Crawford Electric, Inc.

Avoid doing business with Crawford Electric. My wife and I hired the company for nearly $5,000 worth of electrical work on a home remodeling project since 2017, including burying our main electrical service line, and inside work. The outside line burial has been no issue, but the inside house work was clearly substandard. As a result, we paid another electrician to repair or replace Crawford Electric work numerous times in the last three years.

For example, lights and fans suddenly started failing entirely. The second electrician found numerous faulty electrical connections caused by improper installation in every instance. When asked by Blake at Crawford why we didn't allow the company to repair its mistakes, I explained that the work should have done properly in the first place. If they don't care enough to do good work to begin with, why provide a second chance to make things worse?

Also, twice we attempted to schedule important and time sensitive projects with Crawford in 2020, and both times Crawford failed to show up at the agreed upon time. Each time Blake blamed Marty or some other person or problem, and refused to accept responsibility for failing to communicate clearly with customers. They wasted our time, and delayed our electrical projects for weeks as a result.

Crawford Electric demonstrates clear lack of professionalism and disdain for customers. That hubris only comes from being the "only game in town," which is likely the only reason they are still in business given the company's terrible approach to customer service and safe electrical installations from our own personal experience.

Update April 2, 2026:

Today we again paid another electrician to replace substandard work done by Crawford Electric.

This is the second time in 12 months, and nearly six times total, that we've paid another electrician to replace Crawford's work. We shouldn't have to pay money twice for the same work.

To date, we've paid thousands of dollars to replace Crawford Electric's substandard and dangerous work.

Worse of all, Crawford's work created a fire hazard in our bedroom, which endangered my family and myself.

Thanks for endangering my family with substandard electrical work, Crawford Electric.

Luckily, we located a great company to hire: Edge Electric Co. in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Give them a call and avoid hiring companies that endanger customers with substandard electrical installation.

Great service professionals.
They upgraded me from a 100 amp to a 200 amp. service with a new breaker box. I will use them again when the framing is complete.
