First Class all the way! I met Mr. Jason Rowland for the first time when getting an estimate on taking down six very large mature oak trees that was just feet away from my house. To make this job more difficult the trees were situated very near electrical, telephone and cable service for my home. I received five estimates from five local firms. Rowland Tree Service was in the middle of prices for the job. Not the lowest, but the price quoted was still reasonable. I picked Rowland Tree Service for several reasons. First after doing my own due diligence I found Rowland was the only local firm insured with both general liability and workman’s compensation. I verified this by having a copy of his insurance certificate in my hand and calling his insurance agent myself to verify the policy was “in force“. All the firms that gave me a quote had general liability insurance, which covered me if they damage my property. Only Rowland Tree Service had general liability and workman’s comp. What most homeowners don t realize is that if a worker is injured on their property, the homeowner can be held liable for all medical costs unless the worker is covered by workman’s compensation insurance. Accidents do happen and hospital bills for a serious accident can be extraordinarily expensive and homeowner s insurance policies normally exclude such injuries. I did not want to take that risk so I picked Rowland with that line of thought. On interviewing Mr. Jason Rowland I found he had the proper equipment, experience, and training to do the job. They did the job with a bucket truck, a loader and lots of chain saws. I was also impressed with his years of experience and as part of his training Jason Rowland is also a Certified Arborist. Mr. Jason Rowland showed up on time with his expert crew and systemically cut all the trees, branch by branch too the ground and no power, internet or cable outages. They were very organized and everyone knew exactly what they were supposed to do. Personally I found Jason Rowland to be an honest, responsive, and friendly guy who has a respectful and excellent crew. They did an amazing job and I would not hesitate to use this firm again. I only wish every contractor were as easy to deal with.

We had a very tall, 24-in diameter white oak close to our house and pool deck on an incline. Rowland was highly recommended by friend, and the estimate was better than others. The owner/operator showed up bright and early at 6am and had the tree down exactly where we wanted it within minutes! If we need any additional tree work, we will definitely use Rowland.
