company and we highly recommend them for your landscaping needs. We were very pleased with the work that Pete Cutler did in our yard. He is a pleasure to work with. He replanted two trees and moved the extra dirt filling in low spots in the yard leaving a finished look. In addition, he discovered that our watering system was not operating correctly and set it properly for us. We are happy to recommend Pete for any landscaping work you need.

I am not recommending this company and I have had a bad experience with the manger Perter Cutler, I asked him to do the irrigation system and split two stations for front and backyard with new lines and add the shutoff valve on the end of the tubes. He didn't do as I requested and still with one station and no shutoff valve on the tubes. after all, I found one spot was leaking and I called him many times to ask him to come over to show me how the tubes were laid out and how the system worked, I waited for three weeks, He either ignored me or lied to me saying he would come by the date that we discussed and he nerve showed up. All I got was disappointments with high cost.
I hope other people can learn from my mistakes and not hire this unreliable company.

Hi, my name is Margo and I recently had Tortolita Landscaping at my house to repair a irrigation system leak. Pete came out immediately and not only repaired the leak but did some troubleshooting that would have cost me more money down the line. Pete and his crew were professional, knowledgeable and integral. His work was beyond my expectations, and he's reasonable in pricing. Call Tortolita Landscaping, you won't regret it.

The project involved solving a drainage issue around the house, laying pavers for a front patio and walkway, laying decorative rock around the house, and adding fencing to make my dog run area more snake resistant. There were also some electrical outlets that had to be reconnected. Additionally, our strong September gusts had torn a wall off a shed. Pete was great at communicating when he could and could not be on site. The site was kept clean as work progressed. The quality of the workmanship is very good. I was pleased with the job he did from beginning to end of the project. I definitely recommend his work.

The Garden Gate did a great job on our landscape project. We had a swim-spa surround built, outdoor kitchen and some paver updates. Henry was wonderful in helping with the design process and was always quick to answer my questions. Kirby gave us regular updates during the project work and TJ and all of the crew were very nice and easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone. Our outdoor space looks so much better! It breaks my heart to review The Garden Gate so low, ever since moving to Oro Valley I thought they would be a phenomenal place to go based on reviews but the experience I got over the phone changed my mind.
My wife and I bought a new build and are finally able to do backyard work. I called a little over a week ago and left a voicemail, someone did call me back. The conversation from the individual changed my mind, the gal told me that they are very busy and she would pass my info along to the manager and they would get ahold of me if they "had the time". I have not heard from them at all.
All I wanted was a quote, I would have been cool with it will be months before we can get out, but nothing. I highly recommend you pass The Garden Gate up so they can get "caught up" on their work.

The Garden Gate came up with a vision for our new home. The landscape design was well-thought out. They made it easy to make revisions to the proposed infrastructure and plants and trees, to come up with a beautiful end product. From the design process to installation, irrigation, lighting, synthetic turf, and custom trellises, they are outstanding!

The Garden Gate did an excellent job for us. They worked within our budget to create a lawn area for our dogs to run around and a little patio for us. They installed significant infrastructure of drainage, electrical for lights, and irrigation on timers so that we could add plants, pots and outdoor lighting in the future as we live in and use the space. The space went from a sand lot with a shed to a very user-friendly and beautiful outdoor space with room to grow and lots of potential. The workers showed up early, worked hard and did a very professional job.

I had just moved in and needed some help w my new pool and spa. Austin was responsive and came out the next morning to show me the whole system. He patiently went through how to use it properly as well as some items to look out for. He was friendly, punctual, knowledgeable and fair with pricing. They were able to balance chemicals same day too. Would highly recommend giving them a shot!
