Despite a few issues with the permitting process the overall project went very well. The crews from Solar Gain were professional quality workers. They were informative and accomplished what they planned to do each day. They cleaned up daily and at the end of the day you could not even tell they were here.
Cole was great to work with. He paid attention to details and kept us informed with what was going on the what was going to happen next.
I would recommend Cole, and Solar Gain, for any solar project you may have.

We had our solar installed & turned on just over 2 weeks ago, so can not comment on anything long term yet. However, from the first meeting w our sales person up to today, we have been very satisfied with SolarGain. Our sales person—Trace—is knowledge, responsive, professional yet very friendly. He has given us great service and gotten all the info we’ve needed or asked for. He seems interested in helping his customers, not just making a sale. Zack—our project manager(I think that’s his title?) was also top notch. Quick to respond, knowledgeable, & we had our project completed in under the projected time. Johnny & his crew (installers) were so professional, respectful, knew exactly what they were doing, timely & were the friendliest work crew!! We were glad to have all of these professionals as part of our solar purchase & installation. Thank you to each of you. We will share our praises with any one who is asking about solar. Our solar is now operating & we follow the production on the app. SolarGrain is going to be coming back very soon to install a consumption CT so we also track usage.
Edit added one year later: Still Excellent!! Happy w/our decision to install solar and all interaction w/Solar Gain, since install, has been just as great as when they were trying to make a sale!! That’s great customer service

I live out of the state and needed someone I could trust to help some older relatives whose solar system had quit not long after being installed by a less-than-reputable company that had already disappeared. I spoke by phone with Bert at Solar Gain and immediately knew this was the company I wanted to work with. He was knowledgeable, professional yet personal, and thoroughly answered all my questions. Bert was also great to work with by email as I provided additional information and photos before the visit to the home.

The day of the visit Connor came out to the house, and was even a little early! Connor was knowledgeable about the system and, more importantly, he did an amazing job patiently working with an elderly gentleman with early-stage dementia. I was visiting the day Connor came, but had to meet with someone else who came to the house.  I observed as Connor treated my family member with tremendous respect and worked together with him to resolve the problem.

When I initially searched online, I found a few companies willing to work on a solar installation by someone else. To be honest, when I called for estimates Solar Gain gave me the most expensive one. However, I felt from the first phone call that this was the company I could trust with the vulnerable family members I love. After all of my interactions with them, I can now say that I have no doubt I made the right decision. Thank you Bert and Connor for all of your help and expertise, but more importantly, genuinely caring and doing your best to help my family. I am relieved to know I have a resource now in Tucson in case there are future problems with the solar power or solar water heating systems at my relatives' home.

I didn’t end up getting solar installed, but I had the pleasure of working with the Solar Gain team. Tim and Roman, in particular, went above and beyond, even for the smallest details. I can only imagine the outstanding service they provide on a larger project. These guys deserve more than 4.9 stars—easily ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ all the way!

Great company to deal with service is top tier. Had two inverters replaced under warranty even though i am not the original owner of the home. But the system was installed by them and honored the warranty. Technicians sent were very courteous and pleasant to work with. Service department (Bert) was great to deal with and answered many of my followup questions. I was also able to find out that through Solar Edge I can extend my inverters warranties for 15 more year for only a couple hundred dollars. I wouldn't have known or found out without the help from Bert. I will continue to do business with this company as they are very good with communications, followups and provide additional expert advice and information.

I had a great experience with the Solar Gain group. My Consultant was Jose. He’s a real professional, very helpful and quick to respond. My project manager was Zachary. He was on it with every detail and made sure the install was top notch. The install crews were quick and very respectful of the space. Very impressive team.

Buying your solar panels are definitely the way to go. Solar Gain were professional and told us what to expect during the process. They were in communication with our contractor while waiting for our addition and new patio to be finished. The solar panels were installed on the new flat patio roof instead of the existing roof.

I am a a raving fan of Cole Morelli and his team at Solar Gain. I have just finished my first month of solar power use and have essentially erased my electric bill this last month! Cole, Karl, and Bobby were all excellent to work with. I am a recently retired commercial construction project manager and have been on numerous high profile, high dollar, award winning commercial building projects. My last had a massive solar installation. Cole and his team treated my home project as if I was still on one of these large projects. On time for every task, transparency with their work. Cost and efficiency of the system were two of my main goals in searching solar for my residence. Solar Gain was my top choice to meet those goals. The cost was well below other companies and the quality and efficiency of their product was stellar. I wanted to be able to not worry about what I set my thermostat at in high usage months. My June bill was $4.95!!! Success!
While the process takes a while to complete, communication through the process eased my mind. Employees were professional and knowledgable.

Salvador Andrade did a great job of explaining and providing examples of the details of the solar install prior to signing a contract. There were many questions asked and thorough answers given. I had a positive experience with Solar Gain. We recently purchased a home with existing solar panels installed by Solar Gain. We were unaware of the need to transfer the previous home owner's warranty, but Solar Gain's customer service department worked with us to service our panels as if we were their original customers. The Customer Service team worked with us to get our solar panels removed so we could perform roof repairs and placed them back in a professional and timely manner. I appreciate Solar Gain's willingness to hear my concerns and reach a resolution that was fair and beneficial to all parties. I would recommend Solar Gain to others!

I was very happy working with Solar Gain to install an array of solar panels on our south-facing patio cover. I like having the battery to be able to avoid importing energy during peak hours and when the sun is not shining. They also accommodated my non-standard request to add a generator input for use if the grid is down and the battery is fully drained. The system took longer to get installed and approved than estimated, but most of the delays were out of their control (waiting for town and power company to do reviews and inspections). I do my best to support local Tucson businesses whenever possible, so I was pleased when a good friend of mine referred me to Solar Gain back in 2015 after I expressed an interest in ‘going solar.’ Solar Gain ended up installing a much-needed full-cantilever 4 car carport for me with 33 large solar panels that also serve as the ‘roof’ of the carport. Initially the system was designed with ‘Yield Expectations’ of 13,804kwh/year of production, but the system has averaged about 5% more production than that every year. This solar power substantially reduced my electric costs even though I upgraded from evaporative cooler to central AC at the same time the solar system was installed. Now almost 7 years later, with virtually no maintenance, and even though I was expecting production to decline over the years, the solar canopy is still producing about the same as it did that first year which amazes me. This was obviously a good investment for me that saves me money on electricity, adds value to my home, and is environmentally friendly.
